    Overall, food was nice, drinks were good. Would have been a better rating if we hadn’t felt pressured into giving a tip (which we would do anyway) just felt it was a bit cheeky of the waiter to announce that he’d round it up by a tenner to include tips. Obviously aware that it’s customary to tip etc but don’t feel it’s appropriate for the waiter to tell you by how much. Left a bad taste tbh

    The place is lovely, I booked it there because the concept is lovely but I'm not to happy with the service because I was in the bar waiting for my table and I ordered to one of the bartender (from Spain) some drinks and his answer was " give me 10 mins" and after that he wasn't doing anything at all, so I ordered with another guy so kind. The food was good and we didn't wait for them too much time.

    Incredible! We got a table inside just as we asked. Food was delicious, pecan pie is a must!!! Service was very nice and our waitress Viktoria was very caring! We got our food without any delay. We will come back soon!

    We had breakfast at Sophie's last Friday. We were greeted nicely, placed at our table and asked for hot drinks. Unfortunately, after 20 minutes we had to ask for our drinks again, as they were forgotten and thus came almost at the same time as the food. There was also a bit of a delay in taking our food order, even though the restaurant wasn't really full. My friend and I both ordered sourdough breads with different toppings. Unfortunately, the bread was toasted pretty hard and the regular knives were too dull to cut it. When we asked for steak knives it didn't get much better - sharpen knives/buy better knives! Regarding the high prices, the portions could have been a bit larger. Unfortunately, no one ever inquired about our well-being in between, although there were many waiters and few guests. Generally, we were served by 5 different waiters, which also led to confusion among the staff. It would be better to assign fixed stations! We also had to wait 20 minutes for our bill at the end. All in all, unfortunately, not a great experience, even the view could not really convince us. The prices charged are not in relation to what is offered.

    We were a group of 6 who had a fantastic meal at Sophie’s. The service was very good, the Prosecco,cocktails and wine all accommodated our group. As for the food, delicious! All 6 of us had different meals and not one complaint. I would t hesitate to return!

    I went in afternoon on recommendation of few my friends. They went in night. But I went afternoon. 1) There was not many options for the lunch. 2) We ordered the following: Seabass: was not that great. Especially the sauce was let down. It seems that it was made from morning's baked bean. The overall flavour didn't come together well. The fish was okay. I would expect the fish's skin to be slightly crispy; it wasn't. I'm not sure how fresh was the fish. It was bit dry. Vegetable Rigatoni: This was major disappointment. There something in the dish that was bitter in taste. Not sure if it is the standard. The artichokes were very chewy. Overall, below average. Margherita Pizza: Same goes for pizza. Fries: This was actually good. Above average and no complains. Brownie with Ice Cream: Again this was good. As you see, the sides and dessert were above average, pizza average. But the main courses were big let down. I have not tried this place at night, may be the experience is better. But I would like to avoid this place at noon. I mean, your local bar or pub would server much better main courses than this. It was no worth the hype.

    I absolutely LOVE Sophies. It is a beautiful place in the middle of the city, the food is brilliant and prices are very reasonable. It is my go-to place when I want to impress visitors :-)

    We just got our cocktail 1 minute and the food was already there! I didn't like the view because the windows were dirty. We wanted to order some dessert but they offered the bill instead.

    The food and service was second to none, we dined on the terrace and it was amazing the heaters are a life safer. The wait time for the food is good you get to enjoy your drink from the bar first and then your treated to some of the best food around

    Half the wine menu was missing and only for a very good waitress we were eventually given a decent glass of wine at a fair price. You can't make customers pay over the odds because of supply issues. That waitress was superb.

    It was for 30 th birthday we 7 girls came and very Very poor service, we didn’t get the sides first with drinks, pizza was burnt . Girls said Dips were finished. & the time was inly1;30. Very unhappy.

    Sophie's has a great atmosphere and the views of Dublin were fantastic! The food and cocktails were good nothing outstanding but it was a good dinner! Would definitely come back again and sit on the Terrace!

    Enjoyed a fabulous evening out at Sophie’s thank you! Service was attentive without being overbearing. Lovely waiting and bar staff. Super friendly and professional. Older kids loved the pizzas and skinny chips. Steak was tender but lacking a bit of seasoning. Cooked as ordered and enjoyed. Greens were fresh and not microwaved - thank God, so many high end places do this with mash and veg, drives me nuts. Chicken Nduja was so so tasty. Would go back for this! Not a huge piece of chicken but plenty to fill me. Pasta Al dente - perfect Usual high price for soft drinks and cocktails etc but great views over the Dublin rooftops Looking forward to a repeat visit!

    I had booked Outdoor for my birthday, but they said they didn’t get that on the system, and it was an opentable mistake! They didn’t even try to get us a table outside, it kind of ruined my day

    We had a fabulous time at Sophie’s. We booked dinner, the food was amazing! We then stayed on the rooftop bar for cocktails after. The whole atmosphere and service was incredible. Throughly enjoyed our time. Looking forward to going again next time we are in Dublin.
