                                                      The service was great, and the staff was attentive. The food, however, was awful. This was a business meeting, so we're both being polite, but both of us took apart our sandwiches to eat only what was edible inside. Also, the "famous" duck fat fries were mediocre at best. They were bland with no additional flavor. I don't turn down a fry, and these were disappointing.

                                                      Have always loved the atmosphere, but the food was very mediocre, and very expensive for what you got. The waitress was very busy and probably had too many tables, but the attention to service was not great.

                                                      Chicken pot pie and Caesar Salad both great. Music trio was unexpected and great. The sax player was terrific!

                                                      The Tavern allowed a convention to have their happy hour party at the same time as people had dinner reservations. The Tavern should have been closed during that time and our reservation changed. The place was a zoo.

                                                      The restaurant was very crowded with attendees of a conference being hosted by The Brown. Nevertheless, the servers gave us equal attention and we did not feel as if if we'd been lost in the crowd!

                                                      Chairs and benches upholstery needs updated. Ripping and holes. Not upscale. Great ambiance for a casual dinner. As much as the hotel charges for rooms- they need to invest in their furniture. Food was excellent. Large portions for the price.

                                                      The waitress was nice. The restaurant was cold and the food was terrible. The shrimp cocktail was overcooked. The crab dip was spicy and too many bread crumbs. The salmon dip was good, but the bagel chips were full-size bagels that were hard as a rock and could crack your teeth. Even the clam chowder tasted like something out of a can. If the waitress hadn’t been nice and accommodating, I would’ve given this experience zero stars.
