Had the perch for the first time. Excellent and a huge portion of sweet potato fries.

Service outstanding. Relaxed atmosphere even with the challenges of COVID. My husband was treated royally for his birthday with chocolate fudge brownie cake for dessert. Best he had ever tasted outside of homemade. Steak done as requested with lots of veggies done just right on the side. My perch dinner wonderful as always. Great selection of wines.

The food was delicious and a night out was far overdue. This was the perfect place for a drink, a bite and some socialising.

ALWAYS a delicious meal at Stillwaters! Mussels were cooked to perfection and the daily special of a turkey burger was excellent. Still one of our favourite restaurants. And the tables were spaced well enough that we felt comfortably distanced from fellow diners.

Service was AWESOME!!! Food was GREAT!! Restaurant was impeccably clean!

My son ordered the Nashville style chicken and he said it had none of the flavor of Nashville that he was expecting. Looking out at water-even cold , dark water was a treat and I suspect the setting must be spectacular on a sunny day

Dinner was absolutely wonderful our waitress was amazing we had a good time social distancing and we came in with our masks on always good thank you very much your staff were amazing very helpful and professional😊

First time visiting Stillwaters, absolutely loved it, will be back.

Two of the people in our group ordered Spicy Chipotle pasta. It was supposed to have chicken in it. Both did not. I did not think about the ingredients until the next day and looked up the menu on their website. I have had this dish before and it was great and much more filling. Lol. Now I know why.

Food was amazing - ordered off their "winter menu".

Food was great as always and our server Kim was a treat !

My steak was a little over done but I didn't send it back as it was ok next time I will, other than that all was very good.

A reminder was even sent before hand. Nice table by the window with view of river. We ordered from date night menu. Many choices to choose from. The appetizer portion was exceptional (nacho platter) I ordered the steak and my partner the pickerel...both excellent meals. Will definately return!

To be honest, it was a little disappointing. Stillwater’s has always been a favourite restaurant of ours in the past. This time, my pulled pork on a bun was cold and replaced with another which was not a lot warmer, and the fries were very dry and didn’t taste freshly made. My husband had a chicken Caesar, which should have gone back, but he didn’t want to make a fuss after I’d already sent mine back.The chicken was dried out and the salad had very little in it but lettuce, and next to no dressing. Very tasteless he said. We drove from Port Dover to meet our daughter at Stillwater’s for a bit of a birthday celebration, as it has always been our favourite place to meet with family in the past. Hopefully this was a one of experience.

We always enjoy coming to Stillwater’s. The portions are good and the food is served in a pleasing manner. The service is prompt but you don’t feel rushed. Easy to make reservations as well.

We had an excellent meal with great service. There is a great view of the river.

Very astute waitress. My friend and I shared the peach salad and the pulled pork sandwich with fries. The waitress brought us the salad already split into 2 large plates. Very often restaurants bring the salad and an extra bread plate and we have to separate it and try to give an equal portion to the bread plate, and it is often messy. It was nice to have it come already split. I gave the waitress an extra tip for this

I took my gf out for her 50th birthday to Plate and Pour on a recommendation from a friend. As we live close to Stoney Creek it as a bit of a drive to get there. The drive was well worth it. The restaurant was not too busy, limited numbers due to covid, The food was quick and soooo good. Our waitress was great as well, Kim.
I would have given a 5 star rating across the board, but due to covid and the limited numbers, the ambiance was a bit more subdoed then I am sure is the usual. This is in no way the restaurants fault, but worth mentioning.
Overall this was an amazing dinner and experience and fully recommend it. :)

We were received a warm welcome on entering the restaurant, and our reservation immediately recognized. After a few quick instructions regarding COVID-19 procedures, we were ushered to our table and welcomed again with water. Our server took our wine order very quickly - and returned in short order. After allowing us to relax and enjoy the ambience (and river views), our server returned to receive our meal order. I enjoyed a butternut squash pasta selection - cooked perfectly.
Later, we enjoyed coffees post lunch. Compliments to our server for her attention, and to the restaurant for allowing us to linger a little bit.
This is our fourth visit to this restaurant, and they have never disappointed.

Always great food and great service. The perch dinner is hands down the best around.

Tuesday Night All You Can Eat Mussels were outstanding!

Excellent food & lovely server. The only negative comment I have is the couple seated near us talked loudly & discussed their personal lives.
It put a bit of a damper on our evening. But not a reflection on Stillwaters in general.

We enjoyed our dinner here. Food and atmosphere was good. It was dark so we didn’t see the River. Will try to get back during the day.

We have travelled in to Paris several times and always try for lunch at Stillwaters. Made our reservation for two over a week in advance and the requested seating area was not available... we ended up at the front overlooking the street (still, very nice) but were seated close to overly loud eldery ladies which made our visit a bit less enjoyable.
