Amazing food everytime we've been there! Our favorite Thai restaurant in MSP.
Typically really like their food — it was very average this time. Not very flavorful.
Delicious pad Thai! They offer a happy hour special that we took advantage of. Service was very good.

Sawatdee St Paul serves delicious, fresh, flavorful food consistently. Due to Covid-19, the dining experience is more utilitarian than warm &cozy. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful, and stopped to check on us a few times during our meal. It is a good place to go for Thai food when you're in downtown StPaul.

The food was wonderful! Kaitlin, our server was outstanding! She was friendly, funny, personable and made some great recommendations!
I was looking forward to going here for years ! Kinda birthday - one day after. Inside I did not want to sit so we sat outside. Many sirens (police) - not threatening but loud. No beer on tap....lines dirty ! Very average food but our waiter was great. Much much prefer Pad Thai (near Hamline) !

They did not have record of our Open Table reservation. No problem because we were the only people there at 7:00 Sat.
The server was very friendly. That was the highlight of the evening.

The egg rolls were not the usual crispy thin Thai egg rolls we are used to ( at Supatra and Thai Garden)
There was a long wait for food even though we were the only customers.
My seafood combo ( $24) was too spicy and the seafood was not good. There was a hidden shell that cut the back of my throat. I ordered Medium but it was much hotter than the medium fishes ordered by my companions. The 2 scallops were good. The veggies were last prime and dry.
My companions food was OK. Beef was tough but Massaman chicken curry was good.
Many years ago we frequented the Sawatdee in Lowertown . This is not the same.
Great service by Dyami, he was most helpful and kind to everyone in my party! Food was prepared as advertised on the menu, and everything was tasty!
Food and service was great. Our booth needed some maintenance work.
The back padding was loose on the wall and the bench was saggy.
I love the food and all. However, during my experience, we encountered a problem booking through Open table that our reservation wasn't placed. I have not known if I didn't check with them ahead of time. They took care of this right away and we enjoyed every second we was there.
