Sticky Fingers - Downtown Greenville

The service was amazing.
The waiter was great. My friend and I wanted the baked potato which is only at lunch time but he made it happen.
I was so pleased to get a reservation before a show at the Peace Center. My daughters and friends enjoyed the dinner and we will return.
Nobody in restaurant but waitress kept rushing us to order, eat and pay our bill. Food not great. Ribs had been overcooked and french fries were obviously sitting around for a while & stale. Very disappointed.
Were seated immediately, with reservation, which was Great. Food was very good. The women’s restroom was having a problem - there were no working toilets. Other than restroom issue, it was a good place to eat
Food was good but we thought pricey for what you got...our bill was $62.00 for the two of us. We each had a drink, my husband ordered 9 wings and I had a barbecue platter plus we shared an order of onion loaf.
Our waiter was quite good but the bar and kitchen seemed a bit slow. The ambiance is very casual. The booths with hard wood benches are uncomfortable if you are there for awhile.
All in all it was OK - probably won’t go back.
"Sticky Fingers" conjures up images of juicy, fall-off-the bone ribs slathered in a "sticky" barbecue sauce which gets all over one's fingers, lips and anywhere else it touches. Instead, the ribs we were served were dry (yes, you have your choice of sauces to sprinkle on top of the dry-rubbed ribs) and contained a good bit of gristle. The barbecue sandwich was a little better but still not the sweet Carolina barbecue that is our personal preference (and it didn't come with red slaw, either). As a result, I can't recommend this Sticky Fingers as much as I would like to do so.
One server handled birthday party plus multiple tables resulting in less attention to all except the party.
Good food slow service.
Food was delicious and the service was impeccable!
Ate late on a recent Sunday evening. Large table of about 15-20 that seemed to suck all the staff. Food was okay but I think the food suffered from end of the night/end of week. Was not bad but just okay. Went due to being part of United Mileage Plus Dining program.
Good food and service.
Table was sticky and we got seated by a window where the sun was beating in on us. Asked server to close the blind but she said she couldn't cause the blinds been broken for several months. So moved to another sticky table. Food was ok but small portions and over cooked. 2 different music playing and dumb trivia game going on over top it all. Probably not going back
The ribs were tough and fatty. IThe baked beans were canned and so were the collards were also. My girlfriend had chicken and it was pretty good. Our server was very good and we enjoyed her. We had a great Fourth of July but our BBQ experience at Sticky Fingers was not good at all. No need to return to this location for ribs.
It was great, food was amazing. It was very hot where we were sitting. The waitress was stated that customers were trying to move to a different area because of the heat. But overall everything was great
My family has been supporters of Sticky Fingers since we ate at the original Mount Pleasant, SC many years ago. I never thought I would have a bad meal at one of their other SC restaurants. The downtown Greenville restaurant is a far cry from other Sticky Fingers restaurants. The staff including the hostesses and the waiter were unfriendly. We were sitting across the way from an open door to the kitchen. Folks in there were taking selfies and laughing it up while customers were waiting to be served. The waiter was in, my opinion, bordering on rudeness the few times he came to the table. When he did come to our table he paid more attention to the booth beside us, chatting about a baseball game. The friendliest person in the restaurant was the bearded fellow who brought our food. I appreciated his friendliness and courtesy.
We waited forever for someone to take drink orders and then for our food. The restaurant wasn't busy, but our waiter was also the bartender. He did his best and was really nice. My son ordered nachos as his main dinner, but they came out way ahead of everyone else's food. We had 3 separate checks for our party of 9, and apparently the kitchen didn't understand that we were all seated together, so the food came in waves. Can't believe that this is a common occurrence for tables with separate checks. Also, they were out of 3 side dishes-including french fries. What restaurant runs out of fries?? The food was good and I could have understood having issues if they were slammed, but the place was fairly empty & it was Father's Day. I would have thought they would be more prepared. We will be back since this was not our first visit and have not had prior issues, but it was definitely a strange experience.
We had a great experience! Our service, I can’t remember his name (I so wish I could) but he was the sweetest guy! He was tall skinny black guy with the sweetest smile and the kindest attitude! He even held hands with our family as we prayed! He kept our glasses full and was very attentive to all 17 of us! The food was so good! Taste, temperature, and timeliness of the meal was perfect!! You won’t be sorry if you choose Sticky Fingers in Greenville, SC!!!
The food and service are good. The restaurant is not very clean so you have to not be a germ-a-phob to eat here. The menus are really disgusting. They need to think about getting new ones.
Friendly wait staff. Excellent Barbecue. Seemed like a fairly good bar crowd.
Made a reservation because this place is known for having long wait times. Arrived only to be told even with a reservation there was a wait. Decided to sit at the bar instead. The bartender gets 5 🌟. The restaurant feels dirty, the food was mediocre at best and in comparison to nearby barbecue spots, Sticky Fingers just falls short. I'd call this a tourist trap more than anything and I doubt many locals would recommend it.
Took 25 minutes to seat us and the entire back room was open.
The Ribs and pulled pork were fantastic. Other items (e.g., chicken, sides) were so-so. Unfortunately, the restrooms were very dirty and messy, which marred our impression of the restaurant.
Excellent service by Jake; good portions and excellent food. All in all, a great find by an airline crew-member on a layover in Greenville
Great food and great service. Use open table to reserve a time. They're popular and busy.
This was not our first time in a Sicky Fingers and the food was as expected. It is a good place to get a quick meal and enjoy comfort food. Our waiter was excellent and made sure we were wrll taken care of. When back in Greenville, we would not hesitate to go back again and eat here.
Der Pulled Pork Bürger war sehr lecker. Die Fries waren super crispy
While the food was excellent, the best thing about this restaurant was our server! He made several recommendations and they were spot on. The food was good. We enjoyed the pulled chicken, pulled pork and the chicken fingers (kids). We will go back when we return to Greenville, and we will ask for our server.
Ribs were dry. Service was terrible. Very inattentive waiter.
We visited Sticky Fingers with our friends after going to the Peace Center. We all enjoyed an excellent meal and great service from Adam. The ribs with the sweet sauce were to die for! Pulled pork, chicken fingers and fried onions were all excellent. Since it was a Sunday afternoon, the noise level was very low, which was great. We will be back!
Barb, Thank you for taking the time to pass along some of the details from your visit with us. I will let Adam know that you mentioned him in your review. See you again soon!
Olivia was the best!!
We had great food, Memphis style ribs and smoked chicken. Local craft beers were $3, so that was a winner! It is a sports bar atmosphere where we sat to watch the playoff games, so the extra noise was expected. Great service, too, even though the waiter appeared to be overloaded. We thought that someone didn't show up to wait tables, so he got extra duty. He managed it well.
Thank you, Karen. Happy to hear that you guys enjoyed your visit. See you again very soon!
Took 10 minutes to get seated, then we sat at the table for another 15 minutes and no one even came to the table. We walked out and went across the street. Hire some help.
Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I apologize that we were not able to give you the service that you have the right to expect from us. I hope that you will try us again.
Great no-frills barbecue! Had the pulled pork dinner with vegetable sides. Sauces were on the sweet side, but good!
Bo the bartender was awesome the waiter and waitress was also awesome the manager tipped me where the free beer. Kudos to the downtown crew.
