   My husband and I ordered the scallops roumelode (sp). Both were warm at best, certainly not hot. I ate mine because I was very hungry. My husband ate the naan bread. Our 2 guests had no issues with their meals. My husband ordered Key Lime Pie for dessert. The crust was frozen solid. He couldn't eat it or even break off a piece with his fork. It was a really disappointing.

   Date night was perfect. I booked through OpenTable, included a drink and appy request in the comments box, and was greeted by friendly staff who had our tuna nachos, Big Dog and glass of wine waiting for us upon arrival. The server was exceptional from start to finish, and quality checked at second sip and nibbles. Bravo Salty’s… we will be back soon. PS the vegan menu is excellent!

   We have been there before and would give it high reviews. However on this visit a young hockey team was seated behind us therefore it was really noisy. We asked to move outside which was good for about 10 minutes until 8 of the hockey players came outside to play with the fire (unsupervised). We were worried they would catch on fire (luckily they didn’t) . Hope they won their games as they had a lot of energy. I think in future management should seat teams in the outside heated area and turn the fire off.

    Butter Chicken is back on the menu - my favourite dish at Salty's. Their Key Lime Pie is the best of all the restaurants we have had this dessert in Canada or the States.

    Our second time in a week, I'm in love with the Tuna Nachos! The food was great - delicious, fast and fresh. Service was also excellent, 2 different servers, both great. We will definitely be back. I plan on eating there whenever I find myself in Penticton.

    Always a favorite spot of ours! Happy hour prices are amazing! Fisherman’s pot is something we go back for, service was prompt, and we will definitely be back.

    Excellent service but fish cakes were VERY greasy and over seasoned. The fish tacos were tasty but all of the food items we ordered (including the tuna salad my husband had (can't remember the name of it) had the same spicy mayo on it. Seats near the door make for a chilly dining experience at this time of year. Made a reservation for my husband's birthday (and added the info to the reservation) but no acknowledgement of him or the event, nor an offer of dessert. Overall, it was a 3/5 experience this time around.

    4-5 menu selections were ‘out’… knowing they were going to be busy before a concert in town that’s being held 4 blocks away there’s no excuse. Our 2nd and third choices off the menu were average at best. $19.75 +tax for a glass of quails gate wine is absolutely ridiculous. Anyways… other than the nice server there was nothing to bring us back!

    K'lyn, our hostess waitress was attentive, professional and lots of fun! The delicious food arrived quickly. After such a great time, I would totally recommend Saltys to friends! A memorable experience.

    We go to Saltys for the seafood, it is the best there. Unfortunately their oven was broken and they were not offering some of the items. One being the Salmon which is what I was going to have. My husband had the fisherman's pot which is always very good. I had the sirloin steak and it was underwhelming, it tasted good, was a bit over done and the plate was a bit lacking over all. The service was excellent and they have a great selection of wine and beer! Overall 4*

    Saltys was a great choice, they got me in early for my reservation, and the kitchen was fairly quick with really good food. The server was on point with check-ins, and helpful wtih menu selection.

    I come here once a week. Oven has been down multiple times now. Maintenance is definitely an issue as they have lights out all over the place. Including our booth!! Asked them to look at the light. They never updated me. Food usually good. Cold this time. Too bad. Things slipping a lot here. Good reputation can only take you so far.

    Outside was too windy and cold so we asked to be moved inside. Very noisey and it was only 5:30. We are a retired couple, so I think it would be great for the younger crowd. We always eat outside and that is great in the warmer weather. This was our first time inside.

    Lovely staff and good view of the lake but the food not up to par. I had a sitloinsteak that was half decent had a unknown texture , the fries where to dry and way to much salt,the asparagus where quite good. Overall this meal did not match the reviews that convinced me to go there. Excellent service and smile from Hannah

    All 6 of us were satisfied/pleased with our meals except for the oysters in the shell. For the price $39 for a dozen those of us who had them were disappointed with the very small size of a majority of the actual oyster.

    The seafood bisque was wonderful but the fish tacos left lots to be desired. The fish was mushy and there was little discernable taste of guacamole. I've had good meals here before and will return but will not buy the tacos.

    Mai Tai was awesome - like the Monkey Pod in Maui. Vegan poke bowl was delicious and had so much variety and was very nicely set up . Liked having the fire gas fireplace for the ambience. Server was very friendly and attentive . We will be back!

    Excellent flavor and great food. Our server didnt give us the 2-5 happy hour specials at all, didnt refill our drinks. Not very impressed. $180 bill and I doubt id ever go back.

    It was so so. I booked a reservation a few before and was given 2 times available. 11:30 am or 11:45 am. The place was empty. The music was so loud. Not energetic. Just loud. Loved our server. Had to sit at one of the high tables. Not comfy.
