Santiago & Macarena

I just went to their new location near Parque Juarez with local friends and loved the experience. The outdoor patio was very attractive, the service was great and the food was really outstanding. I had one of the best meals that I have had recently in San Miguel. I highly recommend the exprience and can't wait to go back!

The food, attention to detail and the personal attention of the owners make this restaurant a great dining experience.

It is definitely one of the best restaurants in San Miguel de Allende (which is no small feat). Unbeatable location (in the Center, yet away from the tourist’s crowds), a well-diversified menu and great food prepared by the talented couple of young chefs Santiago and Macarena Hiriart.

El restaurante se acaba de mudar a una nueva ubicación, les recomendamos seguir la ubicación de open table. Está en una terraza muy linda, con un nivel de ruido bajo. La comida es excelente, con porciones pequeñas estilo francés. La atención es muy buena, Macarena nos recibió y estuvo muy atenta durante toda la comida. Definitivamente recomendable.

Our Anniversary dinner wasn’t memorable. Our drinks arrived after the appetizers, the food was good but not exceptional and there was no acknowledgment that this was a special occasion. We have had many wonderful meals here in SMA and are foodies. Unfortunately, we probably won’t be back since we have many other excellent options.
