My family and I was in town to see the witch attractions, and decided to have lunch while in the city of Salem. So we looked at this place and was not disappointed, the food was amazing and so was the drinks. THIS IS A MUST COME BACK!!

Sea Level is consistently great when dining at their restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. You can always swap out sides if need be when there, but they do not accommodate those requests when getting takeout, which is a bummer as we'd order takeout much more if they did. In the restaurant, we felt safe. This last time we went, there was a sign at the door to seat ourselves where comfortable so we chose a table near the bar that wasn't close to other people.

Sea Level made us feel safe- tables were spaced out, cleaned after each use. Regardless of the weird year, we got a tiny semblance of the old times with wonderful staff, an attentive host, and absolutely delicious food.
As the weather worsens we hope to support them by ordering takeout!

As usual! It was great!

The oysters were phenomenal, as well as the mussels Provençal. Everything was fairly priced and the beer selection was impeccable. As far as service, it was equally great! Our waiter was even nice enough to comp our last drink. Overall, this was an awesome experience and I cannot wait to get back there soon.

Great food bit pricey but then again I’m from southern Georgia so it’s prob normal here. Service was great and the amount of great food omg.

We were seated pretty quickly, but after that, we waited for a good 15 min and I finally had to find someone and let them know nobody has hoped us yet at our table. Someone finally came over and took our orders, but the food was over cooked. The drinks were great though! It was quite an expensive meal and don't think we should have been charged that, due to the service and quality of food.

It was so yummy! It was our first stop in our trip to Salem. We’ve never had oysters before (sadly) and our waitress was so helpful with her suggestions. EVERYTHING was amazing! It felt like a normal dining experience despite what’s going on right now. Beautiful sights on the marina, amazing foods and great service!

I’ve been to Sea Level and they never disappoint! We had lunch today here it was excellent as always! I think they should keep the halibut with mango salsa sandwich on the menu full-time not just as a special.

Such a cute oyster bar located right on the water! We walked from downtown Salem and avoided the crazy October crowds. Our waiter was charming, attentive and knowledgeable, lobster roll was packed with chunky bites of lobster, husband’s mahi-mahi tacos were delicious. Definitely a needed stop if you are looking for authentic local.

The lobster mac and cheese was amazing! Pretty views, strong drinks and great service.

Clam chowder and lobster roll were delicious. The oysters fresh and full of flavor. Kenny, our server, was very attentive and kind.

Had a great time early dinner with a good friend, service was great, always have enjoyed good food and service there. My favorite dinner destination in Salem.

Great oysters, and the fish tacos were amazing (and gluten-free). The upstairs deck has a roof over it, and plastic sides -- we unzipped the side nearest our table and got a good breeze, as we really wanted to eat outside for virus concerns. The server was very attentive, and the food was excellent.

Dollar oysters and great service! We'll be back next week!

Lobster roll not that great for my taste, too much seasoning in the lobster. The chowder was good, pretty place for a nice lunch.

The waitstaff was friendly and helpful, The food was outstanding. The ambiance was perfect on a beautiful night overlooking the wharf. I would highly recommend this location and plan on returning soon. Thanks

Our server, Leo was fantastic. Personable, knew his stuff, and made the whole experience that much better.

The actual beer menu was missing the ones I wanted based on their website. And the bourbon selection had not top shelf.
Food was just okay.
And we went there for the view of the water but instead they had plastic over the openings so it really distorted the everything outside.
We won't go back and we have other restaurants in our town we prefer at the same or lower price.

Love their lobster rolls! I went back twice in the same weekend to enjoy.

The food was excellent and our server was delightful. Seafood pie over mashed potatoes was fresh and loved the sherry cream sauce. Steak was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. We had Wellfleet oysters to start and they were delicious and sweet. First time there and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

Great service! The food was delicious and the drinks were a bit “light” otherwise was a great visit and would go back for sure.

Great view, food and cocktails were great.,screaming kids scrapping chairs and tables during table set up behind us was nerve wrecking. Then a stack of dishes were dropped right behind us. 🤯
We were told by one of the folks setting up the table that it was a busy restaurant so this is to be expected.
This was not the relaxing birthday celebration that I was hoping for.

I had made reservations for Sea Level in Salem for a Saturday at 5:15p. We walked in at 5:00 to a very empty restaurant and the hostess told us she was going to see if our table was available. After about 4 minutes of checking the table, she comes back and seats us. We sat for over 15 minutes and not once did someone come over to us. Not to bring us water, not to take our order. At about the 20 minute waiting mark, a table that was just sat behind us was already offered drinks. We got up immediately and left the restaurant. On our way our, two people, one of whom was the girl who JUST sat us said "Have a good night". I have never experienced anything like this in a restaurant. If the place was packed with people and it was busy, I could possibly understand. But there was maybe a total of 25 people in the entire restaurant, and that's being generous. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and I will not return in the future.

This is our go to place. a bit of a drive to Salem, but we have been here now almost a dozen times for special occasions. Food is always great, service too. Noise level could be lower but I'll take it for everything else.

We went on a Tuesday to celebrate a birthday. Our waiter was excellent, attentive, and very friendly. The food was horrible. My husbands tuna was very stringy and had no flavor. The seafood pie had no taste and the few pieces of seafood in it was way overdone. The seafood special of Spicy Seafood Alfredo had no spice and sauce was watery. One of our people wanted the meatloaf and they came back and said they had none, she ordered steak tips, no taste and the white ends of the asparagus were left on. We have been there many times and never had a issue. We did not say anything because we did not want to ruin my husbands birthday. I suggest you try it on a Friday or Saturday maybe it will be better.

Food was really delicious. We loved the atmosphere & the staff was great as well. I recommend this place to anyone who loves seafood!

Well worth it to stop here for great seafood. Fresh seafood, and a good beer selection.

I enjoyed my recent dining experience at Sea Level so much, I ended up booking a table there again two nights later!! Both nights, service and food were outstanding. The restaurant was far busier on Saturday night than the Thursday, so it was a good bit noisier the second time around. But the speed and level of service was still outstanding, as was the quality of the food. I've eaten at Sea Level many times on my visits to Salem and it is always a great experience. They have creative cocktails, fresh fantastic oysters & seafood, and the service is always friendly. The views can't be beat too. Love this place.

Great food and service. I had the Sesame Tuna and my boyfriend had the grilled swordfish. We also had oysters - all of it delicious!

Fun place on the water with reliable fare and a helpful staff. We've been several times and always had
a nice meal. It's noisier during the summer but enjoyable any time.

Mostly, the advantage here is in its location, which is a lovely way to be in Salem -- and fed.

We came for my sister's birthday celebration and absolutely loved Sea Level Oyster Bar! I originally had reservations elsewhere in Salem, but we decided we wanted to eat at an earlier hour and found Sea Level. I am so glad we did. The food was super delicious and fresh: especially the Mussels Provencal. One of the best parts was our waiter Caleb, who was extremely polite and accommodating. I would absolutely be back and will recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Salem!

Went for a birthday dinner, the seafood was great but one person ordered a burger and it had plastic remains from the packaging in it and didn’t have the toppings the person requested. The seafood was great but the burger was horrible and made the individual sick, and the service was less than perfect.

Friday night at 7:00pm. Busy but not overcrowded. Service was prompt and courteous, our waiter was very helpful and attentive, but not intrusive. Raw bar came out quickly and was definitely fresh. Entrees were flavorful and portion was filling with no leftovers. Atmosphere is casual/raw bar oriented. Good for date night, but not an ‘intimate’ evening (noise a little too high for that). Dessert was delicious and enough to split. Overall good evening and we’ll be back.
