The corned beef hash is fantastic! It comes with flash fried poached eggs. My husband was in heaven! I never order that meal and I even have to say that was really really good.

Great ambiance and great date night spot. However, I didn’t find the food to be all that flavorful. I don’t usually add salt to meals, but the food wasn’t as flavorful as I was hoping, and ended up needing something extra. Notably, the staff was awesome and very accommodating. Not a bad meal, but definitely lacked the wow factor.

Enjoyed the warm night for an outside dining by the harbour. The food was tasty and waiter was super helpful and friendly.

My wife and I live nearby, and like Provisions State Street as a convenient nice place to have a nice lunch, Sunday brunch or dinner, as we did (again) several days ago. A particular bonus is if you can schedule an early dinner between 4:00-6:00 when $1 oysters are available. The food has always been very good and often creative. Our only complaint in these coronavirus limited menu times is that I wish there were a few more entrees offered.

We requested outdoor seating because of Covid.
We both had the buck a shuck oysters served between 4-6. The special for the night was Wellfleet oysters and they were delicious.
I had the Lobster Bisque and it was flavorful with chunks of Lobster meat.
We both had the Steak Frites and it was very good.
We were there for a Birthday Celebration and were treated with a petite Chocolate dessert with a candle.
We recommend.

A friend and I enjoyed a pleasant meal at State Street Provisions on a recent Sunday. The food we had (burger and fish & chips) was very good, the wine was reasonably priced, and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. This was one of the first times we've eaten in a restaurant in many months and couldn't have been happier with our experience.

Went for brunch, the Eggs Benny were delicious, and the calamari was amazing.
The manager was sanitizing after the tables had been cleared. He sanitized everything including the booths, the chairs, the menu board and everything else. The server was amazing too. 10/10

The food + drinks were fabulous! Our server, Max, was friendly and accommodating. I'll be thinking of those crispy fried eggs over corned beef hash for quite some time...and I don't think I'll be able to have a Bloody Mary without a beer chaser from now on!

First impression was the hostess was not hospitable at all! She told us to wait after we checked in, then she forgot about us and started sitting other customers that arrived after us (even though we had reservations). But after that, the food and service were amazing!!

Yummy brunch! We arrived very hungry and left quite full. Service and food was very nice. Pleasant outdoor location.

Perfect Saturday night out ! Oysters, pizza and street corn were amazing !

Had dinner on 9/25/20 and start to finish, everything was great. We started at a table outside and as it started to get dark and rather chilly, we asked to be moved inside and the hostess willingly moved us to a nice table right near the bar. The food (spicy chicken sandwich and calabrian pizza) was great - the chicken sandwich was delicious, cooked perfectly and came with a nice, freshly tossed salad and nice, hot french fries. The calabrian pizza was thin crust and served hot - it was delicious. Service was attentive and our server was very friendly. We will definitely be back!

Fries were as salty as the bartender who balked at changing the channel from US Open tennis as opposed to game 7 of Celts v. Raptors

Everything was outstanding! The meat and combined cheese board were fantastic and the calamari plate might be the best I have had in Boston. We will be back!!!

We've been to Boston many times. We always fit it in at least once a year. As many times as we have been there we never ate at Provisions, but decided to give it a try. I wish we tried it years ago! The food was amazing and the service was great. We will definitely be back next time in we are in Boston

We love this place and have had great food here before. Menu seems to have changed however and not so good for vegetarians. The cheese in the past had been superb (Vermont Creamery cheeses featured) but this visit were disappointing- rather dried out. Would still visit again.

Good food but nothing special. Liked that we could take our dog to the outdoor area. Hostess was not friendly at all, seemed annoyed. Server was nice

Excellent from start to finish. We started with dollar oysters. CeCe our server could not have been more excellent. She was kind funny and we had a great experience with her. Found you all on open table believe a review there as well. Food was excellent, service was excellent, joints were excellent. What more can you say.

Food was delicious as always! Love the outdoor seating expansion.
