Extremely friendly staff, rooftop had a superb view of the city, and pizza was delectable as always.

Bland food which was overpriced and seemed to value brand over substance.

Best pizza in Melbourne!
Love returning here for great food. The wine selection is excellent too. Unfortunately we were placed near a speaker, so noise levels were not that great. It was hard to have a conversation without shouting.

The restaurant did not handle heat very well. The aircon was said to be on but my friends and I were very uncomfortably hot sitting inside and ate quickly so that we could leave. We were also disappointed with such a high surcharge on sundays = 10%. Overall food was great, just the experience wasn't.

We were placed on the rooftop, on a day of 31o, without any shelter or umbrella. We couldn’t find the egg in the Caesar salad we ordered, until we realised it had been grated on top ???
Very stingy on the bacon as well. We had a new staff member who when I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc replied seven what ???? Unimpressed??? Yes so much so we didn’t leave a tip.

Birthday dinner

Food was good, very hot upstairs they needed some fans. Sunday surcharge a bit steep especially as we weren't told about it.

Great rooftop location. Food was tasty with prompt delivery and great service. Good weather on the day was a fortunate addition to a lovely afternoon

Nearly all the cos leaves in the Caesar salad had brown on the stems and edges. It was covered in mayonnaise and not much else. I noticed my colleague's was similar.

We were seated up on the rooftop when lo, and behold, Melbourne flipped the weather and there was a downpour. Staff were very efficient with moving everyone inside and finding seating for all. The pizza was amazing and staff were very friendly.

pasta was very dry, both the past and our pizza was very over priced for what it was same as the chips although they were delicious

Overall the experience was very good. It got a little cold on the rooftop but not uncomfortable! Food was great and the service was great the whole night!

Only complain is the price given $30 for a pizza seems overpriced BUT great quality food and view on the rooftop.

Would go there again but not as often given we spent $150 for 2 pizzas, a salad and a mid priced wine

Amazing pizza!! Absolutely delicious. Service was very slow but they were extremely busy and seemed short staff. Staff were very friendly and were as attentive as possible. Will 100% be back. Thank you!

Thank you for accommodating us early on the rooftop on Wednesday evening as I got time wrong & for organising the lovely impromptu birthday cocktail with sparklers and song for my daughter. All the staff were divine.💕

Lovely rooftop aspect. The lunch menu was limited with several options unavailable. Unless you wanted pizza.
The low rating was the inconvenience of not being able to split the bill.
During Covid, we are not using cash so that did cause annoying complications for our party when paying. On a positive note, I did appreciate the booking system and not being required to place a deposit.

Loved the food, the vibe and the customer service!

Great venue and we were lucky enough to be on the rooftop however I booked and let them know it was a birthday occasion and we were put on a wobbly high table in the corner by the toilet when there were larger tables available on our arrival. Not enough room to put the plates on for dinner and was a constant juggling battle. Food was excellent but cocktails over priced and not worth the money. Will return but be more selective in ordering.

Make sure you ring up and specifically ask for a rooftop table because I booked online 2 weeks beforehand for the rooftop for 10 people and my rooftop request wasn't given. We were made to sit inside in a room by itself on the middle level which was quite disappointing.

The entree’s were amazing, but the pizza’s were a bit soggy in the middle, it was hard to eat without the pizza flopping everywhere.

I ordered the crab spaghetti and there was not a single bit of crab in the dish! I asked the waitress to check my order as it looked very different from instagram. She came back and told me their recipe had changed.....definitely not worth $35 very disappointing.

Food was delicious, the pizzas are great. Santoni was very accommodating and moved us from outside (in the rain) to a table inside.

The night was cold and rainy, and a lot of the customers were freezing on the rooftop. Thankfully we got a sheltered seat.

The staff on the rooftop were very accomodating and attentive.

I’ve been to Santoni a few times, however I was a little disappointed after my recent visit this week. I understand restaurants had just opened again after the ease of COVID restrictions, however the food was quite disappointing and the service too. Staff were friendly and pleasant, however they seemed disorganised and we had to wait 10 minutes after our food was delivered for cutlery to be given to us which meant our food was cold by the time we ate it. I’m also aware restaurants want to accommodate as many people as possible, however the table we were given was extremely small for three people and we could not fit our food, drinks and cutlery on it.

Food was great, service was patchy, got given a wine glass for champagne and then a dirty glass with lipstick stains - was really annoyed at the $40 surcharge which was not disclosed when booking. It appears the venue was trying to recoup from diners because there were restriction on numbers. Considering it wasnt full, it felt like price gouging
