Seasalt - Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific
The view was amazing and the seafood platter was different to what we usually have but it was also amazing.
Mika was the perfect host to a memorable birthday dinner.
Excellent food great view friendly staff, would go again.
Great service from Mika who looked after our table of 10 people.
Fabulous food and great service from the staff. I would definitely eat here again and highly recommend the seafood platter.
We felt a bit rushed when seated. Our overall opinion was that the menu could do with more seafood offerings. The wine list was overpriced. The setting of the restaurant is lovely. Food presentation was well done with the dessert share plate a standout! I enjoyed the ling fish very much and the vegetable plate was scrumptious. My husbands steak was quite a small portion considering the price. We also felt the restaurant could have done with more staff as they were quite overworked. We would like to try the ‘locals night’ but will not rush back on a weekend night.
Was a lovely venue, food was great and staff were delightful. Would recommend it to anyone!
Seafood platter and service were amazing. Definitely recommend.
Always fantastic service with our usual waitress, all requests met, food delicious
Grabbed the local accommodation and dinner package, we waited almost an hour for our main to arrive, and that would have been longer except I complained, the nice waitress did buy us off with a free glass of wine each whilst we waited. When our meals finally arrived they were cold.
I have eaten here several times and have never had any complaints, this however was the first time we took advantage of the locals deal. Make me wonder if we were treated differently because of this?
We had to wait to finally put in our drink order, the staff were nice although not enough on the floor to cover the patrons. Food was nice however, the ambiance, service and food did not match the prices paid.
Great service and extremely obliging for our requests, which was great rather than feeling intimidated by asking. Food was delicious for the 5 at the table, promptly served. Mocktail for my daughter who cant drink alcohol looking fantastic, was delicious and well priced which is great to see as often non drinkers are forgotten at restaurants. Overall it was a great placed to dine.
Lamb shank was very dry and unappetizing
Risotto was nice but no prawns as indicated in menu
All in all we didn’t feel that it value for money
Disappointed as we went for to celebrate a special occasion
I dine here frequently and thoroughly enjoy it. There were a couple of times that we had to find someone to ask to take the dirty plates or mugs or walk them to a trolley on our own as there wasnt enough room on our table to get more. But otherwise, I love it here :)
Always a good place to eat and the usual quality service. Staff were friendly, efficient and tastefully professional.
Although I would like to be able to put the lid on a half emptied bottle of wine and take it home to finish so I won't go foul of the breathalyzer. This is the one weakness I find in eating here.
The staff are so hard working, attentive and pleasant and the food is fantastic
We will be back for our 54th wedding anniversary in October, lucky it falls on a Thursday, love a couple of nights being spoilt at the Crown Plaza
We have been to Seasalt at Crown Plaza at Terrigal before but this one was the best we have ever had.
My husband and I got the seafood platter combo for 2 for $125. We found the cold platter delicious, however the hot one was just “ok” apart from the lobster.
I also had 2 of the espresso martini’s. They were very good, however I did wait quite a while for my second drink after ordering...probably about 15min or so and started to wonder if it was coming at all.
The waitress was very nice and attentive.
Overall the food and service was pretty good, however perhaps a tad over priced.
As always, service was incredible & the food was amazing! Thank you :)
Being our second visit within 3 months was hoping for a better experience but overall very disappointing. Service was poor as was the quality of food ordered. The seafood risotto was gluggy with 2 over cooked prawns and 3 empty mussel shells. At $37 extremely poor value for money.
Waited 20 minutes for coffee only to be told the machine had broken down!
Would not recommend unfortunately.
Firstly the food and location is great. Each course was well prepared and well presented. Loved that the sides were included and just the right sizing.
The service whilst enthusiastic, smiling and friendly it needs a bit of attention. Not trying to be snobby but when paying over $150 for dinner their is a few basic things you expect. Firstly the cutlery was set on the wrong side, the glass on the table was chipped, we ordered tap water but was delivered still water, the wrong wine arrived and then when the right one came it was a different vintage then the wine list showed...
Overall we still had a good night but with so many choices in Terrigal to dine at, getting the basics right can make all the difference.
Seafood platter for 2 was the best. Different to what we have had before but good. Staff were amazing
Great food, good view, good service, but lacks a little atmosphere - which is probably down t the fact that the restaurant is a large and attractive room, which feels a little like a business conference.
Beautiful location, great staff and fantastic food. Literally every type of breakfast food you have ever imagined is offered and all is delicious. Added extra is that they make you a Coffee to order on arrival and they make Omelettes to order. Without a doubt, it is the best Buffet Breakfast I have ever had with an amazing view!
Thanks for a great evening
We really enjoyed it and the seafood platter was amazing and we will come again and tell all our friends that it’s the best on the coast 🍷🍷
Very professional, warm and friendly greeting.
Lovely table & outlook (even though it was nightime)
Service all night was great - very helpful but not annoying.
Good suggestions made in relation to desert choices.
Meal was superb!
Would highly recommend this restaurant.
enjoyable experience have been a few times before.
Excellent service from staff with a beautiful view, the beach is actually light up so we could still see the waves breaking on the sand even though it was night. Our starters and main meals were just delightful and the wine list made it hard to choose. Unfortunately we were unable to manage a dessert.
Very disappointing. Food was barely lukewarm with old shriveled up potatoes. Other veggies were boring. The waitress was beautiful and gave us a complimentary dessert but the honeycomb thing was ridiculously sticky and thought it would take my crowns off.
Jade our waitress provided exceptional customer service. She came to our table numerous times to check how our dining experience was going and was able to answer any questions we had about the menu. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We'll be back for dinner again soon.
Food was beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. Lovely way to start the day
While the staff were lovely the atmosphere and food were both average.
We found the food to be really delicious but we were very appreciative of your staff (can't remember the young ladies name but she went out of her way to make sure everything that our daughter was dairy free and the chef was willing to change things for her if needed. You don't find this at many places.
Thank you again for a lovely evening.
The whole experience was fantastic well done to everyone involved thank you
Went to resteraunt for our 20th anniversary. We had the sea food platter for 2 was very good with a lot of food would recommend it to anyone. The view from resteraunt was great. Service very good.
Service was excellent, staff could not do enough for us & very friendly. Food was beautiful & view superb.
Would recommend the food and service. However on the evening of our visit the air conditioning was on so high that the temperature was extremely cold. Many of the patrons were wearing their outdoor coats. The staff appeared to be unable to do anything about it. My wife was eventually loaned a cardigan by on of the staff which was much appreciated.
The place is looking very very dated! Needs a revamp to bring it out of the 90’s.... Food was nice and service very good.
Hmmm, a mixed bag here. Biggest problem seemed to be understaffing in the dining room. No dedicated host to welcome our group (table of 6). Wandered around for a minute or two before finally approaching a staff member asking to be seated. Waitstaff seem very poorly trained. Tried shouting a drinks order across the table before asking waitperson to come closer to take my order. They had no idea who ordered what when food arrived at our table. Multiple waitstaff reached across diners to deliver food and also collect empty plates. Slow drinks service. The food was delicious, so it was a shame it was let down by poor service. My wife ordered the gnocchi for mains, but was very disappointed with the serving size. There were only nine pieces of gnocchi on the plate- more an entree serving size. When questioning the serving size, we were informed it was a very filling dish, and that there were roasted vegetable coming as a side dish, if she was still hungry. Okay, wow! Maybe it was an off night, but you can only judge by what happens during your own dining experience. I've dined in five star restaurants around the globe, so I know what constitutes good service, and what doesn't. I doubt we'll return to Seasalt unless there's a vast improvement in service standards.
