We’ve been a few times to Sally’s after a movie in Stamford. The service (and the time to be seated) is preposterous. Too many servers walking around aimlessly, many open tables, like everyone working is high or something. This time we were seated easily. Good. Air conditioner is broken so they have a clunky unit inside, not great but fine. Order drinks…5-6 servers just walking around. With blank stares, no drinks. (We got wine…easy enough to pour a glass…and it wasn’t that busy). Main courses come before apps. Not great. Fine. Brussel sprouts burned on outside, raw on inside. Pizza is good. Pasta is not great. Salad fine. Bill: 170 dollars. 1. Hire a reasonable manager. I’ve seen larger restaurants with fewer servers that operate better. You make most your money on drinks. If y you don’t, you should. Waiting 15 min for someone to pour a glass or wine means you don’t like making money. 2. Either remove everything other than pizza from menu or taste the food coming out. It’s not worth the price. 3. Seat people in empty seats. Serve them drinks when they order them. If you aren’t serving drinks, go to bar and bring drinks or bring out food. Go to any other bar or restaurant if you need examples.

Very busy for a Monday night. Food was fine but service was very slow, maybe not enough help? Seemed to be some confusion at one point who was supposed to be waiting on our table but very long wait for drinks and food.

Overall the experience was good for a lunch reservation. The waiter was definitely friendly however it just felt a long time for the check-in to get the check. It took some time which felt forever when we arrived. The hosts asked if we prefer inside or outdoors and explained that indoors, but by the window to see outside will be best the hostess decided to just set us outside when there was all of a sudden high winds and no one came to check in on us. I would go back, but I will not sit outside. I would only ask for inside the common courtesy during that time in the wind was going on for 15 minutes again it’s mother nature, but just common courtesy. We ordered our appetizer drinks and pizza all at once and it still took a two hour sit down. There was four of us with one large pizza two appetizers and four drinks for a two hour service. I’ve been other restaurants with a much larger guest number and way much more food to be cooked and served. I won’t put this as a top priority to go back as a family but a maybe if I feel like waiting and risking of a long service but want to have a good pizza/appetizers.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. Food was a little over priced for Pizza, sauce was too spicy and although the music was good, it was intolerably loud. Our group could not hear each other speaking. It was ridiculous.

It was an amazing food experience! Great ingredients that came together to make spectacular pizzas! Kudos to the staff for the attention and free salad when they were having problems in the kitchen which delayed our pizza order. Highly recommend!
