7th anniversary; checked all the boxes, good food, great view, lovely staff, and yummy beverages!

Best fish & chips and crab sandwich we have had in a long time. A really nice place with a great view of the inlet from SF Bay. The service was exceptional. Our waitress took great pains to move us inside once we discovered it was a bit too chilly on the outdoor patio. We'll be back as this is our 4th visit.

Fish & Chips were delicious as usual.
Nice to be able to be outside by the water under shade.
Server Neil/Neal was very pleasant.

Note: maybe some plywood down over the rock floor of the gazebo. Hard to move chairs. Also need to cover the ground rods of the gazebo or someone is going to trip.

We had a lovely experience and the food was fantastic. The ambiance wasn’t ideal because of the tent seating due to COVId, but that is no fault of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend the restaurant.

We always love coming to Sailor Jack’s, and the outdoor setup was lovely. We had a wonderful server who was very accommodating and pleasant.
The entrees of fried Prawns and grilled tuna sandwiches were wonderful and very well prepared and flavorful. We liked how everything was wrapped in foil upon delivery and served hot.
However, a bit disappointed with the chowder (always a favorite) - a bit salty, much too much thickening, and not enough clams! So sad as I’ve always said it was the best chowder in the Bay Area! Please go back to your regular recipe!!

We were four rather than two that our reservation stated but no problem being seated. Outside near the water protected by the wind from a tent, it was an overall good experience. And other loyal patron know the food is high quality and good value.

Brunch in an outdoor tent with the wind was interesting. Not my favorite way to dine, but food was quick, hot and delicious

Food was fine but did not find out that main course unavailable until 35 minutes after ordering it. By then we were not hungry after starters so did not even order 2 main courses so they lost money. Staff meant well but service was absurdly slow.

Was treated by my sister for my birthday, we shared the Ahi Tuna Stack and the Little Neck Clams, both were GREAT. We ate so much bread with the Clam Broth that we had to take the other food to go, I had the Fish and Chips because they reheat well, she had the Crab Melt. We shared the Strawberry Cheese Cake... it was DEVINE, love this place

Nicholas is an outstanding server. Very good skills.the food is great, there is no pressure to leave. We had wonderful lunch. Beautiful views. Clam Chowder is delicious!!!

We went for brunch on Saturday morning and sat in the tent with a great Waterview. Our server and all staff were so attentive and professional. The warm biscuits were so good and we enjoyed our entrees: Monte Cristo sandwich, smoked salmon eggs Benedict and a California omelette. It was a lovely experience

The outdoor dining experience has been such a breath of fresh air at Sailor Jack's. I took family and their children who came to town for a visit and the service, ambiance, and food were all above standard. My family enjoyed steaks and seafood, appetizers and cocktails and all of it was warm, fresh and so delicious. The manager and the staff are so attentive and hardworking and friendly. I was proud to have my family visit and venture into this establishment as a "first and lasting impression" of Benicia.

My husband and I took my adult so and his fiancé to Sailor Jacks on Sunday, March 14th, for my son’s birthday. We were seated at a great window table as soon as we arrived. Our waitress greeted us and promptly took our otders. The food was served expediently and was hot. Everything we ordered was extremely delicious. My only complaint is the martinis weren’t properly strained and the margaritas weren’t stirred and were missing salt, even though we requested it. Overall, I would definitely return and recommend it to my friends with the advice to order beer, wine or a simple cocktail and forego any exotic drinks.

The food was great, the service was wonderful. Our server was very attentive. The restaurant did a great job of keeping the food warm with coin since they had to bring form the kitchen to the outdoor tent.

The food was delicious, the service was perfect and it was a beautiful day overlooking the water. Glad we made reservations.

Best to request what type of outdoor seating is desired. Fresh seafood. There is beer on tap.

Covid guidance was followed and the outdoor tent was warm and inviting. The service was fine but the food was lacking.

The server was mostly fine. However when I need to ketchup, then I called her she just left the scene. Then came back and said did you call me?

Your staff was basically nice. However, the female server only came by once to asked if we needed anything. We sat for about 1.5 hours. 🤓😊🙏❤️

We had nice seating outside during a sunny day overlooking the water. The salmon was delicious, cooked to perfection and service was great. Absolutely nothing to complain about!!!

Great ambiance...once we figured out the patio heater issue.

Surprisingly good considering the distance to the kitchen and other pandemic factors. Had the spicy baked oysters (super good) and a crab cake salad (also wonderful). My only criticism is that it's way too much food although now we have leftovers for a day or two.

We had a very enjoyable evening as we celebrated my wife’s birthday. It was our first time visiting. They had very generous portions and the food tasted great!

We originally wanted to eat at Bella Siena but they were packed and didn't have any availability, so we decided to try this place.
The food was very bad and not fresh. The Lobster ravioli and fish/chips were awful, the clam chowder had little clam and the rest was basically just heavy cream, potatoes and terrible quality croutons. We ordered the largest size oysters and we received a tiny one.
The tiramisu was ridiculous, they tried to make it look fresh by adding few strawberries on top, but was obviously old and service wasn't professional.
Low class restaurant!

Excellent service, food and ambience. Really enjoyed our dinner and the hospitality. We will definitely be back again.

Had to eat outside in what was the parking lot, turned out better than I expected. My sister and nephew both enjoyed their meals, I always do.
