Rosso Mazara

This was our second visit. The food was very nice but felt it was quite expensive. I ordered sea bass. I thought that for £18.50 I would get some kind of side with it but I had to order a separate dish. The fish only came with a little bit of rocket and a slice of lemon.
Will probably return but will stick to pizza - they are amazing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our food at rosso mazzara. It was quiet but we shared a starter and main courses were pasta based and well presented and delicious. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Rosso Mazara is a great restaurant. There are always some delicious specials as well as the regular menu to choose from. The waiting staff are great too.

Our first experience of eating out since lock down so we were little apprehensive. We were very pleased to see a reduced number of tables and staff all wearing masks which put our mind at rest. The food was really exceptional ( particularly the veal with spaghetti and the pasta Mare) . The service was excellent as usual.

Lovely fresh food delivered to the table very hot, plenty of choice and very reasonably priced ( due to current government deal). We have used this restaurant for take out service during the recent lock down period and enjoyed the food so much it has now become one of our favourites.

Decided to book a table last minute for myself and partner and to say I can't wait to visit again.The service was outstanding, food incredible and all round atmosphere, beautiful.

I don't usually leave reviews but this place has been on my mind since visiting.

If you are in the area or want to try somewhere new I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Excellent value. I encourage everyone to visit. Seafood pizza was like nothing I had ever tried before and the penne pollo spinachi was exquisite.

The three people in our party ordered different meals. All were delicious. We would definitely eat here again if in the area.

The food was excellent as usual. Had a great night. Particular favourites were the sea bass , veal escalope , fillet steak and swordfish.

Food is really good, very well seasoned and tasty.
A truly and authentic Italian food.
The place is also cozy.
Waiter was nice and attentive.
The only downside is that is a bit pricey for what it is, and charging a part £5 for carrots and potatoes....
The dishes are tasty but if you can refer chicken will come only the chicken with anything as side dish, wish in my opinion is not ethic for a restaurant.
You buy a plate not the ingredients.

Was not a great dining experience. Nobody to greet us when we arrived. We seated ourselves at the bar and were then handed a menu's but not told what was happening with our table. We were then seated and we ordered. Nobody poured the wine or water, which is fine, but a little odd for a waitress or waiter not to do this initially. Our food came in good time, but was very bland and tasteless. My husband had prawn starter, but no water bowl was offered and he had to try peel them with a knife and fork. I had a salad, the tomatoes were not ripe, the mozzarella had a fizzy aftertaste and had hardly any dressing. I didn't finish it. I had the aubergine pasta, which had no more than 6 little pieces of aubergine in it and mostly just pasta in tomato sauce. Don't think we will visit again. They were very busy, so perhaps just a bad night to go (day after valentines day).

An excellent menu of choice and food was well prepared and served

Pre-booked our table about a week ago, I was really surpirsed that on Valentines evening the place wasn't heaving but that didn't detract from anything. Service was good (we've been a few times and you have to accept the "italian" approach to service. Food, as ever, really good (fritto misto was fab) and, must be good as there was italians on the next door table to us. Defo go again.
