The food was good service was poor. Waitress was very friendly however was very inattentive. She had a total of 2 tables including ours and would disappear to the kitchen for long periods of time. Ordering a drink should not take 20 minutes and when I asked where it was no apology just said going to get it now . Very disappointing to pay good money for a mother's day celebration which came with poor service .
Great food everyone enjoyed themselves-such a special night for Mother's Day-Mr. Russo was very gracious and generous
One my favorite restaurants. The food is outstanding and Jonathan provide great service.
Outstanding. This was my 2nd time at Russos, and it is as good as it gets for a quality Italian restaurant. My wife is 1st generation (Italian) and my mother-in-law is an excellent Italian cook, so I'm spoiled and it's hard for me to find a meal better than what I get on Sunday afternoons. So hopefully she (my mother in law) is not reading this, cause Russo's is better. Sorry mom. My wife and I had the veal parmesan and chicken saltimbocca - both with fresh pasta - most recently, and we'll be going back as soon as feasible. Loved all of it.
Was not happy with the quality of the food at all chicken was awful and gamey the smell of not fresh fish lingering in the air nit what I expected at all
Great first time experience! Food and service were superb. We will be back!
Great place with great atmosphere. Would highly recommend for a great night out!
Have been to Russo several times and always a very nice experience. The food is great and the service is very professional. Highly recommended.
We love Russo! You need to eat here!
Our server, Emily, was fantastic - warm, friendly and knowledgable.
Had the BEST pork chop ever!! Thing was giant and well cooked.
This was our first time here. We were totally impressed with the whole experience. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant!
Made a last-minute reservation after walking through the neighborhood .We sat at a little hightop in the bar area , gorgeous atmosphere , service was attentive and food was amazing I had the best sausage and broccoli rabe with homemade pasta probably that I’ve ever had my sister had veal marsala which was equally amazing. I took a Bolognese with fresh pasta to go for my boyfriend which he ate that night and then the next day and he said it was delicious I will definitely be going back. So happy to have found this great spot!!!
Some really awful red wines
Waitress wonderful helping to find a nice wine
Food very salty
Dish Taken away before one of us was actually finished
One of, if not the, best Italian meals my wife and I have had in Worcester. Homemade pasta, perfect portion sizes, delicious cannolis for dessert.
I can’t believe it was our first visit. This is a wonderful restaurant, wonderful people and wonderful food. We will be sure to be back again!
Great food! Awesome service
Great food and very good service... I would go back...
We celebrated an anniversary with dinner there the dining room is beautiful and the food is amazing! I had lasagna for dinner and the cannoli for dessert I can’t say enough good about the meal!!
Nice meal out with groups or a smaller setting. We had our anniversary dinner here and were both glad we chose Russo’s.
Always a great meal, but mussels were in a broth that was completely watered down. Simply no taste. Chef's need to taste their food. It was like food in hot water. Other than that, this place is great and other dishes were fantastic.
Went for the fried artichokes and to try a new place. Fried artichokes were interesting but with a dipping sauce that appeared to just be mayonnaise. Calamari was excellent but again, what were those dipping sauces it came with? Very weird.
Entrees: eggplant parm pie (decent but nothing special) veal saltimbocca with fresh made pasta (pretty sure pasta was not fresh, and got maybe 3oz of veal for $23), lasagna, kids spaghetti and meatballs. Worst and weirdest tasting meatball ever. Not even sure what kind of spices they put in them, but certainly not anything I’ve encountered prior. Gravy was very acidic and not much flavor.
I wanted to try the zeppole but it was described as a doughnut, which is not what zeppole is. Waitress was inattentive and never asked my kids what they wanted to drink. Also had the house red wine which my wife liked and I hated, so I guess it was a wash. Total of $123 for a meal for four people there was underwhelming at best. My opinion, when things are tough for business, that is the time to step up and make extra effort, not sit back and raise prices and cross your fingers. Would not go back.
Great. Super good Italian food.
The first time going to Russo's for date night with my wife. The bruchetta and salad was great, the main courses of Chicken Marsala and Chicken Francese was even better. We look forward to going back for another day night.
The Food was just okay. Service was not bad but not great. For the price I would definitely not go back.
Everything about this restaurant was wonderful! The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding! Authentic Italian ... reminded me of my grandmother’s cooking. We were pleasantly surprised when we received our check. It was very reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning!
My recent visit was on Saturday Feb 27th This was the first time we dined at Russo’s. I was happy to learn they had a small parking lot on the side of the building as street parking can be difficult. Our entrance to the restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The decor and furnishings were comforting. We were seated in a side dining room at a small yet comfortable table. Our waitress was attentive and had a wonderful personality. We both ordered the NY strip steak. I requested different sides for my entree which was accommodated with no up charge. My steak was the best I’ve had in Worcester. The GM checked on our meal which was a fantastic conclusion to a delightful dinner. We will be back in the near future. Thanks to all at Russo’s!
Great people, great atmosphere, great drinks
Very good authentic Italian food. The clams with linguine was the best my girlfriend ever had.
The atmosphere was like a rustic wine cellar which we thought was great. I really enjoyed the Frutti di Mare which was incredible and Gnocchi... one of the better tasting we have had. Service was quick, too. We will be back.
The food was really good. Server was nice and didn’t take long to bring stuff out. Would always check to see if we were okay. Had fun with my friends
Lovely and delicious
From the minute we walked in the door the service was horrible. I can’t even get into all of the details that made the night the worst dining experience...how about apps came before cocktails, meals came before wine (that was ordered with apps), dirty dishes on table when placing entrees, the waitress couldn’t pronounce the specials (that I had to ask for after our apps came). The food was meh...Wouldn’t recommend at all. Needs lots of work all around.
This place was perfect from the meatball appetizer to the custom steak marsala they made me !! It felt like we were dining n a real italian wine cellar. Would highly recommend.
My girlfriend and I had 7:00 reservations the other night and we got seated and waited for 20 minutes without anyone coming to our table to take our drink or food order. After the 20 minutes of having zero service, we then got up and left. We will not be going back.
Great Atmosphere, hard to believe its in Worcester as it could be a wine cellar from Italy. Waiter was outstanding, great bottle of wine for $30. My only complaint is that they do not have port on the wine list. Italian restaurant without port :-). Its the only complaint I can come up with.
Great food, great service. And great quiet atmosphere in the back room.
Everything from food, waiter, ambience was excellent. We'll be back !
First time, it was such a great experience! Food was amazing!
Gnocchi with vodka sauce was amazing!!! Will be back! Waitress was great!
