Ruchii Indian Restaurant

If you like Indian food you should not miss Ruchii , small restaurant with top quality food and service and well located in Main St Blackrock, only place I know where the chef comes out and checks with the diners that they enjoyed their dinner , friendly staff and we will return again.

Very friendly and with pleasantly ambience. Some food very good ( the starters)-and some very ordinary- the prawns. But really enjoyed ourselves.

Excellent food, good service, would have preferred A la carte option not Xmas menu as don't eat dessert...but they gave us an extra glass of wine instead of dessert. Quite noisy at pre-Xmas with lots of drinking tables.

Delicious food, a real authentic menu and diverse flavours. Will return again and again!

Lovely Indian food and venue

Maybe Sunday evening is not a good time to go. Though I’d booked and the place was nearly empty I was seated on a small table beside the door/kitchen. One of the staff was spray cleaning the legs of the nearby tables......definitely a first. I’d be hesitant to return.

Had a wonderful dinner at Ruchii on Thursday evening. Their early bird menu is fantastic value. The food was complex and tasted wonderful. The staff were very helpful and even brought my wife some extra sauce for her butter chicken curry which was spectacular. Have akready booked to return for dinner next Thursday

Ambiance badly impacted by a very loud, drunk table beside us...staff should politely asked them to be quiet.

We are from Mexico and Texas and were looking for some spice. This place is perfect! Great food, flavors, staff and experience!!!

We recently moved back from the US and live near Blackrock. We have been to Rucchi four times since. This is the best Indian food we have had in years, perhaps ever. Everything is made from scratch and the flavours are amazing.

Go there and enjoy delicious, professionally prepared food that will linger on your taste buds!

We had wonderful food however service not up to its usual standard. We only got one menu between two of us and despite other tables being seated after us, we had to wait quite some time (and ask twice) before getting a second menu as none was available. We also didn’t get the usual complimentary poppadums that the tables beside us got. We seemed a bit forgotten between a large party and a table that knew the chef (he delivered their main course). A pity as the food always amazing and service generally very good.

We're lucky to have several good Indian restaurants near us but Rucchi does the best food and the restaurant was pleasantly buzzy on a Saturday evening. The chef, who trained in some of the best hotels in India, knows his stuff. Well worth a visit if you like good Indian.

Great food served in very nice surroundings by very attentive friendly staff.

My two friends and I recently visited Ruchii after work. The food was amazing and really nice wine. The restaurant was out of stock of the wine we ordered and offered us a more expensive bottle at no extra charge. It was also my friends birthday and the head chef came out with an extra dessert and candle for her. This is a lovely restaurant that I would recommend to anyone who loves Indian cuisine. We are looking forward to our next visit soon.

What an absolutely delicious meal. This place is for for many occasions. It’s relaxed but smart. Not stuffy! The food was just delicious. Every single dish. I am not someone who usually opts for an Indian restaurant if there are options but it was highly recommended and I’m so glad I went. I’ll have to go again this week before I leave!

Our very first time here, and it was superb. You should not miss this authentic Indian restaurant, the food was full of fantastic flavours, and the service was excellent. We even enjoyed some great cocktails! It is now a must-eat for us, great to see some new cooking talent in Blackrock.
