Sake Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi
Fresh sushi and savory cooked meals, if you're in the mood for hibachi it's entertainment + great food. If you don't want the show, they have regular seating as well... the food is just as delicious.
This was such a disappointment on Valentine's Day! Our chef didn't speak any English and didn't do any of the "tricks" that children enjoys... the whole reason we were easing Japanese Steakhouse food was for the kids. He didn't do the volcano, no train, no tossing of the egg into the hat, no throwing shrimp at my kids to catch in their mouth - NOTHING!
Also, the server ran our credit card for our tab and another person's tab... My husband was alerted before we left from AMEX on his cell phone and was able to request they cancel it and give us a receipt proving such. Without that notice from AMEX, we would have paid for someone elses bill...
Doubt we'll go back
Sake did a wonderful job taking care of our large party! Even though we had a whole room, they were able to cook on one grill so we could have our kids at on table and adults at the other and not worry about burned hands. The staff were wonderful and patient!

Was very open which was a nice change for most hibachi places we go. They accommodated our large crowd really well. There was somehow still confusion about how many people were coming even after confirming with OT and calling the restaurant directly - thankfully they happened to have an open room and got us seated and served quickly. All in all it was a great experience!
Worst experience ever! Will never go back! Had a reservation at 6:15pm and at 8:00pm still had no good. Walked out and will never go back!
Celebrated another birthday here- The staff is great, the food is great and everyone has fun.
This has always been a fav of ours. But the last couple of times it’s been downhill. Our cook was not into it and didn’t put on the show. He forgot a whole course, the vegetables, and had to be reminded. It was over all just sad :(
been here several times and the chef did not seem very interested in the show. I am not even sure that the chef spot English or Japanese as he did not respond when I spoke either to him. The chef seemed like he was going thru the motions and not really excited about his job.
Went on Christmas Eve -- had reservations but they didn't have us on list. Long waiting line; but showed my confirmation and they got us in. The wait staff was nice and friendly; accommodated our needs. My only complaint is that there was cold air blowing on us. We didn't say anything because we just put our coats on. The hibachi chef could have been a bit more entertaining and interactive; but all in all - it was fine.
Fun for groups!!!
The cook was unprofessional and didn’t cater to my order and they gave us an attitude. They rushed us in the door and made us feel very uncomfortable. The cook did not portion the food correctly and gave out food before giving the full serving to those who ordered it.
They accommodate my 15+work group. We had fun and the food was delicious!

Our table was ready when the first (early) part of our group arrived - host was very accommodating as a couple from our party were a little late. We seated immediately. Server was attentive and timely. The Chef, Joel was entertaining and energetic, serving all to their preferences. My wife and I "split" a dinner for the $6.95 upcharge, and it makes for a Great Value. It was my youngest son's 20th Birthday, and Sake made him feel special.
-> Our family has frequented Sake for 15 years or so, and this was a very good visit. Party of 8, at hibachi, teppanyaki. Sushi rolls were average/good; the tuna and eel nigiri were great.
Just Don’t Do it!!! It’s not good and too expensive.
Made a reservation for Sake days before arriving for dinner with a party of 13. The entire group showed up at the reservation time and we were told that it was over a 2 hour wait WITH our reservation!! The hostess had the “oh well” attitude and did not even apologize and walked away leaving us standing there. Worst customer service ever!! Would not recommended to anyone!
Made reservation and still had to wait 45 mins for table. Service was awful (they were way too overwhelmed) and our orders were mistaken, one member of our party’s food arrived 35 mins after everyone else due to waitress forgetting to put it in, and then the next day, our entire party was very ill. The service left us so upset and to leave sick was insane. Honestly, i am still so upset about this experience that I don’t plan on going back.
As a family we enjoy Sake. It is always a great meal and a good time.
Hibachi was just ok.... better alternatives out there but this place a lower price alternative I guess....
Our chef was awesome, so fun for my kids. My husband and I got to enjoy a yummy meal, too!

We had to request my water three times before they finally brought it. The food was mediocre, and the restaurant was extremely hot.
The restaurant is a nice and clean place. However, the service was a bit slow, but I am not sure if they were a little short on staff because they were busy and it was a Saturday night. We ate hibachi and the hibachi chef did an excellent job and he was a very entertaining chef.

Good sushi; good teppanyaki; GREAT fun with Mr. Black our hibachi chef. The drinks and all-around service was great. We have been irregular/seasonal visitors for many years, and it's always great to come back to a "trusted friend". - - This was a belated Father's Day dinner (weeknight), party of seven.

Very good sushi. Had it as an appetizer while dining at the grill table. The ingredients brought to the table looked very fresh and of better quality than you usually see at a hibachi table.

It took awhile to get a chef to our grill. Once we did, Mr Black was very entertaining. Food was very good but the portions were not very large. I wrote it was a birthday on the reservation but it was never celebrated.
When it comes to Sake Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi, chaos reigns. Overwhelmed staff, disorganized processes and disappointing food comes from a place that, frankly, I'm surprised meets Open Table's standards.
