I love Siena Tavern! Me and my boyfriend celebrated our 5 year anniversary and had the best dinner. Definitely will be back!

Wonderful food! We visited Chicago during the winter time and with limitations on sitting due to COVID-19. We decided not to do any other dining experiences during that weekend because of how cold our experience was at this restaurant. They did everything possible to make us comfortable with the outdoor sitting area and the food came out very hot which was greatly appreciated. We would love to give it another try once everything normalizes after this pandemic. We were happy we got a chance to try this restaurant for brunch and would truly recommend it.

I dined at Siena Tavern on Thursday and my experience was absolutely wonderful. The food was impeccable, I am going to get divorced so I can marry the Spaghetti. The most outstanding part was the service, Joe was very knowledgeable of the entire menu and went above and beyond to make our experience a memorable one. I’ll definitely be back.

Food was amazing, service was excellent! We were able to stay warm with outdoor seating. Spent about $75 per person with appetizer, main meal, drinks and dessert.

Call the head to make sure that the outdoor patio was covered by a tent and there were heaters at each table and the woman on the phone told us that each table had a space heater and the tents were 80% enclosed. However when we showed up our table was completely uncovered by a tent and the heater was so small and did not provide any type of warmth.
Furthermore our waiter barely gave us any attention did not explain anything on the menu when we had questions, and multiple times we had to call him over to get an order in.

Always a great experience. Every precaution taken, feels very safe during COVID.

Siena Tavern is a family favorite and I was excited to see they had "heated outdoor seating" We love the coccoli (soooo good!), squid ink pasta and orecchiette - our meal was delicious! It was a cold evening, and there were heaters throughout the space, but it was still frigid. Every restaurant with "heated outdoor seating" is different so just come prepared with warm coats, hats and gloves (maybe even bring a blanket to wrap around your legs, the chair seats are chilly to sit on) and it will be worth every chilly second of your meal!

Everything was perfect! The tent set up was comfortable temperature and open so we felt safe. The service, drinks and food were great!

I know the new rule is to eat outside, but you have to had very well outside, very cold, I have been in other Restaurant that they conditioned outside much better

Siena Tavern has a lovely outdoor dining setup right now. It was not too cold with the heat lamps they have set up, and there was plenty of space between patrons. I celebrated my birthday there and the server helped to make it extra special. The food is delicious. Highly recommended!

Bring a blanket and enjoy a 4 course tasting menu during these strange times.....Have always wanted to dine at Sienna Tavern but getting a reservation was never easy before Covid. We had an amazing meal, met the chef and the choclate cake dessert was over the top....

My meal was good. The Chitarra cacio e pepe was toothsome and had just the right amount of black pepper.
The mushroom pizza was also quite good.

Food was great and service attentive and prompt. Outdoor dining experience could use some improvements.

I used to love Siena but I feel the quality is not the same anymore. Drinks don’t seem as fresh as they used to be, and I’m referring to their numbered cocktails. Service hasn’t been as pleasant and we’ve been here plenty of times. I still love the ambiance but Siena is not my first choice anymore. I would also suggest that patios during this time are closed if it’s raining. We had to leave after one drink because we were being rained on and we didn’t have any food as planned, the experience itself was bland.

We've been here for lunch before and it was amazing! The food was spectacular and we were already looking forward to coming back for dinner. Couple of months came back to try the dinner menu, food missed the mark. Fish was dry, bruschetta was meh, salad was ok, pasta was way too el dente, they forgot our shrimp but brought it out later which wasn't a big deal. Service though was great, ambiance was wonderful. It was well-heated without being stuffy, so it was a good experience minus the food. Maybe the chef was having an off day? Who knows. But we probably wouldn't go back.
