Average food , slow service limited menu option for dinner

Saturday night was our first Indoor dining since March! We have enjoyed serenades take out over the past months and 2go cocktails - but decided we needed and were ready to get out. We felt so comfortable the tables were spaced out with great dividers and precautions. The waiters are so knowledgeable and friendly. The food was exquisite - we started off with the octopus and the melt in your mouth short rib tortellini appetizer - to die for! I loved the swordfish w lobster risotto - huge portion- so good. My guy had filet mignon and loved it he’s a discerning steak lover- this ranks up there w the best. We didn’t have room for dessert so we ordered it to go since it looked so good. Great vibe, excellent food much needed date night - felt like a real person again.

As always wonderful experience. Amazing food and drinks with awesome ambiance. The New Year’s Eve prefixe dinner was excellent!! Still thinking about it days later!

Bland and uninspiring food. The appetizers took forever and were served cold - we sent them away and the restaurant was kind enough to acknowledge it and replace with a new hot ones and take them of the bill. Overall, despite a hype and high reviews, we are not coming back - the food doesnt worth it.

Serenade never fails to deliver in terms of ambience, food, and service. It has always been a wonderful experience.

It felt so normal for once. Although tables were far apart the atmosphere felt busy and normal. I haven't felt this way in a while. It was refreshing. The food was delicious. I ordered tuna tartar and pork. Really excellent choices

This was our second time dining at Serenade, and once again, the food and service were excellent. We ate outside due to the pandemic, and greatly appreciated how they have transformed the parking lot into a lovely outdoor dining space with patio heaters and festive lights.

The octopus appetizer was superb, and we both enjoyed our entrees as well. The wine list is also excellent, and there are some nice selections by the glass. Even though it was a busy night with multiple birthday party celebrations, the service was outstanding once again.

We highly recommend Serenade, and will definitely return.

Serenade, one of our favorite restaurants, has set up a lovely outside dining area with heat lamps. During this pandemic, it has become a favorite outing for us.

There is no place better in this area .
Always a delight , great food , wine and service

The food was exceptional as was the service but my greeting was like warm upon arrival. I also did not appreciate our table for two being so small and in a small corner. Definitely not enough real estate for the price.

Serenade is a favorite for a special night out because almost all nice restaurants in Morris County are delicious, but Italian. Great to have something more creative and unique.

A nicely situated outside area, warmth afforded by the food, staff, and propane towers. The best Cosmo cocktail to date. Prompt and attentive. Very pleasant dining experience!

This is one of our favorite restaurants. Almost without exception, great food and outstanding service. Last night, was a modest miss. After terrific apps, I enjoyed an outstanding pork meal but my wife’s filet dish was unexpectedly bland. We’ll be back and hope for two fine meals again.

Our first visit to Serenade, and we will definitely return. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere, as well as great mindfulness of pandemic safety measures. We dined outdoors, and the patio heaters helped to take off the Fall chill in the air. Wonderful evening!

Limited menu currently but really tasty food and great service. Quiet inside with lots of space given COVID restrictions - more buzz outside on a Tuesday when we were there but getting colder so go soon.

Always a pleasure, our favorite

Went to Serenade for mom’s Birthday last year. It was a whole different experience this year. Not the quality or level of cuisine I had last year at all. The prices were still high though! Really disappointing dishes. Doubt I will go back.

Serenade has been a restaurant we've tried to eat at many time, but for one reason or another we needed to cancel the reservation. This time, we enjoyed the outdoor venue under the pandemic circumstances. The hosts and staff were very attentive and practiced safety requirements. The food was wonderful and we hope to return when the world gets back to normal.
