Storico Fresco Alimentari e Ristorante
I have been a fan os Storico since they were a little pasta shop near East Andrews. Sadly, my last 2 experience dining at Storico weren’t as memorable as it used to be when they first opened their restaurant.
Service was not on point. Our reserved table was not ready for our party, our waiter took forever to acknowledge us and forgot to bring one of the appetizers. He also seemed overwhelmed by the crowd. Understandable. So please hire more personal.
Ambiance: Restaurant was too dark and extremely loud. You can’t have a conversation unless you scream. Also, we couldn’t read the menu or see the dishes unless we had our phones flashlights on.
Food: nothing special. Lack of flavor. My husband, who is Italian, can make better ragu than the one we ate here. Not being disrespectful towards Michael who I admire the research on traditional Italian food. But the passion is missing.
I think I remember the arancini appetizers having different flavors. The one we had was all cheese and tomato sauce. It was great but not what I expected. The menu was not interesting and lacked their interesting very regional pastas. It had been a while since my last visit and I feel the quality went down.
They might be very busy with Forza Storico but please, don’t let Storico fresco lose what made it special.
I want to try Forza Storico to see how they are doing over there. Don’t know when or if I ll be back again for Storico Fresco so soon. Maybe lunch and never dinner again.
The place is a bit hidden but so worth finding! The food and cocktails were excellent and the service was good...a bit slow but good and understandable for this type of a restaurant on a Saturday night. If you want great Italian, this is the place to get it!
The food was great and I genuinely enjoy going to this restaurant. However, this last visit was for my birthday dinner and there were a number of things that went wrong. We were seated late, our waitress was incredibly hard to get a hold of throughout dinner, and they charged us for the 'complimentary' birthday dessert. I really expected better from Storico.
great food flavor but service is slow at times for simple items , like a glass of wine or even some bread.
other families come in after us and they were eating long before us.
Love everything but the noise level is a little high. Food and service was great. Love the Specialty Cocktails, Buffalo Bill in particular.
Our go to for delicious
Great spot, great staff, delicious food. Noise level was a bit much, though the place was packed to the gills (on a Weds!). We’ll go back, but maybe try to sit outside so it’s a little quieter.
Great food but the noise was intolerable. I might come back if I reserve a table outside.
Great food, a bit noisy, service could be a little quicker. Bar service was great
Great food. V. Busy on Monday night as it’s 1/2 price bottles of wine. It gets pretty loud.
We LOVED our dinner. The food was delicious, atmosphere is fun and lively and they have a very nice wine list.
We love coming to Storico. The food, cocktails and wine are always perfect!
Poor service, so loud that we could hardly talk to each other. My wife's order (shrimp and linguini) arrived with both the heads and tails on the shrimp!! Who would want to want to eat that. She sent it back and told the server to have the heads and tails cut off. Unbelievable. We've eaten there a number of times....but never again.
The Music was so loud. The food was ok nothing special and expensive.
I love this place. I didn’t even realize how good pasta could be.
Fresh pasta, original menu items, great service. It was crowded and loud on a Friday night, so if that’s not your scene, find an off time to go (if there is one?) Also would love to see above getting a chef’s table near the kitchen next time!
The staff realized it was our anniversary and made the night extra special and we so appreciated it! We always love this place and come at least once a week. Love the staff, the casual energetic vibe and of course the food and wine.
The food was great, but you pretty much have to yell to get someone to hear you. It's LOUD! Eating outside is more of an intimate experience.
First time here. Celebrated my wife’s birthday with our family. Nice atmosphere with very lively crowd (this was a Wednesday). Service was good. Servers are more business personality than fun and interactive. Food was good.
Amazing & attentive staff!! The food is DELICIOUS too!
The food is amazing!!!
Great food. Efficient and friendly service. The noise level is indeed a little high but it does make for a very lively atmosphere. My guests and I had a no issues hearing each, even though we are "old". LOL.
One thing that really turns me off at a restaurant is being “nickeled and dimed”. While I don’t think an Italian restaurant should charge you for bread, I accepted it. But when they didn’t refill coffee without charging us again, that’s where I draw the line. It was good food, but those kinds of things will keep me from going back. A $130 meal to boot.
We enjoy the food and the energy but have to say it is soooo loud that it is difficult to carry on a conversation across the table. We’ll go back but be mindful of the group dynamics.
Great wine selection. Wonderful appetizers and amazing pasta dishes! For a place that is able to sit a ton of people— the noise inside is loud but somehow you are able to hear with no issues at your table! Love this place, the atmosphere and the staff! Thanks guys! #DiscoverSandySprings
Great food but very loud
There is no comparing this restaurant!
Amazing food but I rarely have decent service here and I’d love to see this change cause it’s excellent food.
Delicious. My only complaint is that both times I’ve been there, my table wasn’t ready. This time not even close to be ready. And it’s soooo loud it’s difficult to have a conversation.
Very authentic Italian. Excellent food and great ambiance.
the food was extremely delicious. pasta is fresh made- portions not large but just the right size. Very filling. noise level was loud.
The food is great and reasonably priced. Wine selection is limited and would benefit from including some non-Italian options. Dessert was the only disappointment. Nice, lively atmosphere and swift service, but don’t go there if you want a quiet, romantic night because it gets seriously loud. Seemed to be kid-friendly, so authentic Italian in that regard as well.
Crazy noisy!!! Much noisier than anywhere I’ve ever been!
Best Italian and fun space for a casual dinner with friends.
Always! Regularly do, and in fact ran into someone at the restaurant Monday who I had recently recommended it to :)
Absolutely fabulous home made pasta & fried chicken. The food was innovative, uber fresh & the fried squash blossoms were to die for. Service was impeccable. We can’t wait to go back!
Food was good as always; however, the restaurant is very noisy. Not the best choice for a romantic anniversary dinner!
Staff is beyond rude and food was okay. Better Italian restaurants in Atlanta. Will not be going back.
