Rumba Cubana - Jersey City

I took my husband here for Father’s Day and it was amazing. I was very pleased with how thorough and safe everything was handled. The food was very good but shrimp in garlic lacked a little flavor and not hot enough. Everything else was delicious. Great value and experience after three months of not eating out. I highly recommend this place!

Excellent food, excellent service, and excellent atmosphere, even during Covid-19 times. And had a lot of food to take home. Looking forward to eating here regularly again as the world opens up more.

This was my second visit and I couldn't wait! Love it! The cuisine is authentic and delicious. The staff knowledgeable of the menu and very customer friendly. Love the drinks! I love the palm trees and ambiance. Makes me feel like I am in Cuba!!!! I will definitely be back.

I would say the food was average. Mofongos were very bland, guava and cheese empanadas the inside wasn’t melted properly. The service and margaritas were good!

I have recommended several times to friends we went for brunch on sat very busy one odd issue no brunch menu just regular menu which is great Latin Food ! we are a table of 7 and everyone loved their food. Waiter recommended the meat platter for 2 wouldn't do that again, the pork lecon is such a winner friends had the white fish she loved it Drinks are always good, place is always busy so nothing sits around Great spot staff are adorable and helpful, helps to speak spanish to bus boys and food servers

The food......... what else can I say but Mucho Bueno. Suggestion, make reservations unless you want to wait to eat. Left after 9 on a Saturday, people were waiting to be seated.

Beautiful place with great ambiance! The menu offers lots of choice and the portions are very generous for the price. It's my new go-to restaurant in JC!! ( Only negative point is that it's noisy)

A new favorite in JC

Moving to Jersey City was hard and finding a great restaurant and delicious food, great drinks, staff, ambiance, was a must for me. When we arrived I had a great welcoming feeling. I loved this place! I went for my birthday in November and loved everything. I will be back soon! And this will be one of my regular date night or girl's day out spots in the future! Amazing authentic cuisine, staff, drinks, tropical, cultural background music and I loved the birthday singing surprise!!!!

The food was absolutely delicious and their service was extremely friendly and attentive. This is a great spot for families as well.

Not sure where to start, if I could give 10 stars for everything I would. From walking into the door to leaving, this place exceeded my expectations.

Had 8pm reservations, arrived @ 7:45 and was immediately seated, our server Ronald promptly greeted us and took our drink order. Came back and took appetizer and main order. My wife had some ingredient questions, he knew every question she asked. He was just awesome in every aspect of our dining experience.

This place was jammed, not an open table(no pun intended) and each course came out hot and in the most prompt and professional manner.

Now onto the food................AMAZING! From the appetizer to the main dish, (and let’s not forget about dessert) was pure heaven. Quality food, service and large portions are the focus here, definitely left with a smile and cannot wait to return.

From the managers to to the busboy’s that filled our water, they were so attentive and concerned that everything was OK with our meal and service. Nice touch!

Just an FYI, parking is tough, there is valet parking right next door.

Always a good time at Rumba. The value is amazing. The servers are super cool, sweet and very accommodating. The ladies at the door should smile a bit more.

For a birthday, only thing I will say is be prepared for the noise of the staff singing happy birthday

This location is lovely and roomier than the location in North Bergen. The food is traditional and authentic and the service was excellent.

The slow-cooked pork was delicious and went well with the rice and black beans. The service was excellent.

Rumba Cubana is an excellent and lively spot. We come here for brunch and are always impressed by the quality of food and service. Live music is a bonus. Definitely recommend!

Service was very good as soon as I walked in the door. Its a very positive environment with great food for crazy good prices. My boyfriend and I had a full dinner with leftovers for only $25. Definitely the best cuban restaurant in the area!
