Shiraz Bar and Restaurant
Great food and service
We were skeptical when we arrived at 6p on a Saturday night and we were the only ones there, but agreed to give it a shot, as none of us had ever been there. We weren’t familiar with Indian, Pakistani or Persian food and were anxious to learn. The food was outstanding, fresh and recommendations spot on. Our server was intuitive upon hearing our comments about the appetizers & could tell we were lightweights where spices are concerned & he advised the chef as such. Our dishes were perfectly seasoned for our tastes. I’m still puzzled that only a few other people came to enjoy dinner while we were there and truly hope that it was just a fluke. Ambience was elevated with cloth table linens & a live piano player.
We found this place by "accident" and it was FABULOUS. There is an excellent assortment of food options. Everything is prepared perfectly. The decor is amazing and the staff is very attentive and helpful. If you love Indian/Pakistani or Persian food, then Shiraz Bar and Restaurant will really please you.
Always enjoyable and an interesting combination of two different ethnic foods, Indian and Persian.
We like the quiet ( actually a restaurant where one is able to talk at the table) and beautiful décor.
Food is very tasty and good quality and our server Glen was outstanding. Ask for him.
We always order Tandoori Fish even though it isn't on the menu as we don't eat meat or chicken.
The chef prepares it for us. No problem. It is delicious. Also the crushed eggplant from the Indian Menu is a delicious vegetarian dish. Basmati Rice is also excellent. All in all a great dining experience.
Great halal restaurant with great service
We went for Restaurant Week in Las Vegas and the service was completely unexceptionable. The food was great but it took 2 hours for a 3 course meal. They got one of the main courses wrong.
Wonderful find menu is expansive something for everyone. We will put this place on our return list. A little worrisome that it was not more crowded.
Attentive service in a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. All dishes were delicious.
I was looking for a good restaurant off the strip to have dinner with some clients. OpenTable had Shiraz as one of the hot new restaurants so booked it.
When we got there at 7PM it was empty. Not many showed up after that. There was only one waiter who was also doubling as the bar tender. Service was a bit slow due to this. Ha
Having said that, the food was very good and the sole waiter was working hard to keep up with the drink and food orders.
If you are looking for good Indian or Persian food, off the strip in Vegas, I would recommend this restaurant. I hope/believe that the experience we had with only one waiter was an isolated incident.
Five of us at dinner. We ordered from both the Indian and a Persian menus and shared our entrees. Outstanding food, wine and service. Will definitely return for another meal.
Since it is a Persian restuarant, with a halal kitchen, you must ask for the alcohol drinks menu. this is not a problem just a reminder
Th bar tender was very friendly and gave great advice for wine pairing with the meal. The food was delicious. Very pretty dining room. The bar is very pretty and it has comfortable lounge seating. Very nice experience over all.
Birthday so we decided to try a vegetarian leaning place. Lots of choices. The two fish dishes were excellent. The service was prompt and professional. We’ll return.
This restaurant is a true gem. It has an unusual mix of Persian, Indian, and Pakistani food as well as a full bar. We started with one of their "long" drinks, made with Q soda, and it was particularly unique and refreshing. We chose to stick with Indian dishes on our first visit and were no disappointed. All of the food was served together (not always the case in our experience with Indian restaurants). The chicken tikka masala was tender and the sauce was fragrant with spices. The tandoori shrimp were cooked perfectly and served with sizzling onions and peppers. The eggplant dish were ordered was filled with pieces of baby eggplants that were tender and so delicious. The naan was warm and freshly baked. The service was warm and attentive, and the restaurant itself is quite attractively decorated. We can't wait to go back to try their Persian food.
Thank you so much for coming down, we really appreciate your review and look forward to having you back again soon!
Attended the Veganuary Kickoff, some food was free but we ordered more. Everything was outstanding. Great Vegan options at a decent price. Will be back!
It was our pleasure having you at the Veganuary kickoff and we are pleased to hear that you ordered other items as well. Come back again soon!
The food at Shiraz is outstanding! I love the diverse menu which includes specialties from Persian, Indian, and Pakastani cuisine.
The service was very friendly and hospitable and we felt welcome from the moment we walked in the door.
This unassuming restaurant also has an amazing beverage list with classic cocktails and a several specialty cocktails that are worth the visit alone.
Former owner of Origin India, now with an amazing bar, well stocked, and both Indian and Persian food. We did mostly Indian, great dishes to share among a group.
