   I was really looking forward to the Ahi Tuna salad but unfortunately it was very bland. Lettuce with Tuna and sesame seeds and what I thought wan supposed to be Mango salsa but looked like bits of oranges. Very disappointing!

   Dined here with a larger group and was thoroughly impressed with how amazing the service was. They had a wide range of apps our entire party could enjoy, and my salmon was cooked to absolute perfection. Will definitely be returning!

   i went here with a friend recently and i was hoping for a good meal. first we ordered tacos which came out very quickly, but after that things took a turn for the worse. my friend ordered sweetened tea (which they served unsweetened and still charged us for even though we didn’t drink more than a sip). then we ordered 2 burgers, ordered rare and medium rare but they both came out over well done. the service was very poor and we had to keep asking for boxes, for the check, for water, etc. worst restaurant experience in cincinnati

   Had a fabulous dinner for four the other night. Drink special of Delicious hibiscus infused vodka - made in house - mixed with berries and citrus yum! The ahi tuna salad was a hit as was the homemade papardelle pasta, had with grilled salmon which came out hot and crisp. Ghost pepper chicken sandwich was deemed suitably spicy and the flourless chocolate torte was delectable! Atmosphere is warm and inviting and service was friendly and allowed you to set your own pace - we were not rushed at all which was a terrific bonus! Would highly recommend!

   The ambiance fooled us, and so did the reviews. The service was attentive and friendly, however that may be due to the number of empty seats in the place. If the food could be rated below 1 star then it would easily be pushing -5. The mac and cheese ($16) was clearly made with cheap shredded cheese that had begin to solidify by the time it reached the table. The ahi tuna was worthy of one bite. The drinks tasted as if they were made with the cheapest of mixers, and don’t event bother with the espresso martini; chocolate milk or Yoo-hoo is more like it. This was a major disappointment, and a place everyone should avoid. Being attached to a holiday inn should have been our first red flag. Kudos to their interior designer.

   The decor felt like a high-end steak house, but the menu was more like a pub. The food was great, but seemed strange in the setting. The wait staff was strange, particularly one very loud waiter who kept calling me “Mommie”.

   We tried this restaurant as it was close to the Aranoff center. The service was great, it was clean and the food was ok. It just was not what we had expected. It was more spicy than we expected. I had the Salmon and it was awesome. My wife and 13 year old daughter had the Chicken and Waffles, the syrup was very spicy, not what we expected. The description of the Chicken and Waffles says: Panko breaded chicken breast, American-style waffle, hot maple syrup. No where does it say it is a spicy syrup. The chicken was very thin with a thick crust of Panko breading. But the spicy syrup was all over the entire plate, it just was not appealing to our taste. My other daughter had the wings and they were good.

    The French Onion soup was delicious! In fact my friend ordered two servings one after the other for herself! Compliments to the Chef! We plan to return to Spoon & Cellar for Happy Hour one afternoon very soon. There is only one thing missing and that is "live music" during Happy Hour or into the evening. There are many local bands or musicians that would love to play at this location......

    We went for dinner before a play in the Aranoff Center. We chose the place because is only 2-3 blocks from the theater. The place was empty! so it was very quiet, which I like. I could have a conversation with my friends. The waiter was super friendly and nice. I even talk to him i Spanish and Portuguese! I had the filet mignon, which was done perfect for me. I also had a house salad, which was simple but very good. My friends also enjoy their food, the chicken and waffles was tasty. IF you do not want to deal with the crowds and noise and you have a good meal I recommended.

    6 of us for dinner and the aronoff We have come here many times and know the quality is always wonderful. Our server was fantastic. Manager is engaging and everyone was pleasant and smiling.     First time we had eaten there. I had read the reviews and noted that some were good while others had several complaints. I must say we were completely satisfied with Spoon and Cellar. Our host sat us right away and Lilly, our server came to our table promptly and greeted us. We can't say enough about Lilly. She was a joy to have as our server. She readily engaged us in conversation . The food was just what we expected. My wife had the salmon and she said it was excellent. I had the French Dip and it was great too. Stupid me, I left my card in the bill book and Lilly noticed this and she ran us down to return it to me. Thank You Lilly. We will go back.

    We had dinner here after a matinee at the Aranoff Center, from which this restaurant is a short walk. It's in a modern hotel, but the building design separates the restaurant fully from the lobby area, and the street view is appealing. Our server was prompt and attentive, and the food -- one diner had a filet and the other a salmon -- was cooked to perfection and very tasty! The cost was appropriate and definitely not inflated. This was definitely not a noisy place when we were there, which is just to my liking since it was easy to have a conversation. I would rate this restaurant a good value for very good food. We will go to Spoon & Cellar again in the future. Thanks!

    No host. Not a customer in sight. Only a bartender who is hidden behind a giant sculpture. The bartender was very casual, shouted to his coworker and had trouble reading the crowd with his jokes and “wit”. Food was tasty although plated like a diner.

    We had a great start to our girls night. We requested a more private booth and staff accommodated us. Our server, Nick, was so much fun. The cocktails were so tasty and the food was phenomenal.     Food was wonderful, drinks were fantastic, and service was excellent. We were running a bit late before going to see a show so we rushed our server, Nick, a bit but he understood and did an excellent job. Nick is top notch and with his personality he made our dining experience very fun. We hope to go back and request Nick as our server.     It was great! At first, it was hard to find someone who could seat us for our reservation. We ended up just sitting at the bar. It was pretty dead inside so we were worried but the food was great! We got appetizers, a salad, and pasta. I had a glass of wine and it was all great; a little pricey for the quality of food but definitely a cute spot downtown that deserves more attention.

    The drinks were great, and the food was pretty good it would have been better but my wife's filet was like a hokey puck. She ordered it Medium and it came out well done. She didn't want to say anything and have to wait for the food to be re-cooked because we were running short on time due to a show we were going to see. Service was fine. The manager was seen going around and asking tables how their food was which was a good thing. If the Steak was cooked properly it would have been a 4 star review. I am positive that if we spoke to the manager she would have fixed the issue immediately. Overall I would recommend I just wouldn't expect the place to blow your socks off.

    Great spot. Very convenient. The wait staff was extremely friendly and service was excellent. This place is very large and seemingly always has room for a last minute night out. Convenient to Arnoff and Hard Rock casino.

    Our server started off very kind and very knowledgeable about the questions we had for her. However our trip turned horrible very quickly. We got there at 5:30 pm and ordered a round of cocktails and we had one person with us who couldn’t drink and our server took it with grace and found a mocktail she loved. Then when we asked about wine she got the bartender for us, who we absolutely adored and he was fantastic! As he brought the wine over and tended to us we had put in 2 appetizer orders around 5:45. By 6:15 we had not been checked on nor had we received our appetizers. When we had arrived the dining room was empty and soon our server had 3 other tables, completely understandable she was busy but she avoided our table after the bartender had checked on us. By 6:30 we began to worry our food hadn’t been put in and the bartender happened to walk by and was concerned we hadn’t been checked on by our server. Finally a “manager” (I use that word loosely because he actions didn’t show he was of manager material) walked over while he had food in his mouth and was chewing he said sorry for the wait I can buy you a round of drinks. We explained we had a play to get to and couldn’t wait, that we needed the bill. He came back tossed a bill at us and walked away before we could explain that it wasn’t our bill. I was talking to him trying to explain what we got and he turned his back to us and walked away as I was speaking. Finally a real manager walked over and kindly spoke to us that since we had only received drinks in the hour and 15 minutes we had been there that our check would be taken care of. I explained to him that we weren’t upset at the server because we understood she was new and we loved the bartender but the “manager” that had approached us while chewing food and walked away while we were talking to him was the issue. I had never felt so disrespected and disgusted at a “managers” appearance. The second manager who was in a brown tweed jacket was kind!

    Food and service was good but...Restaurant is attached to the Holiday inn on the edge of downtown. Huge restaurant that was nearly empty with only a few diners. Lighting was too bright. Can recommend food but not the ambiance.
