Royal Britannia Gastro Pub
Looking for a quiet place on the strip? Here's the place!
We really enjoyed our meal and had an excellent server. The Welsh Rabbit was exceptional.
Food was ok. Got the fish and chips and scotch eggs. Scotch eggs were ok, but nothing to write home about. Fish was greasy and fries were soggy, but the remoulade was really good. My dining partner got the Buffalo burger and he said it was excellent, but had the same thought on the fries and scotch. Service was ok, but I think they were short staffed as everything was a little slow, but you could tell they were trying to keep up.
We put on every reservation that I am celiac. This is the first time anyone actually addressed it. It was so nice to have someone actually explain to me what would be good options before I even asked.
Our server was timely and efficient. The manager that talked to us was friendly and informed. The food was delicious! It was an excellent experience.
There was a small mix up in the menu, the open table version had not been updated, but all turned out well. Food was good, service was good.
Disappointed. The food was just OK. The service was slow. Warning they do not accept room charges.
The food was good, but they have Kilkenny beer. The best cream ale beer there is! Enjoy the food, but make sure to try the Kilkenny beer.
Family vacation! Server (bartender), Manager, all staff were amazing and customer service was heart felt. Keep up the great work!!!
Not many places serve proper British food, so I definitely enjoyed the novelty. I didn't know they had happy hour, but the server was nice enough to offer us half off our drinks... so we stayed longer, lol. We'll be back for those milkshakes!
Great food! Good size portions.
Very clean and nicely decorated
Server was excellent... Food..eh-have had much better Shepard’s Pie!
Very versatile menu-something to please everyone. I had the lobster roll and it was outstanding. Like the location in the casino also. Would definitely visit again when in Las Vegas.
It reminds me of English pub, the day that my lovely wife and I were there for her birthday it was early it was quiet had an opportunity to view the ambiance and feel the environment and its total array. And I found it to be very pleasing, tried a new dish that I never had before very tasty, but not healthy for me. Amy, if I’m not mistaken is her name what a gorgeous personality and a wonderful ambiance for customer service.
Got the donut burger, poutine, and drinks and all were amazing! Eric took great care of us and made great recommendations. Eating here is a MUST!!!
Great food and drinks pretty empty & quiet early on
Royal Britannia was FANTASTIC! The food was great and the service was wonderful. They have a lot of variety on the menu and are willing to modify to meet your needs. I had the brussel sprouts and a steak which were perfectly cooked and delicious. My co-worker had the Shepard's pie and loved it. We will definitely return if we are ever in Vegas again.
The service, food and drinks were on point! We were a little early for our reservation but the lovely hostess Olivia was able to seat us quickly and we got a great table out front to people watch. Our server Damian greeted us promptly and gave us perfect suggestions for our beer flights. They had quite a selection! He was friendly and knew the menu well. The bartender Jillian was so nice to stop by and make sure we enjoyed our drinks. Everyone here was so friendly! The manager Andrew even stopped by to say hello too. We got the fish & chips and the cheesesteak. Both came out hot, fresh and tasty. The staff here made us feel like we were all good neighbors. We will definitely be back with more friends next time.
Great food, was a touch on the loud side but next time I'm in the area I will be back.
We ordered a steak... firstly it was ordered as Rare - it came pretty much Raw... asked for mash to be substituted for fries - they said they couldn’t do that with out removing both the veg and mash... so plate arrived with a mountain of fries but no veg. Luckily we ordered some sprouts but they were pretty much raw - just heated through rather then cooked... We should have complained but hey we are British :0/
We had a nice dinner. My husband’s food was not hot, but he ate it anyway. Mine was hot. The server told the manager who came over & apologized & offered us a free glass of wine each.
Wasn’t sure where to have dinner today but my husband and I found this cute restaurant on our way to Tao for lunch.. The food options caught our eyes and quickly made a dinner reservation. The hostess (Olivia) was extremely nice and seated us in the patio. Our server Maria, was very attentive and sweet. The food was amazing and came out shortly after our appetizer. Staff seemed somewhat busy but extremely attentive to everyone including us- which was shocking because Vegas is know for having rude servers. The food plus the amazing staff at this restaurant is what we are looking foreword to on our next visit.
I took my family here for a "pub" dinner and we ordered 5 fish n chip dinners and 1 chicken pot pie. the food came out 2 plates at a time with too much delay in between.....by the end when the chicken pot pie was supposed to come out and I had finished about a third of my meal already - they told my husband the pie was "not right" and they didnt want to serve it......wow! fish was good. chips over done. coleslaw yuk. my husband had a piece of my fish coz he didn't want to wait. the staff were very apologetic but this all ruined our night out.
but I believe in second chances and would THINK about trying it again......they did discount our meal but what they should have done is given us a free meal if we came back!!!!
Slow service and even slower to get our food. The place was empty and it took over a hour to get our food. The manager was polite and apologetic and gave our party 25% off. Will not return.
What cool place. We live the Botha w individual flat screen TVs to watch the game. The food was delicious and the service excellent. I highly recommend it and I’ll be back.
Fish and chips was great, service was excellent. Save room for desert!
Manager needs to go. Both servers we talked to complained about the manager. We waited over an hour and a half for food and specialty drinks. Some of the food was inedible when it arrived. Example, burger was burnt to the point of being Charcoal. We asked to see the manager and the server came back out in tears saying that he wouldn’t see us. My wife and I are not complainers and have worked in food service. There were several things that just weren’t acceptable. I hope for the sake of the company and the employees (both of whom had said they were actively looking for other work) that there is a change in policy and management.
Really good food and good value. Cute place - casual. Service was outstanding.
Probably the worst food I & my team have ever ate in the Venetian. The quality was alongside a standard chain restaurant. Fries cooked in old oil. Veg over cooked. Salty sauce. Terrible.
We left a tip and advised server, the tip was entirely due to her efforts.
Not recommended for dinner. Drinks only!
Great experience. Food was delicious and the service was spot on! My advice, make sure you get a milkshake!!
We sat for about 5-7 minutes and no one came to our table. I finally had to get up and ask for some to be sent to my table. The sad thing is the restaurant was empty and the server who ultimately waited on us was chitchatting at the hostess stand and had not noticed us. Very disappointing.
Good food but the service was slow for only having three tables with customers.
This restaurant was delicious. The poutine burger is HUGE!!!! Good lord. It took up an entire cast iron skillet, you definitely get your money’s worth. Hint: the other burgers like the regular cheeseburger do not come with a side, it is extra. Just a little note. Overall it was very good.
First time to the Royal Britannia, a Pub located in Venetian Canal Shops. This pub is on the tucked way in the Canal shop area, and resembles a British style pub. The menu is fairly standard pub food, but is one of the few places to get Guinness on tap.
We had early reservations thru Open Table, but the pub never did get busy even for a Friday night. Service was good for a pub, but if this place was crowded the dinner experience may suffer. Started dinner with a few Guinness’, and dinner were entrees of the Poutine Burger and Prime Dip Sandwich. The Poutine burger was a heavy meal with Fries, Gravy (with lots of onions, and mushrooms) Cheese, and then the Burger and Bun, all topped off with a fried egg. A lot of food! The Prime Dip sandwich was very good with a nice toasted bun and a moderate amount of meat. But this sandwich is fairly simple with just meat and bun, with a side of Au Jus, surprisingly no fries or chips were included. Also ordered a Caesar salad to begin the meal, and there may be only one size and it was big enough to share for two.
Overall the meal was enjoyable, and we try this again, but would probably skip the Poutine burger for a lighter meal.
Hints for your visit: Reservations may not be needed, but request a booth as ours had an electrical outlet if you need to charge a device. The pub does not accept room charges, so be prepared to pay direct.
After the great reviews of this place I was excited for my family to eat there...the fact there a total of two tables on a Saturday night should have been a tip off that all was not great. The prices were typical inflated Vegas prices. My husband's prime rib was more like a roast beef. There was no ambiance and service was mediocre. Will never eat here again...
Roast beef was great, make sure you ask them to trim the fat.
Good food. Good service.
First time there. It was a little difficult to find but once there all went well, food excellent but thought drinks were overpriced as was food. However it is Vegas. Much more value at home in Florida. They did give us discount for grand opening but still pricey. Enjoyed evening and time there regardless.
The service was atrocious. Food quality left much to be desired, my fish was raw unside that battered shell...sent everything back. The carrot cake saved the experience, so good!
The food specials were good and the food was better than fair. They could use more waitstaff for dinner. We asked for our check but it took the waitress a little over 30 mins to get back to our table.
