Salt Rock Grill is a legendary beach landmark that has a burning passion for delectable food, enticing drink & pleasurable surroundings. Known for our hand cut U.S.D.A prime & choice grade beef, fresh dayboat caught seafood, raw bar & amazing wine cellar. Salt Rock Grill is the perfect choice for an evening of fine dining, superior service & genuine hospitality. Located in Indian Shores overlooking the intra-coastal waterway.
Our Steaks are U.S.D.A. Prime or Choice Grade Beef from top midwestern feeders. We age them four to six weeks in our in-house temperature controlled aging room to develop maximum flavor and tenderness. Then we grill them over our charcoal pit fire. You won't find a better steak. Our chefs have developed partnerships with local fisherman that provide us with fresh dayboat caught seafood selections from our gulf waters and beyond.

We booked a reservation for 7:30 arrived early and everything and still had to wait 30 minutes for a table, they don’t have a proper waiting area so you just stand in the main entrance where all the traffic builds up it was very frustrating. After being seated we asked for several bottles of wine in which we were told they either didn’t have or didn’t carry anymore and we were also told that the menu page was years old and hadn’t been updated. I just don’t see how you could go years without updating your menu especially when the prices are as high as they are. The food was so mid I wasn’t impressed the truffle Mac and cheese tasted like nothing but truffle oil the sea bass was overcooked and just not good we tried to order a lobster tail with our dinner and were told they were out even though it’s advertised all over the menu we then compromised and ordered a skewer of scallops for $24 we were brought out shrimp instead we alerted the server who told us the simple mistake would be fixed asap however 30 minutes later still so scallops so I instructed him to just cancel them as the rest of our meal just wasn’t worth eating. I do not recommend this restaurant for anything honestly terrible food terrible service and way too high of prices for mediocre quality

Excellent service by Noah and the food was all amazing. Steaks were cooked well and loved the Berries & Bubbles cocktail. Only complaint was noise level but it was packed.

We had a very nice experience our service was excellent the food was moderately priced and very good. Only wished we had gotten a window table which I asked for through or open table reservations but we were seated next the the back wall it was ok but we did enjoy our dinner. Oh and our waiter was Sean he was awesome and very attentive and a pleasure to speak with.

the service was excellent and the food was prepared well, mashed potatoes were not hot to the taste nor the baked potato , the atmosphere was very good!

So glad we got a referral from our hotel to this place. We ate early because of plans afterwards - had 4:00 reservation and by 3:55, the parking lot was full and the line out the door!! EARLY DINNERS is what it is called! What a fantastic concept - all the great dishes, slightly smaller versions, discounted price, absolutely DELICIOUS with everything! Our server, David, (actually LEAD server!!) was the best ever. Knew his stuff, great recommendations, very friendly. Beautiful place - sit on the patio - what a view! Whether you try this Early Dinner concept, come for drinks and apps or full course dinner, there is NO wrong choice with Salt Rock! Wish they would come to south Fla!!
