Visited on Monday 28 September and it was perfect. Nice and quiet and the wine and host/hostess was amazing. Kept me and my lady company and served us drinks and explained them to us. Had an amazing time!

Unfortunately, the winery did not offer any food.

There was no food so the rating about food isn’t applicable. Gorgeous place and great wines!

To be clear there was no food but the wine, the view, and the ambience was amazing! A Niagara classic!

We went there to sit outside and try some glasses of wine. They were so accommodating with our guests and the staff were great. The view from the patio is beautiful and they have a lot of outdoor social distanced seating. We were there on a Saturday and there was a DJ playing some nice chill music and there was also a food stand where we could buy hot dogs or fries.

10/10 would recommend stopping here, the wine is also amazing. We had the Gamay and the Cab Franc!

Nice winery with good wines, but wine price is a bit expensive.
We like our visit at this winery and the guide was very knowledgeable about wines.

Only providing 1 hour time slots despite no notice provided for this and no evidence of this in the booking confirmations. Our server notified us only 10 minutes left of our reservation and after he bought out a full glass of wine for each guest so we only had a short period to finish our wine. Terrible service, should have been upfront on the seating.

went for drinks on the patio, waiter was super friendly and helpful, wines were great and the live dj played some solid music. On the pricier side but worth it.

Booked a lunch reservation a week in advance for 1PM, but once they seated us they told us they had run out of food. Poor communication on behalf of stratus, and we felt obligated to order drinks as they only notified us of the lack of food after we were seated. Won’t be returning.

Did not have a meal there. So, could not really rate the food. We were there for wine by the glass and we had the chips. Those were good.

The Rose was excellent.

Staff do excellent COVID protocols. Felt very safe.

Can’t wait to return.

I booked via Open Table for our champagne wedding anniversary- got a 2:30pm reservation and when we got there we were starving! The waiter informed us there was NO food - that you had to call ahead and book a “picnic box” but they were sold out. So we had a bag of chips and left and spent another hour wandering around Niagara trying to find a table at the last minute!

Why would this restaurant be on Open Table and imply it was a restaurant when it isn’t? Why wouldn’t Open Table ask me to call ahead to book a picnic box?

Super disappointed. Big dent in our big anniversary plans.

No tastings offered when you book a table. Only 5 oz glasses. We skipped the food. It looked pre-made. We reserved a table to overlook the vineyard and a large tent was being installed and blocked the view completely. Bad timing and disappointing.

Excellent Environment.

We made a reservation for a glass of wine on the patio with a light menu. The server was very nice. The seating area had a beautiful vineyard view. Unfortunately as we were seated to our table the chair pillows were a bit messed up with crumbs on one of them. We noticed this more than we might have normally being that it’s Covid times. Either way it was gross wiping off someone’s crumbs. Our white wine was very nice - not crazy great. The food was really disappointing. It was a snack menus but with the snacks they offered it didn’t really need a menu, not much. So if you book plan on just a glass of wine. We left thinking - worth checking out but not in a rush to go back.

Service was the best thing out of this experience. They real tried their best. Wine was good but too expensive for a 5oz glass. $20 per glass of red wine. One choice!
Now the food is a different story!
They brought it in a box and put it on a foot and a half diameter table; so manage not to drop the glasses of wine and water on the ground or spill everything on your self. To the managers and/or owners: very unprofessional and insulting!

Amazing as always and greatly appreciated the service by Margot and the amazing advice from Jack. An absolute must for any premium wine lover.

Didn’t get food. Waiter was nice and building is gorgeous but the grass is dead and 15$ for a glass of wine is so overpriced.

Unfortunately this wasn’t a good experience. They sold out of all food items. Service was slow and in our 45min window we got asked once how we were doing. The atmosphere is nice, but nothing else to offer in my opinion. Even a couple locals we met said stratus isn’t “all that”. Kinda sucked.

I love Stratus and their wines are excellent . I did not order any food so can’t comment . The wines were delicious but expensive . The reservation time was set at max one hour but we were told to leave at 45 minutes so they could clean I understand the situation given what we are currently dealing with , but will take my wine to go and drink at home without feeling rushed.

Overall the visit was pleasant. However inability to do wine tasting spoiled the experience. Lack of food did not added the positivity. Other than that the wine was very good and the staff very friendly

Love coming here - we sat on the patio for a glass of wine, it's one of my favourite things to do! - we haven't had any stratus food before, but the staff always have a nice glass of wine ready to pour and lots of knowledge! Great atmosphere always

Excellent wine selection, only wish there were more options for snacks and food. Unfortunately there are only prepared picnic options right now due to COVID-19

Everything was perfect, from the ambiance to the service. 5 stars and I cannot wait to come back.

We had a great server who poured us healthy glasses of crisp white and rose wines. The patio was gorgeous with music playing and delicious snacks. A great afternoon stop.

We did the wine by the glass, couldn’t indulge in the good options as they were sold out. Overall the experience was good. Would definitely visit again.
