Sparrow & Wolf
The whole experiment was wonderful! Food, service, wine Captain. We’ll be back for sure! Thanks to the team
Sparrow & Wolf was everything we expected and more. If our stomachs would have allowed us, we would have ordered everything on the menu. Out of the 8 dishes we did order, it was impossible to pick a favorite. Each dish held its own culinary surprise(s). The thought, detail and TLC put into each dish was evident. Nourishing, fun, delicious. Eagerly awaiting our next visit...
Insane food. Incredible service. Will be back again...
This is an upscale, eclectic neighborhood for carnivores and herbivores alike! We recommend the tasting menu to experience the vast array of small plate dishes from around the world. The wine pairing adds to the experience. We spent three hours there enjoying every morsel and never having to wait. Service is amazing-- expert and friendly. This is not a fancy restaurant, but rather a connoisseur's delight!
Came here for work for inspiration...tried almost everything, and it was absolutely fantastic. Presentation, balance of flavors, textures, temperatures...all top notch. Proper cocktails to boot.
Excellent food, well thought out menu with helpful and friendly service in a fun atmosphere
Do not let the Chinatown strip mall location deter you from making the short drive from the Strip to Sparrow + Wolf. This was our favorite meal of our trip and we had some excellent ones! The signature cocktails were super creative, interesting and fun to try. I often only recognized the base spirit but few of the other ingredients and was wonderfully surprised with how balanced each drink was. My husband and I ordered several dishes to share. Our favorites were the grilled oysters, slow roasted bone marrow, lamb tartare, and the slow roasted cauliflower. The service was friendly and attentive and our server was well-informed about each of the dishes. She helped us choose not only the right amount of dishes but guided us based on flavors and preferences. I will absolutely go back to dine again next trip to Las Vegas and recommend Sparrow + Wolf highly.
Definitely will go back. Did have a wait even though we had a reservation, but they brought our drinks to us in the lobby and were very entertaining.
Great food. Excellent, warm and friendly wait staff. Was a great dining experience.
We made a last minute reservation on a Saturday afternoon to try local restaurant away from the crazy hype of the Las Vegas strip.
This was perfect. The ambience, the service, the food...all wonderful for a date or a larger group of people!
We started with drinks and oysters (highly recommend the cocktails and you MUST try the miso butter oysters!)
Highlight of our meal was the jerk cauliflower. It became a running theme throughout the rest of the trip - what we would give for an entire meal dedicated to the cauliflower!!! Other great dishes were the prosciutto board, the romanesco and the mushrooms!
Truly a gem in Las Vegas and we will definitely be returning! It’s so worth it.
We had 8 items to share between 4 people. The steel head trout and chips was absolutely delicious. None of us cared for the beet and apple tartare.
The foie gras was rich but so delicious and visually appealing.
The scallops were slightly over cooked, but the mole sauce they rested on was scrumptious. The cauliflower was okay. I did not taste the jerk seasoning!! The dumplings were okay as was the osso bucci ravioli.
Great tasty creative food!
Would highly recommend
1. Reverence Steelhead Trout Chips and Dip
2. Beet and Green apple tartare
3. Chinatown Clam Casino
4. Wood Grilled Cauliflower
5. Osso Buco Tortellini
6. Japanese Sweet Potato
7. Black Sesame Panna Cotta
8. Dark Chocolate Ganache
After reading the rave reviews, we decided to try this restaurant. We chose the tasting menu . Nice sampling with lots unique flavors .
A must for lovers of food and atmosphere. Staff is great.
Your service and hostess are a little rough around the edges. Maybe that is what you are going for. But do not let customers wait while your hostess takes telephone calls.
Easy to get to and lots of parking available. Service was good and food was phenomenal. Be ready to indulge and enjoy every second of it!
Fantastic as always. This place never disappoints!
Really awesome meal! We made a mistake and ordered wine instead of one of their hand crafted cocktails! The mixologist at the bar provided us with a show during our meal. Do not miss the trout dip. Really great value! 4 drinks 4 plates 150$ without tip. We started eating off the Vegas strip last trip because we felt we were getting not great food for a huge price. Vegas has a super exciting food scene if you get off the strip!
From the fabulous service to the music to every sip and bite it was all perfect. Thank you for a lovely dinner. Hope to be back one day.
We were in town for a meeting and decided to go off the strip. We didn’t know much about Sparrow and Wolf but liked the website/menu. The welcome was warm and we enjoyed everything we tried. There were just two of us but I wished there were more so we could sample more dishes. Great wine list as well as wines by the glass. Fairly full on a Monday night, showing local support.
Best flavors of food I've had in a long time! Amazing place to have food and drinks. Service was incredible. Definently going back!
Great restaurant that is a true gem in Las Vegas. It’s located far off the strip where the fusion cuisine was simply amazing and I look forward to returning.
Lamb was under seasoned, scallops were cooked perfectly the over foofooed. Banzino was pretty good. Wine was great
Food was pricey for the very small portions. While dishes like the uni melt and the Japanese sweet potato were certainly innovative, their taste fell pretty flat. The octopus was probably the best of the six dishes that we had, but there was scarcely two small pieces of octopus for each of the three of us.
Excellent good. Get the bone marrow.
Another incredible meal at my Favorite off strip vegas restaurant , Chef Brian and staff never disappoint , our server Destyn and Rocky made the experience that much better thank you all so much again for a great time with amazing food .... and drinks !
Excellent service, good food, great drinks. The ambiance and noise level were ok. Innall a great anniversary meal.
The food was phenomenal. I was worried going in about the high percentage of vegetarian offerings as that typically isn't my jam but the mitake mushroom was just as good as the bone marrow. Every dish exploded with flavor, texture, and contrast. The service was slightly lacking at times. We arrived with 15 minutes to sneak in a happy hour drink/dish but our server didn't get to us in time.... I also had to flag him down once to get an order in as it had been a while since he was at our table. For two drinks and 7 or 8 sharing dishes, including desert, it was just over $200. A little spendy but a great overall experience.
Over-rated. Food was not seasoned well and very average for what was promised and the prices
My wife and I have lived in Las Vegas for 4 years now. We have gone to most of the talked about places. Sparrow and Wolf was by far the best food we have had in this city. Everything was full of flavor and heat. Perfectly balanced combos of sweet and savory. We will be returning soon to try what we didn’t get this visit. Well done to all who made the experience an amazing one.
Great food and wine selection; enjoyed the sharing menu concept. Everything was eonderful!
We did the Prix Fixe menu for Valentine's Day and it was phenomenal! Loved the potato soup and shrimp dumplings. I'm an odd duck who doesn't like chocolate so the dessert wasn't my favorite but it looked cute. I'll definitely be coming back to try their regular menu.
We had the Valentines Day menu which was excellent. Food was perfectly prepared and service was outstanding. The only slight negative is we ordered the foie gras from the regular starters menu and their take on that was a bit unconventional. It was too sweet and had a thin consistentcy although it was still good.
Service was great. A little confusion on the menu as a new-be. The Labyrinth Wine was not very good, in fact my spouse was so turned off she didn’t drink more than the initial glass. I thought it got better with food pairing but she was disappointed and turned off after the first sip, just too nice to say anything. Staff was very complimentary and educated us on flavors, etc. I thought the food choices were delicious. Overall the experience was great and I will be back.
Sparrow & Wolf is an amazing restaurant...good beer selection, delicious food and some of the best/attentive/friendly service...our server, Brittany, is awesome...we ordered 7 items off the menu and she coursed out our meal based on our selections...it was an awesome dining experience...our favorite bites are the osso bucco and the uni melt, both incredible...I highly recommend Sparrow & Wolf
This was suggested by someone that had lived in Vegas. They said it was a great place and they weren’t kidding. We lived it. Very different foods. Small bites so you can get several different things and share them Service was great. Very attentive. Would definitely go back when in town
Delicious unique fusion food. Worth your time to stop in.
Enjoyed some great food at Sparrow & Wolf! The lamb neck and scallop entries were both excellent. We also enjoyed the foie gras and chicken liver on toast appetizer. We tried the cauliflower appetizer which consisted of nicely seasoned cauliflower that was fried in a light batter. We would have enjoyed the cauliflower more without the batter. Service staff were personable and professional. We had a great meal and enjoyed being off the Vegas strip.
