A great discovery in our neighborhood. We loved the atmosphere and the super friendly Four Seasons vibe sorely missing at the Hyatt next door. The menu was interesting we will be going back soon to try other items. Farm to table is a big thing now a days and it was good to hear from our server that the chef draws weekly from the great products available locally. We started with the grilled octopus with a smokey barbecue sauce, served somewhat tepid, not sure if that was the intention, but delicious. Our entrees were a vegetarian pasta and scallops. The pasta was homemade spaghetti with wild mushrooms in a light garlic and cream sauce. The scallops were plump and sweet, however the accompanying rice was also sweet. I wished for a more savory compliment. Excellent server, knowledgeable and attentive.
In need of better trained F&B manager and staff. Several problems with how practices are allowed or disallowed. Little concern for the level of service they are trying to achieve. Menu was limited, stayed and did not show a breadth of kitchen capabilities. Very pricey for the mediocrity.
Hi Mr. Manaster, Please accept my sincerest apologies regarding your experience. It is always our goal to provide seamless execution and I am sorry that we fell so short of this. I am a firm believer that this feedback is invaluable and only leads to our improvement and I certainly appreciate you taking the time to share it. I hope we able able to connect again before you depart and thank you again for your continued ownership at our Resort. All my best, Brandon H. Director of Outlets
What a hidden gem. We are so happy that we found this place
Portions are small, quality is Ok but have had many better meals in the local area
I took a date to Seasons during Restaurant Week San Diego. The decor, ambiance, food and service were on par for what you'd expect at the Aviara Resort. The restaurant/bar is adjacent to the pool area (cool) and there was live music on the patio, which was really nice, but way too loud, making conversation difficult. Overall, a very nice experience and I'll be going back.
I think they might have changed the Chef. We go for breakfast regularly and looked forward to the breakfast specials which they haven’t had the last 2 times.
Attentive staff. We went for Sunday Paella night promotion and it was awesome. Good variety on menu and the best children’s menu.
Staff well versed with menu and knowledgeable on wine
Lovely setting and highly recommend.
Average food quality & services, over-prices, especially the $35 corkage.
Literally so good we went back 2 nights in a row... thanks Seasons Restaurant 👍
This was my first visit to Seasons and not my last. A perfect little spot for casual dining. The service was awesome! I felt our server was very attentive, social and overall a nice person.
The shrimp appetizer was so amazing we ordered a second. It was definitely different that the basic shrimp cocktail. Everything tasted delicious.
We will definitely be back.
When we arrived (with reservations) the restaurant was only about a third full. We spotted an empty booth and asked to be seated there. The hostess said they rotated tables and we could not have that empty booth, rather she wanted to give us a table in the middle of the restaurant. We then talked to the manager who said the same thing. Finally, after we were ready to walk out and go to another restaurant, we were given the booth. It is amazing that customer service comes in a poor second to their efficiency rules. Our food was very good, but pricey. Also, the cheapest red wine was $56. I know this is Aviara, but it would be very easy to get a decent wine such as J.LOHR or Josh and charge $35. Our total bill with tip for two entrees, splitting a salad and the wine was $160 - way too much for a glorified coffee shop. On the plus side, our waiter, Tommy, was one of the best waiters we have ever had - very personable and anxious to accommodate any of our requests. He gets five stars, the management side gets one!
Roomy and generally quiet. Ambiance is the best in the area. Food quality is acceptable but not exceptional.
Just another delightful meal at the four seasons residence club. We are never disappointed.
Excellent setting, food and service.
Lovely outdoor space with very good food and service. Would definitely recommend.
Quite average food, good ambiance and service. Value just not there.
Very lovely evening. Food was delicious and service was top notch. The staff went out of their way to make our evening perfect.
Going away dinner with Friends.
The Seasons is a gorgeous, yet semi-casual establishment. Our ceviche appetizer and salmon entrees were excellent in every way. We had a beautiful booth with the perfect amount of sunshine and view to their gorgeous pool. Service was great and food was delicious. The prices are a tick too high, but they are catering to their hotel guests who might not have a ton of options when wanting a normal lunch on property. We drove from downtown for lunch and had a Travelzoo voucher for $49 for two people...it still came to $50pp after tax and tip on normal amount. A bit steep, but.... If you want a fancy lunch, the food, ambiance and service won't let you down.
Appreciate the Great service, definitely FS quality, some food items on the menu have changed seasonally, some better than others but we enjoyed it. Halibut especially good and my wife enjoyed the carbonara except the egg left us feeling the chef was trying too hard. Excellent service and atmosphere we love
Great food and peaceful on patio
Nice and cozy!
Went for our anniversary dinner while staying at the hotel. Food and service were outstanding, and the ambiance is casual. Highly recommend.
Always an amazing experience! From the food prep to the service.
Great spot for brunch on a lazy Sunday afternoon, mellow music added a nice touch and decadent menu selections made for scrumptious eats! Add to that warm and friendly service and you’ve got the perfect experience!
It's wonderful to have such a comfortable restaurant with consistently good food. Kudos to Chef James!
The last few times I've visited, the place is bustling with diners. With Summer fast approaching I'm hopeful the wait staff will be embellished. Tommy is an asset and always so attentive. Many thanks for another memorable meal.
Wonderful early dinner and drinks. Staff exceptional and food options always excellent! Great local gem 👍
Service was outstanding, as usual. Marcos is super hospitable and always makes our group feel welcome and we’ll looked after.
Service very slow. Food inconsistent with last meal...
hostess not four seasons level
Great experience! Chef James is wonderful and always makes guests feel so special. Thanks for a lovely last night at the residences. See you in the fall....
Great combo of excellent food, great menu and service in typical Four Seasons fashion and we really love that its super casual! Love it! Ranks as one of our top San Diego favorites!
Very nice place, good food and service. A little expensive for the portions. The corkage fee of $35 is outrageous! Great happy hour, wine great service.
Always an A+ meal and experience.
Such a great and delicious time
The chirro waffle was the big hit for the whole family.. 👍🏽
Food was sensational and the service is even better and the room is gorgeous. The bill was over $250 w tip for a foursome and two of us were 9 year olds; so ridiculously expensive. Only one app and no salads and two of us had spaghetti and only one alcoholic drink so the prices were silly.
Great place. Beautiful indoor-outdoor space, food was delicious, and a great value. Definitely recommended.
Quality food, limited offerings during lunch. The swordfish sandwich and the turkey club both excellent. Had a coffee and croissant, croissant very good but the coffee was ok.
Average meal. The shrimp tasted fishy
Service was excellent
