Our server/bartender on Friday night was fabulous. Great personality and excellent service. Best blackened walleye in Erie. .

The location and ambience is great. The noise level is not bad, unless you get some guests who have been overly indulging at the nearby bar, which is ten feet from your table so you can hear her entire life story. The servers did their best, and were extremely kind, but there was no sense of urgency. The girl server that was working must’ve had friends there, b/c she was never on the floor, & the male server seemed to do it all himself. We waited for someone to seat us for 5 minutes just standing on the floor, and then once sat down we waited for a solid 15 minutes to have our drink orders taken. We had to ask for the bill 3 times, and I personally have over 15 years experience in the food and dining industry so we are pretty lackadaisical when it comes to service but the restaurant was not busy by any means. Our server was also the bartender so we understood the slight delay in service and he even treated us to free ice cream desserts, and was tipped over 20% because he was quite pleasant.
The food was fair at best for the price. For a $29 entree consisting of an advertised certified angus steak, a sirloin would not have been my choice. It was cooked to the requested temperature, and the fries were great, but for $29 I expected a much better cut of meat. My fiancée had the almond crusted walleye with the fried Brussels sprouts with bacon and a brown vinaigrette and it was good, just not enough food...especially for $23. Considering they got rid of their best dinner salad, the BLT, and their Gouda Mac and cheese appetizer, and a couple other things, these were not our first choices, and definitely not what we came for.
We have been here many times, and we always enjoy ourselves, but it seemed to be a perfect storm of Covid menu slicing, slow staff working, and overpriced entrees to maximize profits in an increasingly tough year for the service industry. All in all, we will go back, but we will be hesitant because of the disappointments from this last trip.

This afternoon was a wonderful experience at the Shoreline Bar and Grill at the Marriott Erie. Food and drinks were great and Christian our server was exceptional ! We will definitely return!

Great view. Salmon was a bit dry. Nothing special was offered for my birthday. Very friendly and attentive hostess and server.

The waitress made all the difference in the world! Attentive....caring....welcoming.
The meals we enjoyed were savory and delicious and the menu item "broccolini" was superb!

The menu is a bit limited however everything is very good. We had the walleye sandwich and Eric Burger. Both were excellent!

The service was great from beginning to end. Unfortunately my flat iron steak tasted like a charcoal briquette and ash... once I figured out that it was just one side and cut that side off it was much better... the walnut crusted walleye also was kind of bland. My daughter loved her cheeseburger and the side dishes were all very good. After I complained, which I hate to do, they comped my drink which was appreciated. Also, midway through our meal a group of men came in from outside and sat next to us. They were foul mouthed and very loud. We decided to finish and leave as quickly as we could. Ended up paying over $90 for 3 and walked away disappointed in our first dinner out since Covid started.

Fantastic dining experience with a gorgeous view of the bay. Not an extensive menu, but everything we ordered was delicious. Great cocktails and a lively vibe. Service was excellent and friendly. French Onion soup was tasty but a little pricey. Overall, highly recommend visiting The Shore Line. Can't wait to return to try the fresh walleye!

Really nice views, excellent food, friendly service. Great place for a nice evening. After-dinner drinks by the fire pits top it off.

Loved the atmosphere and service. Food was good. One small issue is the menu posted on Open Table is not the menu of the restaurant. But not too disappointed Enjoyed our meal.

We had a lovely evening at the Shoreline Bar and Grill. The food was delicious and our server, Jessica, was amazing. It is a beautiful place to sit outside and enjoy the fall sunset over the bay at Lake Erie. Would highly recommend!

Server was very attentive. Food came out cooked less than ordered twice, but server resolved the issue without trouble. Otherwise food was delicious.

We ate outside. It was a beautiful night overlooking the bay. Really lovely. I had the salmon and my husband had the steak. We even splurged on a very tasty dessert. Our server was wonderful...very attentive without being pushy. Great experience. We'll be back! ❤

All the reviews I read on this restaurant were good, however, the Bay Front Grille received much higher ratings. We booked one night at each restaurant and can say we were pleasantly surprised and blown away by the quality of the food at the Shoreline Bar & Grille. Food was amazing the staff was friendly and accommodating and every one was socially distanced and safe. Highly recommend this restaurant!

They did not have reservation. Was not able to eat there.

We sat outside which was awesome as the restaurant is located right in the shore of Lake Erie. Food was excellent and high recommend anyone to visit!

It was my last night in town and I wanted to take my family out to a nice restaurant. So I made a reservation for the patio at Shoreline. When I showed up, they took me to an inside table. I said I had made reservations for the patio because of the pandemic. They told me because it rained earlier that they shut the patio down. Then I asked if they had sent a message letting guests know that. She said no. She told me I could sit on the patio but would have to get food and drinks myself.

I went outside and had to flip over the chairs so that my elderly parents could sit down. Then I had to track down a person to wipe off our table. Getting drinks at the bar took forever. I got one of their speciality cocktails but it had a chemical taste to it and I had to throw it away. We ended up leaving after that to get food somewhere else because we needed someone to actually wait on us. It has a nice view of the water and that’s it. I don’t recommend this place.

It was a very pleasant meal overlooking Presque Isle Bay. Food was good. Service was exceptional.

Lovely summer view, and the staff was cheerfully managing the limitations imposed by the Governor in response to COVID-19. We were asked to keep our time at table limited to about 80 minutes, which we found more than reasonable. Cocktails were a little bit slow, but re-orders and food were prompt. We shared a burger and a turkey club, which were both hot and moist, with the "medium" burger being well done, and which we see pretty much everywhere. Sweet potato tots were awesome, as were homemade chips.
Ordered a side of mayo which caused the burger to come without its signature sauce.
Minor issues aside, it was a very pleasant experience, we were satisfied and felt a good value.

We had reservations and had to sit outside due to COVID-19, which is fine but we were sat at a table with an umbrella that did not tilt so we were sitting in direct hot sun. There was an open table with an umbrella that did tilt but they said they couldn’t move us, then sat someone there who did not have a reservation. We did not stay because we couldn’t stand the direct sun. It was my husband’s 50th birthday dinner and it was ruined. And we were actually staying in the hotel. Horrible customer service.

Family vacation

We love our dinner here! The server was super nice and the food was amazing! Better than expected. We are here for vacation and we were so happy this was our first dinner to start it a great way

We ended up inside because of the weather so it wasn’t the restaurant’s fault that they put us inside , but we ended up in a high traffic hallway with a lot of distractions, kids running around etc that stole away from the ambiance. Food and service was very good .

If you are looking for outdoor seating with a beautuful scenery of Lake Erie, this is the "PERFECT", enjoyable and relaxing place to eat!

Shoreline is by far most prestigious in Erie

Good but small portions of food for the price. Very sunny area in the afternoon and evening with not much shade provided. Wonderful view but marred by customers with dogs, who are doing their business in the grassy area in front of the restaurant. Would stay at the hotel again but eat elsewhere!

We had an overall great experience- our waitress was super friendly and helpful- our food was delicious and so was our view!

We had a fancy outing and got all dressed up! It was super nice (as always)! Macy was our server and she was kind and attentive! Will definitely be coming back! 💖
