The food was excellent. This was my second dining experience here and I enjoyed it both times. It was a little bit chilly and a little too dark for my liking, but the food is so good. I had a veal dish. It was tender and wasn't drowned in tomato sauce. I'm hoping they will add a little to the ambiance - something to make it more cozy.

Please don't put cheese on the food unless stated on the menu. Next time I'll know to say NO cheese.
The hostess wasn’t warm, so first impression wasn’t great. Made the reservation over 5 weeks prior, but got the least desirable table for 2 in the space. Service was very good. Food was ok Pasta a bit over cooked. The veal was good. There was a private event taking place upstairs and clearly they were dancing or running. Sounded like stomping on the ceiling. Just a bit disappointing.
We were seated promptly. Waiter was friendly & courteous. Food was delicious. Also always enjoy a restaurent that has specials. Will definitely be going back again & trying new items in their menu.
I visited many dining options in Avalon and Stone Harbor, we are locals since 1993.
Many restaurants have good food and service but Spiaggetta definitely surpasses all of them in taste and hospitality. Many italian restaurants have a very similar menu, Spiaggetta does not; many owners and good managers are on the premises, but Marco's personality ( on my opinion) is charming and really make you dining experience unique for the shore. Roman cuisine is real and true to the full of flavors, no "american style dish " here. Oxtail Pappardelle were so tasty that we had to re-order a second portion to share at our table. Cacio e Pepe , original and simple , was a winner at the table. Chicken Parmigiana ( a real test for many local restaurant) was tasty and it was not swimming in sauce. Last main course we ordered was the Porchetta ( another Roman specialty) : super tasty meat and crunchy and crispy skin, definitely a favorite. We also shared the Meatballs and the Buffalo mozzarella. All is prepared well and full of taste. Kudo to Spiaggetta for bringing something different in the area.
It was great to return to Spiaghetta. . As always Marko made us feel welcome and made the evening enjoyable. Food was delicious. The salad of buffalo Mozzerella and beets was very good. The Ceasar salad was great. The Grilled Shrimp with Rissoto was phenomenal. Every bite was memorable. The spaghetti Ciacio was very good. Covid protocols were adhered to. We will be back
Upscale slick modern Italian decor, love the selection of dishes. Branzino was excellent with two filets and crispy skin! Yum!
We traveled a bit to come to this restaurant due to the rating of 4.6 out of 5. It's about an hour drive and thats about an hour drive too far. I'm sure if you're staying down at the beach for any period of time it's a fine go to for mediocre food at best. The chef was walking around the dining room but not in the normal sense, it was slow and he was kind of lurking. I had veal parm, it was deep fried, not pan fried and you could taste the oil (not olive oil) it tasted quite oily. Pasta was done perfect for both my wife's and my dish. The grilled octopus was clearly not done enough, I do not even think it was grilled at all but more than likely blanched but definitely not grilled. Disappointing to say the least. Once again uncertain on how these places get such high ratings. I feel like the rating bar was definitely lowered on this place. Sorry, will not be a returning customer.
This was our third time at Spiaggetta and it was EXCELLENT as always! Wonderful service, exquisite food, and beautiful ambiance! Thank you and keep doing what you are doing!

Parking was easy in their lot behind the restaurant. We were seated and greeted quickly. We had chicken parm and scallops both were very good. We live close by and plan to return soon.

Marco, the owner is very welcoming and a great host. The food was exceptional, ie., calamari appetizer. The entrees were very good, while the service was also exceptional.
Perfect. Personal service made our evening special and unique. Treated us like family. Then the comes out! Wow, appetizers each perfect, entrees delicious and ample. Deserts wohoo. Party.

Wonderful fresh pasta overseen by a caring owner. The gnocchi were some of the bar we’ve had with just the right amount of Gorgonzola. The zucchini flower appetizer was very good with the flower tasting a little sweeter than typical zucchini. We both had a pasta dish as clearly pasta it’s not to be missed here. The bolognese was just like you would have in Italy. Highly recommended
First time here and was not disappointed. Food was prepared in the traditional Italian method. Very simple tasty ingredients, perfectly portioned. I will go again.

The Entree ‘Special,’ which was spaghetti in a scampi sauce with shrimp and lump crabmeat was sub par. Too much sauce, too little crab (maybe three very tiny chunks), and small shrimp (medium sized at most).
Excellent dinner. Never disappoints.

The eggplant parmesan is delicious and the service was terrific! We were there to celebrate my friend's birthday and the server surprised her with a cannoli complete with a candle for her celebration. This was very thoughtful and much appreciated!

New Years Eve dinner was great, well prepared, well timed and well presented. We’ve dined here several times during the last year and they’ve dealt with everything thrown at them. Through this strange year the outstanding food and great service didn’t stop. Couldn’t have been at a better place to welcome 2021!
