Restaurant was not packed (we did have a res and were seated within 10 min of arriving) Appetizers arrived in reasonable time- Brussel sprouts were good- ceviche was awful- watered down and tasteless Well after apps arrived- had to flag down the waitress to order mains. They took 30-45 min to arrive. Mahi sandwich was ok and shrimp tacos were ok- neither blackened (or spiced) as advertised. Jerk chicken bowl- chicken was underseasoned and NOT blackened. The fries (both regular and sweet potato) were good, and smash burger was good. Overall NOT worth the $120 (no alcohol) Will NOT be going back

The venue is beautiful when you walk inside. Quiet and peaceful like. The food was amazing but the portions are small.

The Sandbar is ok. They have a limited menu but the view of the beach is nice. The drinks are weak. You have to add a sidecar to taste the liquor. I am glad I went but we won’t be back.

Had breakfast here with a friend. Love the venue, the service, and the mimosas. Great view as well! And had a lovely time. The food itself was meh. Had their variation of Eggs Benedict with potatoes. Great concept, but poor execution: soggy English muffin and potatoes may have been sitting for a while. I'll come back for the ambiance and drinks, but they need to work on the food.

I made reservations at the Sandbar located inside the Springhill Hotel Marriott at Jacksonville Beach in April for Mother’s Day, May 10 , for a party of 8 for 2 pm. We arrived at 1:50 pm and was greeted by this very nice young hostess named Grace. She told us our table would be ready in about 10 minutes and if we would like to order a drink at the bar she would let us know when the table would be ready. We headed to the bar and the bartender Jesus greeted us with a big smile. We all ordered a drink and was told that the brunch menu was the only option until 3 pm, after that we could order off the regular menu. Well it was 2:20 pm so we all decided to wait until 3 pm. So glad we did. The food was excellent as well as the service. We will definitely be back again. Thanks to the all the employees who made our Mother’s Day even more special.
