Sparrow & Wolf
Always a great dining experience! The chef and kitchen are constantly pushing the envelope of new and exciting features including taste, texture, and color in all of the dishes they served. Service is excellent and the staff are well-trained. This is a neighborhood gem, fit for foodies, and worth the trip off the strip!
Despite earning consistently exceptional reviews Sparrow and Wolf is still an under rated hidden gem off the strip in Vegas. Dishes are creative, unique, and most importantly flat out delicious. The sweet potato duck confit dumplings foie gras katsu (yes you read that right), lamb neck, and tomato tartine with truffle cream cheese are all 10/10 highlights on a menu full of fantastic flavors.
Love all course and sharing plates
Not bad just not great for the price point. I’ll give them a 2nd look however as I believe there’s better there
Food was on point and our server was awesome!
Outstanding!!! Service was excellent!!! Delicious, flavorful, unique entrees! We will definitely go back soon!!!
recommend tasting menu
Very good small eats restaurant. Flavor flavor flavor. Service was great as well.
Third time we have enjoyed dinner here and it is hands down our favorite restaurant in Vegas. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
We had a fantastic meal - and very attentive service. Jason was there to answer any questions we had about the menu, and the manager came over to make sure things were going well. It was our first visit to S+W, and my birthday as well, and they brought over a selection of desserts as well. The panna cotta was our favorite, but they were all delicious.
We were celebrating my mom starting her new position as a college professor! We arrived, were greeted and were seated immediately. We had a fantastic waitress named Brittany and she made sure our food was perfect, our glasses were full and our needs were met. She had a staff of helpers that were all very courteous and kind. Our food came out looking beautiful and tasting delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly and the entire experience was wonderful. My mom was treated to a congratulatory blueberry tart for dessert and warm wishes from all the staff. We truly thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for making this a memorable dining experience for her and for all of us!
The food and service was excellent. We had the bento box and was plenty for my wife and I. Interesting story of how the restaurant was named, ask the chef. We will definitely return.
Awesome and interesting meal. Everything was flavorful in surprising ways
We had a great time going for the first time.
All of the staff made us feel very welcome and got to chat with the chef.
All four dishes we tried were fantastic, we'll be back for more, thanks for a great anniversary.
Service was awesome however, food portions were small and pricey considering they boast it’s family style.
Atmosphere was laid back but luxurious. Cocktails were fantastic and I enjoyed my appetizer and dessert. My entree was underwhelming. Meat was a little tough, but it was well seasoned.
Absolutely delicious. Ordered the pretty bird drinks. We chose the prosciutto, risotto, and the duck confit dumplings and asked the waitress for more suggestions. All 3 of her extra suggestions were perfect (forgot what they were). We left full, next time we'll try to save space for dessert. The chain links worked into the design of the place were dope.
It was for my birthday. The server was great. The pace in which the food was coming out was really slow. The wait in between each course was long. But food was really good.
Food options were horrible
The food was outstanding better than we expected and we would definitely return again.
Small Tapas place off the strip. Very reasonably priced, excellent & unique menu. Brittany was an outstanding host, great guidance throughout the menu and very attentive.
Restaurant a little too dark to see, and was a little warmer inside than I was comfortable with.
LOVE the food and the service was fantastic. Chris our server was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Vibe was cool-local eatery but with a menu that was a great surprise. We'll be back!
Weird food. Drinks took a long time to arrive. Small restaurant I wasn’t impressed
You get what you pay for and you will pay a lot. Good service, good food, good cocktails, able to actually have a conversation without haveing to yell over loud music.
lovely experience. amazing servu
It was a dining experience! The food was special, the wine great and the service was excellent.
Flavors were fantastic and surprising; excellent quality of ingredients. The foie gras katsu special was one of the more memorable dishes I’ve had in a moment; every component was perfectly made and matched.
This was my second time dining at Sparrow & Wolf and once again the food and service was exquisite a absolute feast for your taste buds!!!!
Not a formal meal but a great way to eat yourself through a menu! Will Definitely be back
The place is beautifully decorated and the food is to die for!
We had the octopus, and I still think about it....sooooo good!
The only thing I didn't love was that the place is small, so the tables are way to close to each other and that removed the privacy that I look for on a place of this category.
I would definitely go back, but not on a romantic date ; )
By far one of the best dining experiences in town.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff, server offered recommendations and explained why they were his favorites, made suggestions based on our dietary restrictions as well. We tried about half of the menu, and cannot say a bd thing about any of it. The duck confit dumplings are by far my favorite dish (so much so that I ordered 2!!) Also tried the oysters, scallops, 32oz porterhouse with American banchan (that potato cake...yum!) tomato tartine, steak tartare, white asparagus. Everything was exceptional, well thought out dishes with subtle nuances that probably aren't caught by the untrained palate.
Can't wait to go back and try the other half of the menu!
Was okay very pricey $15 for roasted broccoli. Nice atmosphere!
By far one of the most flavorful meals I have had in a long time. The scallops, porterhouse, and dessert were incredible.
I’ve never written a review, nor have I ever experienced a restaurant like this. Beyond the amazing food and drink, there’s a “real” family who runs the place. Met the chef, his wife and child who are beautiful humans.
Will definitely be back on our future Vegas vacays. Thank you for a truly memorable experience.
Sparrow and Wolf is the best restaurant in the Valley right now. Chef Brian Howard kills it with awesome dishes and a menu that’s always changing, but they always have some classics that keep you coming back. The cocktail menu is always inventive, well balanced and delicious. The atmosphere is modern, trendy and perfect for a special occasion or date night. I always recommend this place to my friends who are adventurous, outgoing and want to see what the city really has to offer.
Food is outstanding, Consistent in everything Chef Brian and his staff deliver. Chef Anthony is also very consistent on maintaining that delivery. John Anthony runs the front of the house keeping everyone happy, sociable and just checking to see everyone has what they want. Just a great place to have a meal, a specialty dinner with friends or just that Anniversary, Birthday, Engagement or just any other specialty you might want to celebrate. Chef Brian and John Anthony have Sparrow & Wolf for 2 years now and we can honestly say that we try to be there at least once a month if not more. There recent Bastille Day celebration had a great turn out and the menu that night was excellent. Looking forward to another visit to this place. Be Adventurous you never know until you try it!!!
Terrific meal with friendly and knowledgeable front of house folks. Ambitious menu delivered with pride not pretense. Great wine choices, well conceived cocktails. Best of all, comfy counter seating. Rock on!
Food was amazing although they did do too much with such a small space there are two tables right behind the bar and between larger tables so we were getting bumped by passerby traffic the entire meal.
This place was great. It's a small neighborhood joint in Chinatown ( a $15 cab ride from the strip) and it is not to be missed. The food is as high end as you will find anywhere and everything we ate was perfectly prepared. The menu items included combinations of things that you wouldn't ordinarily put together, but the chef strives for " balance" and from where I sit, he certainly achieves it. Special props from our visit go to the bartender, whose combination of strawberries, rhubarb, basil, apple brandy and pinot grigio all mixed together in the slurpee machine was just great. She told us that she chopped the strawberries and cooked down the rhubarb that morning - that's the kind of attention to detail and pride in its product that this place offers. Go - you won't regret it.
Visited for our anniversary dinner. Vibrant atmosphere, very welcoming and friendly. The dessert we chose (which was delicious) was complimentary for our anniversary--an unexpected treat! Enjoyed the food, which was a nice Asian fusion type menu. Drinks, and especially the wines, paired very well with the food. Especially the Falanghina, which was like a combination of Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio. The flavors and chill of the wine nicely offset or balanced the spiciness inherent in the food. Would definitely come back here again.
