ῥοῦς (Rous) epitomizes the story of a dream to give Cyprus a fine dining experience deeply rooted in Cyprus’s history.

We did not wish to reproduce any fine dining restaurant abroad. Our vision? To create dishes inspired by the plethora of cultures that have left their mark within the culinary habits of the Cypriot people, while elevating them to the standards of a fine dining restaurant.

The name ῥοῦς (Rous) encapsulates the concept of the restaurant. It is written in ancient Greek which translates to modern Greek as "flow", "current". The name reflects the owners’ aim to delineate the origins of their dishes, influenced by the flow of conquerors of Cyprus, who left in their passing their mark on our cooking traditions.

            Innovative cuisine based on Cypriot roots, beautifully presented in an elegant setting. Knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming staff. Overall a wonderful meal.

            No much room left to have a better experience. I went for the valentine menu with my wife. I don't have words to describe how good it was. A special wink to the Cyrpiot coffee icecream dessert that will be remembered forever.

            Michelin star quality food, highly creative, will return and recommend without hesitation. Lucky enough to meet the chef who was as charming as his food was delicious

            Rous Restaurant is one of my top favourites in the city and I have had best culinary experiences. This time, although the tastes were (almost) all excellent, the "new" approach that forces all customers to go for an "experience menu" (many dishes of very small quantity) with no option of "normal size" portion like in the past, or order outside the prefixed menu disappointed me. I was really looking forwarded tasting what new (or old) Chef had to offer but not by forcing options and portions...

            Absolutely fantastic dining experience! I had a vegetarian menu and my husband the classic. Both were exceptional. Highly recommend

            Imaculate service and a culinary jorney that made you smile. Each dish served was better than the prior. We were sad that opted for the classic and not the adventure menu however we were full anyhow. Everything was just perfect. Worths the price tag 100% Ideal for special events. Loved it. Michelin star worth.
