The word superb, comes to mind when asked how the Parmigiana goes down. It’s the best thing on the menu and the only thing someone should order. I’ve had it at least 50 times and every time, it’s excellent.

Old classic the Skinny Dog (Greyhound Hotel in my younger days) is still an appealing venue for a drink and food. Staff were excellent. Guiness on tap a bonus.

Thursday Parma nights are always great, delicious selection of parma's. However the salad accompanying the parma wasn't as nice as it used to be, quite salty and too much dressing. My partner's parma wasn't cooked through at the thicker bits of the parma. Still a lovely meal.

Food was excellent and as we are currently having to wear masks it was goos to see the staff reinforcing the rules

The food is terrific, although there is a feeling of having been rushed through the meal.

Decent menu and quick, well cooked tasty food. Service was pretty average but difficult times forneveryone so fair enough!

The food was apalling. I had the veal it was so thick and tough I could barely cut it and left more than half my meal. Sorry but it was terrible

Good honest food... the service was very rusty, got one meal total wrong , two meals came out ... then a 10 min wait for the rest ... Happy to make exceptions after such a long break after COVID.

Had to choose Hanger Special steak as no eye fillet available, was VERY underdone, I had ordered medium.....not edible for me BUT it didn't spoil my night with friends

Relaxed atmosphere. Good quality food and service. Did not feel rushed.

Staff were very accomodating with our requests for adjustments to our booking and seating. Very courteous and respectful, even when they were clearly extremely busy.

If you have a large booking during COVID, you'll need to order quickly if you want to grab dessert. Venue sittings are for 1.5hrs only which isn't enough time to have entree, main & dessert for more than 5 people. Ideal time would be 2hrs for more than 5x people.

Given the Covid restrictions Skinny Dog outdoor area is a great option. Protected from the wind and with some atmosphere a great option for a casual meal with family or friends. Staff doing a great job given all the adjustments that a necessary to keep us all safe.

A lunch at The Skinny Dog is a great way to celebrate post Covid blues. Cold beers, good food and service. The Parma is a ridiculous size, but two of our party fought their way through them. Fish and chips just ok, maybe have the calamari instead.

We had a pleasant dining experience despite Covid restrictions. We came for their famous chicken Parma which was delicious with crunchy fat chips.

Food and the selection of tap beer was great. Would definitely come back.
