We haven’t dined out in months due to Covid. We routinely get good take out from the SERG group. But with Beaufort county at its lowest rate in months, we splurged with dinner on the patio. All the courses and services were exceptional. The very best thing was the Dockside Rockefeller Oysters. Out of this world! The manager came over four times thanking us for being VIP members and checking on the new server. A very memorable evening, thank you!
Excellent service and food!
The Poached Pear Salad was delicious and we enjoyed the outdoor dining with view of Skull Creek. And we liked that we could make a reservation.
Great brunch experience as always. One of the most reliable places on the Island, everything is always great.
Not enforcing masks which is a law. Spoke to hostess immediately upon arrival when couple waiting did not have masks. Response was we can’t enforce. I then reminded couple of mask requirement myself. We had to wait 30’ longer for a table even though we had a reservation as they wanted to seat us away from unmasked couple. Why penalize us who were following the law? Manager did speak to us and checked in with us 3 times, reiterated restaurant can’t mandate mask wearing. Of course you can, wear a mask or kindly leave. This restaurant can afford to loose a non compliant couple. Server (Abby) was great as was the food minus one lukewarm soup. Social distancing of tables was excellent. Now use your management right and enforce the mask law. Other restaurants in HH are doing so.
Lovely setting, varied menu, delicious food well presented and friendly, attentive service. We look forward to visiting again!
I must visit every Time I’m in Hilton head. Fantastic wait staff, food is delicious, and great waterway views.
Very good seafood and service, always busy but still a great place to go.
Lots of selections.
Great ambience overlooking the water. The seafood was all expertly prepared - our party had scallops, shrimp and various fish preparations. Be careful and as I'm not sure that what they list as "grouper" or "flounder" is what is served. 42% of what is labeled grouper in the US is mislabeled and flounder in South Carolina is at a record low. Probably should have asked more questions as the fish I sampled were did not have the texture or oil feel of fish I've had in the past when I've actually seen the whole fish being prepared.
We loved the locally caught clams, the friendly and prompt service and the beautiful view of the boats on the water. I get why this is one of the most popular restaurants in Hilton Head.
We met some friends who had not been to the restaurant before. They loved it. Everything was very good, but the view impressed them most. We had a great visit and I'm sure they will come again when they return to the Island. Dockside it one of our go-to places to take visitors!
