This was our first time at Sorriso and were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good and our server Janice was outstanding. Had the grilled calamari which was excellent. We’ll definitely be back!
The food was excellent.Outdoor dining was well done in terms of table spacing
Food was superb! Veal Marsala was excellent and the roasted garlic and artichoke soup was yummy! Thanks for the great experience!
First time we ate at Sorriso and it was an excellent dining experience!!
Great food and amazing service. Always friendly and accommodating
We regularly go to this restaurant and love the food and people.
What an amazing place! They are making sure employees use one entrance and customers use the other to avoid excess handling of doors. The tables outside are spaced out well and the food is as amazing as ever. We loved our pasta dishes and the baked artichoke appetizer. We look forward to coming back soon.
It was during Covid in a tent. Biggest complaint-waitress's mask NEVER covered her nose.
Outdoor seating due COVID, other than that it was a good first impression for us as this was our first time there. Service was outstanding and the food was very good. Staff is friendly and we enjoyed our time there
What a great place. The food was great but the service was outstanding. If you are looking for an awesome Italian meal this is the place to go!!!
Great food & service!!
a crazy storm ripped through our outdoor dining experience and the staff were amazing making sure we were safe, dry and taken care of. Highly recommend this place!
Eating outside. Great food and the service was friendly and quick. Would like to have had a salad with the meal for the price, but again, overall was very good and we enjoyed it. Haven't had a bad meal there yet.
Excellent service, friendly staff, and incredible food.
We sat outside because of covid 19 rules. The food and service was great and everyone around us, including us, seemed to enjoy being outside and eating together. Glad we spent Father’s Day dinner there.
Delicious fried calamari and chicken parm. Sat outside due to COVID-19 regulations yet was still very pleasant. Our server Janice was great: attentive and kind. Perfect spot for date night!
We’ve eaten here about a half dozen times. It has always been good!!
Great food and service!
Every time we come here the food is consistent. The service is always professional. The prices are very reasonable.
It was our first time dining at Sorisso’s restaurant. Everything was great! The food was delicious, and the service great! We will be ack.
Vert nice evening with service-food-atmosphere ! Excellent place to go to.
Had been here twice before. 1st time was ok. 2nd time we really enjoyed it. This time we came with 8 people. It was a Saturday night and very busy and loud (Expected for Saturday). The appetizers were ok. The shrimp cocktail was excellent. The crab cakes tasted mostly of filler. Not much crab. We got the grilled octopus. Bland and was VERY chewy. I will say 3 of us ordered the stuffed chicken Lady G's. All 3 liked it. Last time I asked for and got the Veal Picatta. It is not on the menu but a chicken picatta is and there are 3 veal dishes so I figured they could easily make it at an additional charge, and they did with no problem. I had the same waitress this time and I asked for the same thing. She said she didn't think the chef would make it. I asked her to check and she repeated the same thing to me. She said it was too busy (of course it is. It's Saturday night). and he might not do it. She asked what else I would like and I said Lasagna was my back up choice. I thought she might go ask about the veal. She never did, never mentioned it and just brought me the lasagna. Come on. You have Veal for marsala and you make a chicken picatta but you can't make something as simple as that with things you already have? Most any Italian restaurant will make anything you want as long as they have the ingredients. Anyways, very disappointing. So I ate the lasagna which had very little sauce (gravy) and was extremely dry. Not much taste. Pretty hard to do that with lasagna. One of the others did not like it either. We still had a great time because the 8 of us together always do regardless. Some of us (including my wife and I) are very much on the fence on if we would come back again. Too many good Italian restaurants out there to be disappointed. We'll see........
Always excellent food. Great service. Specials great...
Two people in our party truly enjoyed the stuffed chicken special.
Overall 4+ stars. Service outstanding. Noisy. Otherwise very, very good.
This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. It was our first visit and we will be back!
Our server, Janice, was delightful. She explained the menu and recommended a few dishes. When enquiring about the tomato basil soup, she brought us a sample to try. It was seasoned perfectly and was not acidic like some soups can be. My husband had the house salad. It was very fresh with cold crisp lettuce and a lovely ranch dressing.
I followed Janice’s suggestion and had the Pappardelle Bolognese. Sorriso’s bolognese sauce was delicious. It was a very flavorful perfectly blended creamy sauce with sautéed carrots and celery. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the tenderloin tips were plentiful and melted in my mouth. It was one of the best pasta dishes that I have had.
My husband had the grilled shrimp and steak kabobs. They were done just right and the rice as well as the veal demi-glaze added to the flavor. We had a lemon sorbet for dessert and it was served inside a lemon rind. We never expected that. It was not too sweet or too tart. It was the perfect ending to a delicious meal.
In addition we had leftovers and had them the next day for dinner. This was a hidden gem and we are happy our friend recommended it to us.
We just decided to try Sorriso, passing it by for about 10 years, and I am so sorry we did not try it earlier. We have been back 4 times since we first tried it 4 months ago. I recommend people give this hidden gem a try.
The food was delicious. the service was great. The wine pours were generous. Upscale casual dining. Only complaint was the tables were too close. Noise level was very high
What a find! An excellent meal close to home! We hosted a party of 8 for a celebration. The food rivaled our downtown favorites. The stuffed artichokes, eggplant parmesan and steak medallions were perfection! The desserts were note-worthy also. And because service can make or break your meal, kudos to Janice! We never had to ask for a thing.
Typical Italian food prepared well. Our waitress was great.
As we chose where to dine for Valentines Day, this was in our top 5! The bar was available while we waited for our table. The bartenders were very attentive. The waitress who served us gave us time and spaced out or experience very well. Definitely will return in the near future!
Made reservations but was put in a really badly placed table. My husband had a great view but I was facing the bathrooms and busboy station, so extra noisy. I cook every night and was looking forward to a nice romantic dinner for Valentine’s Day. The chicken Marsala was good but the $10 love potion martini tasted like a glass of chemicals with no pleasant flavor. The service was great but I just couldn’t wait to get out of there. I will stick with an old favorite in town.
Our first time there, the restaurant was very nice, clean and the food was amazing. I would recommend it to others. The price was very reasonable as well. We had 2 dinners, an appetizer, 3 drinks and a dessert for $75
We went on Valentine's Day, and the restaurant staff was ready for us and attentive on this very-busy day. I would definitely return for their seafood dishes.
The desert was my favorite part!
This was our first time and we were celebrating our daughter's 25th birthday. I had heard all good things about the restaurant and all 3 of us were very pleased that we decided to try it. The meal was delicious, our server was very helpful and friendly, and she brought my daughter a birthday ice cream dish! We will definitely return!!!
Enjoyed this restaurant immensely! Great food and the service was impeccable! Location is a bit off the beaten path, but it is a great find :-) I had the veal marsala - like butter, did not even need a knife and my husband had the blackened rib eye - seared to perfection with a mouthwatering rub! Calamari as an appetizer did not disappoint. Definitely going back :-)
Sorriso has great food. Highly recommended! The Italian Baked Shrimp is fantastic (appetizer or entrée). The service is always top notch. Our favorite servers are Angie and Todd. It's best to get a reservation on Friday and Saturday nights; it's pretty easy to get a table when you walk in after about 8:00 pm. The bar is usually pretty crowded (in a good way) but if you get a seat at the bar, you can order food, too.
Sorriso is a neighborhood favorite. We go frequently. You should, too.
Small but very nice. Food was very good and Price was reasonable. Service at table was great. Would go back again. Very Happy and Full
