Food was good; service was great. Was a get together with friends.
We had a large party and it was a great place with lots of options.
Had Caesar salad, garlic bread and.Pizza. All was fantastic. They have the best crust ever.
We asked the waitress which dish people ordered the most. She told us that they are listed on the menu in order of diner's favorites?!!
The lasagna was horrible. Noodles were the non boil noodles. The noodles were not completely covered in sauce and it was very dry. Garlic bread was not very good either.
I did see a lot of people order their pizza so maybe that is much better than their entrees
We are repeat customers at Sorrento House. The atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing. They have a variety of appetizers, salads, and main dishes. The marinara sauce is excellent. The portions are generous. The wait staff work very hard and are prompt to meet diners' needs. They have treated my husband extremely well and have been great at accommodating my family with seats in a more remote corner since he is going through chemotherapy and needs a certain degree of isolation. There is definitely a sense of community and good will at Sorrento's. :)
Upon arriving at the restaurant, the hostess was not at her station. There were 2 other groups in front of us that had been waiting for about 3 minutes. After another 2 or 3 minutes, the young hostess came about to the desk and without apologizing for being gone for so long, proceeded to seat everyone. It took another 5 minutes or so to even be greeted by our waitress, who appeared to be overwhelmed and overworked. We order 2 different appetizers (breaded eggplant and Midwest poppers, both were greasy and tasted stale. I suspect too much time in the freezer.
We ordered a large pizza "House works" pizza. Although it arrived quickly, it was so salty it was difficult to eat it. Very disappointed in the salt level, but I suspect nothing in cooked in the kitch, but sometime directly a can or pre-processed. The quality has differently gone down from the former Mama Mia's. With tow other pizza places very near by (Pizza Man and Marty's Pizza), why would go back here again. In fact I would sooner take my change with a slice of pizza from the Speedway Gas station a block away!
Great food and service. Great replacement for mama mias
So happy to hear you enjoyed everything! We hope to see you again soon - Reece
Fabulous skills in the kitchen and fair prices- Hard to beat!
Thank you so much for the kind words. We are so glad that you enjoyed your visit! - Reece
The marinara sauce was spectacular and for an appetizer we had fried eggplant it was very good I would also suggest the house salad which is big enough to split
Thank you so much for the kind review. Glad to hear you enjoyed your visit with us! -Reece
The garlic bread was soaked with butter? and highly seasoned and salty. Couldn't eat it.
Even if was prepared properly it still is a small order for the price.
Check out Mia's in Waukesha for the kind of bread to serve
The pizza and flatbread orders were all over cooked and dry - almost to the point of being burned
Mama Mia's was just a bad - But - was hoping you would have improved it 100%
We will not be returning or recommending.
Sorento House is one of our new favorite restaurants in the Waukesha area. The new owner has revamped the menu and has added new dishes. Try the Bruschetta...it is a light, fresh appetizer, but if you don't share, it is enough to be a meal. Love this place!
Michelle, thank you so much for the kind review. We are so glad to hear you enjoy our restaurant. We can't wait to welcome you back again soon! -Reece

You did the fish fry and the fish was fine the french fries were definitely undercooked for all of us. As far as our service was great!
