Was amazing food and really good service, thank you Nico for all attention!!!
Definitely I’ll we back
Food is incredible!! Homemade pasta is indescribable!! Can’t wait to go back for more!
This was our second visit. Every dish was prepared to perfection. The wait staff were exceptional. Courteous , friendly and efficient. Try the arancini of the day. However they are prepared, they are outstanding. Pasta is homemade and fabulous. Will never disappoint.
Great food and wine list. A hidden gem in Queens Blvd.
Super sweet staff and delicious food! We had a great meal and a great time
Always a good value and delicious food! The nightly specials add variety and are consistently a good choice.
Casual room but incredible Italian food. Best gnocchi ever and fab rice balls. Incredible nonni’s lemon cake with pignolli nuts.
Great value, owners are hands on and terrific.
Amazing ... my favorite restaurant ever ... the food is amazing ... the staff is incredible !!!
Amazing food! Great Staff! What else could you ask for...a small gem indeed!
Delicious food, great value, neighborly vibes, interesting customers, friendly staff! We return frequently and always will!
This place is great. Great food, great wine list. Love the $30 Primitivos. Forzia Puglia
Excellent meal! Incredibly fresh, handmade pasta that is to die for. Such unique and delicious flavors. I never eat pasta, but when I dine at SoleLuna I indulge in the fresh taste and enjoy every bite! It’s nice to know that the pasta dough is made fresh and uses high quality ingredients. The pear and ricotta pasta dish is phenomenal. Highly recommend! Wonderful staff and excellent service.
Wonderful experience and amazing food.
Ambience is rustic Italian style. A normal regular busy Saturday evening in Queens, New York. Our server's quiet friendly, went with his 2 entree recommendations as we are vegetarians. Gnocchi in mushroom truffle sauce is the best to die for. Soft gnocchi pasta melting in your mouth with a tasty mushroom truffle sauce is very delicious. Pesto pasta is also another good choice. It had a freshly made pesto flavor to enjoy. Tiramisu is housemade and just melts in your mouth. Chocolate cake was also really very good. Overall a delicious experience and definitely looking forward to come again for trying other dishes from the Menu.
A gem. Affordable. Authentic. Delicious.
Certainly, the best pasta I have had in a long while. My rigatoni was cooked to al dente perfection while the swordfish and sardine sauce was well balanced in its flavours and delicious. The daily specials offered a distinctive range of mostly southern Italian pasta dishes. The wine list -- all Italian -- starts at reasonable prices by New York standards. Overall value for the quality of the food was excellent. Service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is relatively small, the tables are close, and it appears always to be packed in the evenings. So with the music (predominantly '80s disco that evening), and conversations loud enough to be heard over the music, it isn't very quiet. But that all contributes to the atmosphere in its way. Definitely worth a return visit.
Wonderful, not so hidden gem in Queens. Worth the wait, everytime!!!
Truly a neighborhood gem. A wonderful, creative menu, attentive service, easy parking. We came on a Thursday night about 8pm and were surprised at how full the restaurant was. After our meal, we completely understood. We will be back.
Local neighborhood restaurant owners are local very Involved with every meal!!!
Simply the best
Excellent food, as usual, served quickly. Because the restaurant was crowded and very noisy (loud music and conversations), the service was swift and perfunctory. The waiter spilled my wine while pouring. I had to signal him for cheese on my pasta, and the feel was “hurry up and free the table.”
Phenomenal food and service as always. Definitely make a reservation :)
Very gracious and comfortable restaurant. I will definitely go back. Pastas well above average and fairly priced.
Everything was fine, but they did not honor our Open Table reservation.
Staff was very attentive and food was very delicious and good choices for different eaters!
One of my favorites and always reliably good food. I’ve never been disappointed in a meal at Soleluna. The staff are friendly and accommodating and make sure we have the best possible experience. I don’t hesitate to make plans with friends to have a meal here.
I usually take what other reviewers say with a grain of salt but this place was as amazing as the others said. The food as incredibly delicious and you can tell was homemade. The staff was friendly and their recommendations were spot on. I will definitely come back.
Great spot, I take a business group in for lunch every few months. Its our local go to.
Nice place in queens
Awesome place, people and food. You will love it here, the staff is so helpful and the food is amazing.
Amazing to be back and introduce our new friends to the restaurant. Francesca and the rest of the staff went above and beyond wonderful service. At one point our guest had the sun in her eyes and put on sun glasses...an employee noticed and quickly went out and put the outdoor shade up. That is service! The food as usual was delicious!
They are so incredible here
From food to service and everything in between
The Sunnyside Restaurant Week specials were varied enough, and we enjoyed our meals, feeling like we had something you couldn’t get just anywhere. The noise level got a bit high, and we forgot to request postcards to enter the contest for a gift card. Service was pleasant enough. Would absolutely return.
Fantastic service & food as always. One of the best restaurants in Sunnyside and highly recommend!
100% would recommend. Love the atmosphere. Went there for my moms birthday and it surpassed expectations. :)
Food was excellent, except the very ordinary meatball appetizer. I had the ravioli-like pasta with pear and ricotta. It was excellent. My friend had the lemon chicken, also excellent. Even the salad with chicken was good. The chicken was crisp on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. Their special drink called Soleluna was superb. It's a gin (which I hate) with a basil infusion. My husband insisted I taste it and I loved it.
I love this place so much that I travel to Queens specifically to eat here. I was lucky enough to go for an anniversary on Cacio e Pepe night - what a treat! Everyone here always makes me feel like family, the food is absolutely delicious and affordable and it is the closest to actually being in Italy that you can get for just a quick trip on the 7 line.
Loved the atmosphere and the food and wine was excellent! 5 stars
Second time dining here. Lovely experience both times. The location is great, cozy and inviting. The food is very good. Great choices. There's also outdoor seating that is nice. Best of all is the service and staff. They round out the overall experience. They're attentive and make good suggestions. Highly recommend. Will be back
