Stoke Coal Fire Pizza
Prompt Courteous service
Atmosphere was Great
The food was amazing, great taste. Our waitress was super attentive, knew the menu really well and was able to offer a bunch of suggestions. She was fantastic.
The only negative was we called 5 minutes before the reservation to find out where we were and why we weren't there yet. I asked wasn't our reservation not til 5:45 and she told me yes but she just needed to know now. It was very strange and she wasn't friendly. When we got there there were plenty of open tables. Not sure why this was done when we weren't even late. It was def off-putting.
The food and service of our waitress made up for it. But definitely not a great first impression of the place.
Stopped in after a movie
Great food served by a friendly staff. A small hiccup with the order was rectified quickly. Can’t wait to go back
Great food and drinks but extremely loud for conversations
Live band was a surprise for a Tuesday night
Pizza were delicious!
Little things count...salad delivered to table but no plates or silverware. Asked server for these items and he completely forgot. after about 5 minutes of trying to get his attention another waitperson saw what was going on and jumped to the rescue! Anyway, we love STOKE! Great food, great location and ambiance and very nice staff :)
The owner was very visible and accommodating to our party. The server was excellent and the food was delicious!!
My wife family and i have eaten here numerous times since it opened. The food is very consistent. This place has one of the best wing dishes i have ever had from coast to coast. We also would highly recommend the polenta sticks.
We enjoy all of Stoke's pizzas. The recently added apple bacon is unusually creative and savory. Keep up the great work!
My wife ordered a chicken sandwich and had a couple of things excluded from it. After the waitress Confirmed everything that she did not want on it, it was still on the sandwich on it and she was very upset about it.
I love, love the vibe of Stoke! Also, must have a Gentleman's Fig and wings!
Great Pizza and apps.
The food is always great. I enjoy the atmosphere but it is loud. My husband's complaint is that it takes too long to get a drink.
Took 45 minutes to get appetizer. The temp of the appetizer was cool like it had been sitting for awhile but it tasted great. Sure it would have been even better hot.
We have been to and have enjoyed Stoke many times. They have great salads as well as their pizza. They have a full bar with drink and beer specials as well. It is great for lunch or dinner for adults or families after a day in Easton.
Always a great time
they have great food but the service is horrible! we waited about 5 mins before being greeted. we were seated 15 mins past our reservation time. we then waited over 30 mins for our appetizer which was just fries and only got them after asking someone (not our waitress as she disappeared) to check on them. this is the second time i’ve dined here and the second time the service was unacceptable.
I would eat Stoke’s pizza as my last meal if I was on death row.
Everything was great! Food was delicious and service was outstanding especially because they were very busy
Very loud inside, could not hear what the people I was with were saying.
The food was excellent; however we waited a VERY long time for our first drink.
Unfortunately my reservation thru the app was not visible to the restaurant so when we arrived, we didn’t have a table. Hostess quickly got a manager and within a few minutes the issue was resolved and we were seated. They were very accommodating and friendly. Would def go back again soon. 5 star rating
We had the pleasure of having Rose as our server and bartender. We kind of left our whole meal up to her and informed her of a gluten allergy. She ordered us a fungi pizza (amazing) and the gluten free winter vegetable Alfredo, and boy were they great. As someone who is in the industry, it is always refreshing to have such great service as Rose provided us. 10/10 would recommend!
Was a regular here. Food is great and portions are right. They use quality ingredients,. Place is lively and music is too loud. Space is way too cramped. Walked out after we were seated, drink order was taken and then we were placed on the "pay no mind" list for 20 minutes. Done.
Food is good, but the restaurant week menu had very small portions. It was extremely noisy to the point where you couldn’t have a conversation with others at your table. Server was very good. Usually pleased but this time was disappointing.
My chicken parm was delicious with the housemade pasta. My friend had a bunless burger that she feels was one of the best she has ever had. However, her fries were ice-cold. Although she said it wasn't necessary for fresh fries to be brought out, our sweetheart of a waiter, Michael, brought them anyway...still cold. We sat near the front of the restaurant and it was uncomfortably cold, even with the thick curtain covering the drafty doorway. We thought maybe some hot coffee to end our meal would warm us a bit, no chance. We were served a very light brown water that looked like iced tea and pretty much tasted like, well, warm water! The restaurant was beyond full with patrons so maybe having only three wait staff on duty had something to do with the shortcomings of the meal. Have eaten here before with great results. Will give it another try.
Thought the service (Courtney) was GREAT and the Food was VERY good. The energetic vibe is excellent. (although a bit too loud with the trivia contest)
In our time there we had 4 different people at our table to wait on us, every time there was an order mix up (drinks, salad didn’t come out, forgot dessert) they blamed the other person waiting on us. Then while we were still eating we were asked 3 times in a 10 minute period “can I wrap that up for you?” Like we were being rushed. The truffle fries were great but the pizza was just ok and the salad was not to my liking at all. The staff took our order without writing anything down and only got half the order right including drinks. Probably will not go back
Stoke Coal Fire Pizza is nicely located off the main circle. The place is friendly and the menu has some nice choices. I enjoyed the pizza. My 5 year old almost at the entire pie himself. I would recommend.
Had requested a standard height table on the open table site as we had a physically challenged diner with us. The restaurant reserved a high table that was not workable for our party. To their credit, they did their best to accommodate our request after they were informed of our need. They were unable to see the request on their end. The staff were all very nice, our food was brought out in a very timely manner.
The food is good but the service is slow and they seem a bit unorganized.
Great menu and excellent service! All the staff is friendly and attentive
To try something new, I ordered the polenta fries as an app. The “fries” were big and mealy - imagine French toast sticks. Aioli for dipping was good, but I had to ask for more. My pizza fungi Bianca pizza was good, but I didn’t like the caramelized onions (tasted like a sherry or something was added to sweeten the onions). My daughter’s burger was good, and her parm-truffle fries were perfect. My husbands pasta dish was not good. The waiter warned us that it is too lemony for some, but we like lemon, so we went for it. The dish had a lemon rind taste (the white bitter part, not simply zest). It tasted like old lemons do - almost like a cleaning agent. Overall, it was ok, but I’m not excited to go back.
The food is always fantastic but the last few times we've been to Stoke the service has not been great. We wait a long time to be greeted and then a long time for our drinks. The servers we've had recently are not attentive either.
The server was nice. We had a 4pm reservation and they had already sold out of most of their appetizers. The pizza was cold and the music was very, very loud.
Food was delicious, service was great. So happy the music was on at a reasonable level. Past experiences the music was playing so loud that conversations were difficult.. would definitely go back
Between the Gentleman's Fig and the wings.....sooo good. This was my friends first time and they loved it too!
Usually good pizza but tonight’s was over cooked / too many burnt edges and a little dry. Not typical. Booking music or trivia night seems unnecessary to me because the food is what draws people in. The space is too small for entertainment and it becomes so loud you have to shout across the table
The food at Stoke is really really delicious. We shared a Caesar salad, the house salad and three pizzas for 6 of us. Loved every bite. The cocktails were great too. This is a fun restaurant for a friends get together. We happened to be there during trivia night, which was fun, if unexpected. It is a bit of a loud restaurant so make sure you’re in the mood for a boisterous atmosphere. Service was perfect. Fun place; great food!
We had a really good experience at Stokes. The food & service were very good! My only complaint was that we sat in the very last booth & there was a speaker blaring music right above us. It was very hard to have a conversation with our friends who were visiting from Texas. I had asked two servers if it was possible to turn the music down but it was never addressed, which was disappointing.
