SeaSalt Henley Beach

Really cute space and I thought the service was really really good, we were checked on a few times to see if we needed anything which can be uncommon at many cafes/restaurants. 100% will be be returning!

A beautiful spot - right across from the beach. Fabulous atmosphere. Pricey but unique and complex seafood dishes. A variety of raw, grilled and sandwiched offerings. Something for everyone, but only those with rarefied seafood tastes.

Incredible service from Demi, who looked after our table. Food was fresh and delicious!

The service here was amazing. Arrived and were given blankets as it was quite chilly and our waitress was lovely. She was so friendly and prompt with her service.

The setting is lovely right on the waterfront although it needs to be nice weather to capitalize on this. It was very windy when we went so was glad we had booked inside. Unfortunately the food was only average apart from the salt and pepper squid which was very tasty, a lot of the dishes seemed like the right idea but the execution just didn’t quite hit the mark (sashimi, school prawns, snake beans).

Food was delicious! Ambience felt like we were sitting in a restaurant on a Greek island, not in Adelaide. Great service with super friendly staff. Highly recommend!

The fish and chips is over priced for what it is. The drinks and surroundings are good though.

SeaSalt is one of my wife and I’s faves. We frequent there for any special occasion and it never lets us down. Katsu Sando a must!!

Unfortunately, we were there on a cloudy windy day so it was cold and we had seat inside. Would have been nice outside otherwise with great views onto the beach. Nice food but no coffee or hot drinks available. Had the crab pasta which was nice but maybe too much chilli and bit too oily. The fish wings were nice but again just a tad too much chilli for me. Service is great!

Great fish, was very fresh! Right on the sea front so if it’s windy, try and get a seat inside. Service was fab! Recommend the fish and chips.

Our booked table wasn't available when we arrived. We sat inside with complimentary drinks while waiting for our table to free up. In the mean time they sat other people down who had walked in from the street.
I think they had forgotten about us?
After 35 minutes they sat us down at a high table, instead of a normal low table. I mention this as we had our baby with us and the highchair was so short his head was under the table where they sat us down.
The waiter also mentioned I made the booking inside and not outside.
I should have taken my phone out to show him my booking where it says what time and location but i thought i would be nice and not say anything.
After waiting another 15 min there was no service, no one had asked if we would like another drink or even given us a food menu.
After 50 minutes from arriving there we decided to leave.

An ideal location for a post swim cocktail.
The staff were helpful and friendly.
The food menu looked good but dishes were fairly basic and didn’t have a lot of flavour. Menu would also benefit from more consideration of dietary requirements.

Great restaurant right on the beach. Beautiful food. Not cheap but worth it

Disappointing food mainly I think my poor choices. Tempura prawns, were whole with heads and guts, very small more like shrimps than prawns that we expect in SA. Singapore wing fish was ok, great sauce but really hard work to get a feed. However very good service and atmosphere.

We specifically made a booking inside, but when we arrived to the restaurant the staff told us that we were seated outside. Luckily we were able to get a seat inside, however it was so windy and our food went flying every time the door was opened, very inconvenient. The food was slightly overpriced and the inside space was very small

Great lunch, consistent good quality and choices. We asked if there were gluten free options eg, the anchovy fingers and pasta. It seems surprising such options are not yet offered. Service always friendly and responsive. Thanks

The place was extremely busy. Our booked table was right by the door and all the staff were walking in and out, yet we waited almost 5 minutes before being acknowledged and told to sit down. The food was disappointing. We ordered raw chefs platter which cost $78 and we got 4 thin slices of kingfish, salmon, scallop, and some tuna tartare. This works out to about $15 for each lot of 4 slices of raw fish. It was fresh and good quality but for the price it was very underwhelming. Service was terrible, overall I wouldn’t go back as there are other places that served good quality seafood for less than this with better friendly and prompt services.

Minus: Quite expensive for the amount of food you get. Between the three of us who dined we bought 3 entree sized and 2 main sized meals. Meals were good quality but we were still kind of hungry at the end.

Was a great location and great service at restaurant but not sure I'll back due to it being expensive for the amount we got.

View ambience and food was great. The service was a bit all over the place had to keep reminding of our drinks order. I was left without a drink when our food came yet my partner got his. Was looking forward to a glass of bubbles and a raw tasting plate!

The best salt and pepper squid ever! Casual and chilled. Come in for lunch straight off the beach after a swim, or dress up a little for cocktails in the evening. What more could you want?

A great spot to watch the sunset and have a wine. Stay longer for a delicious dinner. The taramasalata dip was delicious. Also a really varied wine list, supporting Australian wines and with some interesting varietals and blends.
