The restaurant looks very nice and warming. However I did not have the best experience, there was a few issues. First of all the chairs were comfortable but kinda low. The food was just ok to be honest. I had a house salad which was decent and my daughter had the lobster bisque which tasted good but it wasn’t very hot. We had the New York strip and there was no flavor that we had to put pepper and salt on it to make it somewhat better. Our sides were the steak fries which were very good along with the green beans which had excellent flavor. Our server laureen I believe her name was, was very sweet but kinda forgetful. Overall I don’t recommend.
Natalie and Everyone at Seared is always outstanding and very friendly. You could not ask for a better experience.
My wife an I have been to this restaurant four times and we always have had a great experience. The server, Natalie, was very nice, attentive, and took care of us. The food was great as usual. Seared is an overall great place to dine at.
We had 4 great meals at Seared. Great service, great food.
Chais sit low. Definitely expensive. But all 4 of us agreeed that
to food was exceptional.
Great service but very pricey. Special event dining.
As always great food, drinks and service!
Everything was great, it was just that Friday night is not their busy business time and the restaurant was almost empty. Great service and food.
Great food loved everything. Server was wonderful. Loved the steak and Nutella desert
Very delicious food and great service. We went for restaurant week and the menu had great selections.
Great food, amazing ambiance, wonderful service, and an astounding environment for one on one or group social. You pay for what you get, and you leave without disappointment. I can't wait to go back.
Service was very good and friendly. Dining area is relatively small and seems crowded with tables close together. Food was good but seemed expensive given the ambience and variety. One order was delivered without the side ordered and by time the missing side arrived most people had finished almost 2/3 of their entrees. I don't know if the error was the kitchen or the server forgot to order it. They did comp a glass of wine for the error but I believe they should have also comped the side. Given the ambience, sports on televisions seemed out of place during dining hours, might be OK on weekends and afternoons but not dining hours, doesn't match the desired surroundings.
A very nice eve, delicious meal...our server “outstanding “
Booked this place last minute for New Years Eve. We were pleasantly surprised!!! Our server was outstanding and the food was perfect!!!! I felt it was a little pricey but will be back.
We made a reservation for Seared before a show at the United Center. It was fantastic. Servers were knowledgeable and friendly, the food was delicious, and the wine list is impressive. Higher end, dim lighting and quiet - perfect for a date. Be prepared to spend a bit, but it’s definitely worth it!
We were the only ones in the restaurant, so the service was excellent. Food was very good. I noticed a few changes to some of the menu items we had previously ordered at Shula's, unfortunately those changes weren't for the better. The prices were more for people with expense accounts. For the money, you can do better at one of the steakhouses that's not in a hotel.
Good spot for business dinner we were at a hotel conference. Food well presented and tasty.
We got ribeye steak and Chilean sea bass... steak was great, but fish not that good. Service was excellent & ambiance was fun. The Nutella Crepes dessert is also definitely worth trying
The food was really really good, one of the best steaks we’ve had in some time.
Great server. Food was excellent
The duck duet and pretzel crusted chicken were both fantastic. The prices for the food seemed very reasonable based on the quality of the food. We ordered the house Pinot Grigio, which at $16/glass seemed a bit much. Service was very good and the atmosphere top notch.
Fine dining with great service. It was a wonderful date night with our friends and we were able to enjoy many menu options at a nice price for Restaurant Week.
Seared is the definition of a Fine Dining Restaurant. The sophisticated decor, easy listening music, and great services, makes for a special dining experience.
Lovely atmosphere great service. Menu selection spectacular
Disappointed. This is a new restaurant. We are local and went for the NYE prix fix dinner. The lamb chops were overcooked while the filet was undercooked. Replacement lamb chops were then undercooked and excessively fatty. Our server was pleasant but slow, especially given there were only four other tables occupied and there were other servers. Deserts were bland and the mango ice cream seemed previously thawed and refrozen. The only positive was the quality of the meat was very good.
A bit expensive for what they serve. The Chilean Sea Bass a must. Filet was slightly over cooked so a touch dry.
Everything was outstanding when I was there. Natalie and April are fabulous in every way. They are part of what makes it so great to come to Seared.
Steak was overcooked and tasted funny. so I sent it back. Second steak was cooked as requested, but also tasted funny. I've never had a steak taste quite so weird... and an expensive one at that. Garlic fries were cold and tasted like frozen fries. Asparagus was overcooked. It also took 30 minutes-plus to get our food and another 20 minutes to get my second steak. Everybody else was done by the time my second one showed up For what it was, the food was terribly overpriced. Avoid this place. There are plenty of other good restaurants near the mall in Schaumburg. Better food. Better ambience. Significantly better value.
The food was prepared perfect and was very delicious.
We went for our anniversary--The food and the service were exemplary! The pork belly taco appetizer is excellent and unlike any you have tried before, and the duck and lamb entrees were wonderful! The ambiance was good, better after the table next to ours was cleared. We will return:)
Amazing experience by the entire staff. Kenny and April, the hostess and food server were outstanding.
Small room and we were the only ones there. Wedding party from banquet came in and dominated the bar and the service was nonexistent when that happened. The food came out cold Very small menu. The filet was nicely done. It was a one person waitstaff!
They need to add some green salads to their appetizers. Prices are a little high, but the food (mostly beef at our table) was very good. I suggest new utensils as no one in my group was able to rest their steak knife on their plate during bites - the knives kept falling off the plate. It became a game/challenge to keep the steak knife on the edge of the plate and no one won! Also, the seating was too low.
Food was good, but not at the standard that demands the price being charged. There is no Ambiance, looks like a conference room with tables and a bar, very stark. Server was attentive, but slow with food considering there were only 3 tables active. If your on an expense account with no transportation, I guess you could do worse. Otherwise, call a cab and go elsewhere.
