I was looking for something swanky and upscale that could really hit the spot for a Friday night lady date to kick start the weekend. This place did not disappoint. But a few things of note that we didn’t love: the location we got seated in was sort of dark and all the way in the back, although the privacy was nice and they switched waitresses on us right after they took our drink orders. Other than that, the food and drinks were seriously to die for. I will definitely be back!

This was a great experience! Drinks were well made and unique. And the food tasted amazing. Well worth the cost. We went to celebrate a birthday and were recommended a great dessert that we loved. The staff was very knowledgeable and checked in with us often but not too much. Will definitely go back.

The noise level isn’t their fault. Blame Covid. But the staff and food was excellent. We had Ashley as our server and she was one of the best we’ve had.

Love this place. It’s my favorite in Plymouth but the food wasn’t as good as usual and the staff seemed to be constantly in a hurry.

First visit to Salt and it was excellent- innovative tapas menu, amazing craft cocktails, and our server was soooo good!!!

Our first time dining here did not disappoint! Started with a craft cocktail for me glass of wine for my husband, the cocktail was great. Pork dumplings and tuna tostado for apps were delicious. I tried the halibut as an entree, my husband had duck ramen, and we had a miso chocolate dessert. Everything was fantastic and I can't wait to return. The service was also excellent!

Huge disappointment. Over priced, mediocre food. Food service was terrible, we waited over 2.5 hours for our food! We were seated for our reservation at 7:30, ordered shortly thereafter and didn’t get food until 9:45. When the food came out only 3 of 4 of us were served, awkward and ridiculous. Never going here again. Do yourself a favor and just order take our from your favorite Japanese restaurant instead!

We have enjoyed Salt on many prior occasions so it was an easy choice for dinner with another couple this past Saturday night. I made reservations and asked for a specific table which was a mistake. As Salt does not have a time limit on their tables our table was not ready until approximately 7:30pm, half hour later then the reservation. Not their fault and we were given a free round of their delicious drinks as an apology but I would make the suggestion to place a time limit on the tables of two hours during this virus time.
Food was excellent as always, from the King crab, to the Dan Dan noodles, to the Duxbury oysters. Unfortunately one of our dinner companions ordered the Land & Sea which comprised an 8oz filet mignon and shrimp. They ran out of it which was disappointing. Service was inconsistent this night, attentive but inconsistent.
One thing diners who have never visited before should know, everything is made to order so it will take some time between dishes. This is what makes Salt fun, ordering small plates and having the food just keep coming until your full. Our dinner companions seemed to enjoy their meals as well. We had a very nice time again. Salt is our favorite restaurant in Plymouth.

The prices you are paying for the food I expect to get a wow factor. I expect tasty food not what we had. We won’t be going back again.

The absolute best meal we've had since COVID started and restaurants faced so many new challenges. Awesome outdoor seating options with ample heat. Outstanding, attentive service. Our meal was spectacular and close to perfect. Thank you for such a lovely evening:)

Had dinner Saturday night 9/26 and it took over an hour to get our appetizers. It took another 45 minutes to get out ramen bowls after that. I ordered the pork ramen bowl and they gave me the spicy beef one which I ate anyways because I couldn’t possibly wait any longer for the correct food. My date got the sweet and sour chicken ramen bowl and it came without chicken. They apps were great but they were clearly too busy and overwhelmed because everything took wayyy too long and they completely screwed up the dinner

Booked two days in advance, texted confirmed, and called day of to confirm, went there for a date, and they tried to stick us at a high top table in a back corner room. They had no outdoor seating for the remainder of the evening. We ended up a room by ourselves which eventually became crowded and quite loud. It was lame.

You want great food and fantastic drinks in Plymouth, MA? Go to Salt. Seriously, I've yet to find ANY restaurant within 50 miles that makes the quality food and drinks that Salt does. We hit here at least every 3-4 weeks. The staff knows us both and know what we want to start with and everyone from the server to the head of house and Manager all greet us like family. It's not terribly expensive, it's just great food.

SALT serves the best oysters- no bits of shell left in, completely detached from shell so easy to eat, not too big or chewy- perfect. The shrimp cocktail are the size of small lobster tails. The lobster scallion pancake was a little messy to eat, but great flavor. Sat on the terrace in back- perfect night.

We always love the meals!! The staff and chef will go out of they way to accommodate you. Everyone we have invited have love Salt as well!!
