Stonewood Grill & Tavern - Jacksonville

Slow service. Sat at 635, dinner arrived around 745. Had to ask twice, was told we were next, served 20 minutes later

Excellent food, service & atmosphere 😎

Food was excellent and our server went above and beyond. We waited over an hour for our entree but appetizers and bread and drinks filled the gap just fine and it was worth the wait.

The service and food was excellent. We really enjoyed ourselves.

This is our 'go to' place to celebrate family occasions. We've come to realize that this dining experience is always pleasing.

The ambiance is laid back and conversational noise is at a minimum. The service is excellent and the menu has enough variety to keep it interesting. Gluten free menu options are a must for us and, thankfully, there are plenty of GF choices to suit our tastes. The food was exceptionally good, cooked to perfection, served hot, and very tasty; no complaints what-so-ever.

We look forward to our next dining experience at this gem of an eatery; one of Jacksonville's finest.

Our server, Alisa, as always was a joy. The food was great. Our time together as a family was great. Stonewood remains one of our favorites.

Went here for NYE dinner. Hadn’t been in awhile and thought this would be a great place for a casual dinner.

Portions are plentiful. We ended up splitting a wedge salad and a main. Blue cheese dressing on the wedge was awesome. Steak was cooked perfectly. Also ordered mushrooms as a topper and a side of creamed spinach. Creamed spinach was the only disappointment as it came out cold and was not as flavorful as I recall.

Overall. Good night. Good meal and we will be back

Based on the costs of meals I would expect better quality. Found food to taste no better then outback. Longhorn is better quality and better taste

The restaurant made it special for our anniversary, with flowers at the table and our choice of dessert on the house! Bruschetta was fantastic, he had steak and I had stuffed grouper. The chocolate bread pudding was to die for! We'll be back!

I booked a reservation for my wifes Birthday. I even marked it in the app. When we got there, no one acknowledged any thing except our name and time. We were seated promptly. When the food came out they skimped on the fries. Literally had more fries in a happy meal. Our waitress became increasingly scarce. We opted for desserts and was handed a menu, then our waitress disappeared. By the time she finally appeared our mood diminished and we asked for the check so we could just go home.

The server in the section next to us was by far more attentive to his section than our own server was.

No Birthday acknowledgement, small proportions for the sides and a non attentive waitress. I envied the other section.

Great food and great service in this real genuine neighborhood restaurant. Richard did his usual good service job.

We went to Stonewood on Wednesday night. They had Wine Down Wednesday with 2 select bottles of wine 1/2 off. Food was ready quick but the server never rushed us and was extremely accommodating.

Our food was very good. It was a good holiday crowd in the bar area where we like to eat in a booth. Most important was the fact that our waitress Courtney was outstanding. Look forward to having her wait assistance in the future visits.

The food was excellent and the service was ok. However, we were looking for a really nice dining experience. We had been there before and were wowed by the service. This time it was just ordinary service. Will try again because we really loved the food. The appetizer, drinks and steaks were perfect.

My husband had the Salmon and said it was delicious. Three of us had the chicken dish (can't recall the name) with goat cheese, artichokes, sundried tomatoes, spinach, etc.
We all loved it...very flavorful.
The Smoked Salmon appetizer was awesome as well.

Our favorite neighborhood restaurant....consistently great!

They did completely mess up my wife’s order but made up for it by letting us keep the messed up one and not charging us for the correct one. So in my book that makes customer service a high priority for them. They also comped a dessert and a champagne toast. Service was excellent and this one flaw will not stop us from coming back

The food was very good. Our waiter, Richie, did a good job serving us.

Thanksgiving dinner was fair. It had all the typical items on turkey dinner but nothing special. Employees were friendly and all were wearing masks.

Stone Wood Grill is a reliable local fav dining experience. The herb crusted grouper is so good! Yummy bread basket and the stacked avovado/salmon salad is awesome.

The staff at Stonewood is great. The steak is well seasoned.

Service was terrible, didn't get my glass of wine until I was almost done with my meal. I requested that the salmon be cooked medium and it was well done. Been here many times but this was the worst I have experienced!

Birthday dinner, steak great, salmon was totally under cooked even though we asked for it to be cooked well done. I made Thanksgiving reservations that I now will cancel because of the salmon. I invited guests that were there for the first time. Overall a very disappointing experience.
