Smoke Jazz and Supper Club
I enjoyed my time at Smoke Jazz and Supper Club. It is small and the tables are close but the food and music outweighed the space. It was very intimate. The tables were close to the stage with good sight lines to the musicians.. The food was well prepared and delicious. I didn't feel rushed attending the second set. Buy your ticket in advance to avoid the addition on your bill and gratuity.
Was totally satisfied .
Good place to listen great jazz with good food alongside good drinks, service is attentive. Highly recommended a reservation considering the place size
One of my favorite places ever, great music, love the vibe and doesnt get better than Smoke
Great music. Love the intimacy of venue.
This was what a date should be! Great food, music, ambiance and was very romantic! We loved this spot and will definitely come here again!
It was our 24th Anniversary
Unfortunately there is a post that covers the view of the stage. Most folks are spared the inconvenience but some are bobbing and weaving to see the stage. It appears the bar seats are the best.
The better place ti listen jazz
The people and the ambience are great
I love listening to Jazz in this space but having dinner there is a bit of a challenge unless you come very early for the 7 o'clock show. The service for the 9 p.m. show was awful. Still glad I was there but should have eaten at home.
Went for the Marc Cary Jam Session and despite calling the day of to confirm his performance , no one told us Marc would not be performing. Great experience other than feeling misled.
Way way overpriced. $18 for a half zucchini and a dozen fava beans. $40 music charge.
I didn’t know we would be Charge $40 apiece to listen to the live band , They didn’t tell me that when I was booked the reservation . It was the most expensive restaurant week restaurant I went to this week
Never fails to be a good experience.
Very enjoyable time, parking on street good, food very good,a little pricey, all in all will return.
Great food, great music, overall a really good time.
The overall experience was decent, the only two things that could be improved is service and the portion size. Our appetizers came before drinks, no utensils and water were provided until we asked for it, and we had to ask three times for bread.
Portions are extremely small, so you should probably get more appetizers than you would normally do if you're hungry.
Otherwise the experience was fantastic - if you're looking for a place with decent jazz music - that is it, you've found it. Gives you an old New York decadence energy from the moment you've stepped in.
The purpose of our visit was to catch my nephew Steve Davis and the Correlations Sextet's "Tribute to J.J. Johnson"...and to celebrate my daughter's birthday. In every respect the evening was a great success: food and wine were very good and the service was outstanding. The staff at Smoke did everything possible to make our special occasion just that---SPECIAL! As for the music --out of this world great!
Beautiful jazz club. Small, quaint. Food was limited but tasty. A bit on the high price side.
Went on a Tuesday night. The band was outstanding. Best part by far. Service subpar, food room temperature. Would definitely go see the band play again but preferably at a different location.
Greg is an outstanding bar attender ! The food is Michelin-deserve quality
And music is the just-jazz kind of we were looking for.
The atmosphere and service was amazing, but the food was absolutely terrible.
Mild and sexy atmosphere
Food was as good as I expected. As a designer/builder of restaurants, bakeries & gourmet shops, I can say that my dining experiences over the years at Smoke has successfully matched their impeccable musical experience.
We went for restaurant week and when we arrived, we not only had to pay for the Jazz show which was amazing and worth it (so we didnt mind), but after ordering were told we couldnt do a pre-fix on Saturday. A bit disappointed - but well worth it.
I've been to Smoke several times. It is always fascinating. The music is fantastic, especially when guest artists are allowed to join in. There is nothing like this experience.
I was there with my family and my doughter was so tired and suffered for the noise of the so close trumpet! But, anyway, it has been such a wonderful concert in such a fashiating atmosphere.
Music was great but food was just okay and the prices do not justify the quality of the food. Be prepared to spend a lot of money, especially on a night where they have a music charge!
Fabulous entertainment, atmosphere and food. Truly a jazz clubby feel.
excellent jazz music
Best time ever! The service, food and of course the music is all amazing! Highly recommend get your tickets and reservations in advance.
The music show was amazing. Not only was the quartet incredibly talented, but they were very engaging as well. The staff was also very attentive and the food tasted great. The restaurant week 3 prix fix meal was well priced for the amount of food received. A great experience overall.
We had a fantastic time! The music was lively, the food was tasty, the service was second to none! Ben was attentive, informative, and pleasant. We will most definitely be back.
Drink prices were hefty. The food was delicious. Seating was tight which is why i gave it a 4 star. Mood was calming. Much needed.
Food really disappointing I threw out the fish soup the following day. Good ambience and music very expensive for what you get
It is great and that vibe is to die for 👌amazing
Loved the atmosphere and Cyrus Chestnut was wonderful. If you ever see him on the forthcoming events I suggest you book!
Staff were wonderful, food was great and the music was sublime
Great food and amazing music in this upper west side jazz club.
The musical show was short - just one hour and if you are coming for the music ( I don't think that there is any justification to come just for the food, which is o.k but nothing special) you might be disappointed.
Small venue with small uncomfortable tables. Great music, good food with attentive service. A nice place to spend a couple of hours but over priced.
