Social Hideout - Waterloo
The social hideout doesn’t accept reservations from this website.
Such a pretty café! Friendly staff and delicious, beautifully presented food. The red velvet latte (with a shot of coffee) was so yummy. Worth the trip from Newcastle!
Beautiful, insta-worthy aesthetic, food wasn't too great.
Social Hideout was a nice place to go to. It was a little expensive but would go there again for a special event. The place looked very appealing and inviting wanting me to go in there. The staff were nice and also the service of the food was timed nicely.
Recently booked social hideout for my friends baby shower. Perfect location for a girly event, loved the food and the beautiful decor. Great service! Highly recommend anyone to book this place for a girly event.
Lovely floral decor
I brought my dog to have the puppachino and dog meal but when we got there they said they sold out yesterday and hadn’t made more. This was pretty annoying as I love when cafes has food and drinks for dogs. I feel that you should let customers know via social media as I believe it is a popular thing to get and my dog couldn’t have anything anymore.
We had a great brunch party. The booking was for 1.5 hours. Since we had a lot to share, it turned out the owner allowed us to stay till the next booking for our table. We stayed there for 2.5 hours!
Looks like something out of a magazine. Flowers draped on the ceilings and most of the walls. Very vibrant displays of color, with the food and staff to match. The staff were so generous and hospitable. The food is self was a display of art. All of the dishes tied in the decor in some fashion. Both entrees we had were very unique. Asian influence on most of the dishes, which was create. Spice and flavor in every bite. Definitely the place to go get dressed up and enjoy a great brunch, followed by cool and snazzy photos so come dressed and photo ready. Wouldn't change a thing about our experience.
The Social Hideout is deserving of its insta-worthy cafe status. Had the bubble gum hot cakes (very inventive, love the blue, more for someone with a sweet tooth) and silly salmon (amazing noodles, perfect balance between chewy and cooked, salmon skin nicely grilled).
Highly recommended! Will visit again!
The place is absolutely stunning with beautiful floral decorations. Lovely plCe for those photo-minded. Food and coffee were fine. :)
Great looking place, service slow but food was good!
Incredible place! Highly recommend booking your next girls day out to be at social hideout where it is expected to take photos everywhere possible and not be judged for it!!
Lovely pretty place with lots of colourful meals on the menu however is was either french toast or casserole no in between choices like a chicken burger or eggs on toast so not the place for fussy eaters! The staff weren’t very chatty or attentive but nice over all
Great atmosphere, impeccable service and overall a fantastic place. The food tasted as good as it looked! Would definitely come back
Good place to be bbbvvv vfff dddh gfff ddff ygg ddtf
A beautiful place with stunning and delicious food. A great place for the whole family too.
Social Hideout is definitely a place to check off your list of Must Do venues. The Decor is so over the top it's great, and the food is amazing!
Such a fun and vibrant place. Setting was a bit crammed, but it wasn't much of a bother. Menu was unique. The food was presented well and delicious.
Overall the aesthetic of the cafe was outstanding! Unfortunately this was let down by the food dramatically. I ordered the 'AJ IS A VEGAN' bowl because I felt a little healthy. When it came out it looked as if there were three leaves of Kale on the plate... with about five almonds in the mix. Half way through my disappointing salad I realised they had forgot the avocado (YOU HAD ONE JOB....) and upon that realisation, my friend witnessed what I was praying was an eyelash coming from the dish. I just wanted to pay and leave. Very very disappointing experience. Not even worth it for the gram.
I liked the menu and service at Parramatta social hide out better
Food is delicious. Staff were polite and food didn’t take long to come
Too many decorations on small tables therefore continuously shuffling around plates and drinks to eat comfortably.
Never enough cutlery!! Numerous visits never enough cutlery.
The Avocado smash at Parra needs to be brought to the Waterloo store. The Waterloo smash lacks taste.
Unfortunately the Taro pancakes were not as nice as last time.
Great food and atmosphere. Beautiful setting. I do however feel the level of service could have been better! I was waiting ages for my coffee and no staff members bothered to check on our meal or how this was. I think it's important to do so going forward.
It was nice but overpriced, and it feels as if they are just trying to do too much with their menu.
Beautiful place.interesting variety food selection.
Loved everything about it so cute amazing food and we will be back!
The menu is poor. Limited options. A bit overpricing. However, decoration is nice.
Social Hideout is the definition of instagram vs reality. The interior of the cafe was amazing but the food was average and it certainly wasn’t instagrammable if that is what you are going for
Cute little cafe with a nice young vibe, food was great, service was quick & friendly will definitely be back
Great atmosphere. Setting was superb. Menu is great and will be back.
