My favorite steak house in the town. Very friendly and professional service. Been here many times especially in the summer when the indoor dining was much more available. Definitely not a place I can go to every week, but it is honestly incredible. I cannot wait to come back!

Amazing food. So delicious even better than what the menu described. Made reservations so we ate in the more closed off outdoor seating. Which was very comfortable and warm compared to other outdoor eating that’s available. Service was great. And the ambiance was a great way to conclude our stay in New York

Fantastic service, William took care of our table. Appetizers and side portions were generous. Steaks all cooked to perfection and flavor was excellent.

Fun atmosphere. Upbeat music, but not too loud. Friendly server. Nice selection of starters and sides. Great recommendations, and the dinner was seamless excellent dry aged steaks and smoking seafood tower.

What an amazing experience dining at Royal 35. The restaurant management team could not be more attentive, the waitstaff more professional and the food the best that NYC has to offer...even in the middle of a pandemic. Can’t wait for 2021 and things to get back to normal for fantastic restaurants such as Royal35.

Without exception, the best steakhouse in New York. The seafood tower is next level, very fresh and delicious, and the steak was the nicest I’ve ever had. Backed by great service and an amazing wine list. Thank you for making our Christmas dinner so special!

Birthday. It was a very beautiful place but the service turned out to be slow. Not sure if they were understaffed that day but the food made up for everything.

Wine may be a pricey (3x retail) but they are entitled to make a living...and there is something for evey budget.

Great experience! Steak was probably best I’ve had. Dry aged in house, juicy and perfectly cooked. Great wine list. Staff was amazingly friendly, wore masks and hand sanitizer was available everywhere. Couldn’t expect a better experience anywhere in this strange time. A gem of a restaurant.

Place reeked like cigarette smoke and weed pretty much the entire night from the people smoking outside. Brought it to attention early on - nothing done about it. (inside patron)

Have been to almost every steakhouse in the city - would not go back to Royal 35.

$500 tab - normal Friday date night with $120 bottle of red zin.

Overall? "Royally Meh"... go elsewhere.

It was my husband’s birthday and they made it very special! Everything was suburb!!

The filet mignon was as incredible as expected after reading reviews. I didn't expect it to be 14 ounces. I thought I'd need a togo box, but it was too good to save for later. The mushrooms were nearly adictive and tye broccoli was steamed to perfection. The wine (an Oregon Pinot Noir Eluan), was the perfect match at the right temperature. For dessert I had a Goose Island IPA.

The world is full of steak houses that can cook a great peace of meat to perfection. But half of them miss the mark with the sides, the service or the wine. That's not the case here. There wasn't a single thing that could have been better.

The music was current and good. My server was Val. Six stars.

Went here for a birthday dinner. The food was very good and my wife's Rib eye steak was cooked to perfection. I had the NY Strip steak and it was very good. The meal sizes are large and you do not go away hungry. We finished our dinner with a delicious complimentary homemade Orange butter cake. Looking forward to a return visit.

We finally had the chance to return to Royal 35 steakhouse. It was too long. As usual we had a delicous dinner. First I had the best martini anywhere at Royal 35. Then filet mignon cooked perfectly. Amazing! Delicious! Sides were great too. Mashed potatoes yum. An intimate restaurant which is condusive to comfortable dining.

The food was excellent but was very disappointed in the steak sauce. It tasted like bottled cocktail sauce. Surely they can do better! The only flaw in an otherwise exceptional experience.

Love everything about Royal 35. Great menu, food is high quality, lovely setting and staff is very professional and friendly . We’re so happy it’s in our neighborhood and that this great restaurant has been able to survive through the huge challenges of the pandemic

Remmy was a great server, the food was excellent. Bacon and crab cake apps, perfect crust on the steaks, mashed potatoes and asparagus, creme brûlée and orange cake all delicious. Definitely going again.
