Server was super helpful, came by enough but wasn't intrusive

Overall, everything was good except the service. The server was rude, didn't come back for a while after we got our food, forgot our drinks that we ordered. Both bartenders were talking behind our back and we could hear them making rude comments about our group (not something you want your customers to hear). I had a good time, but we felt uncomfortable so we left.

If you have food allergies, be careful eating here. I told them my allergies up front, pointed out what would be an issue in my order, and the food didn't come out right.

I have a dairy allergy and there was cheese all over my tater tots and sandwich even though I specifically pointed asked the server to make sure they didn't add it. They were nice about it and whisked it away, but I realized quickly they'd just scooped the top layer of cheese and tots away and put fresh ones on top. So there was still cheese bits on my sandwich and more cheese scattered in the under layer, which I didn't discover until later. They replaced the bread once I pointed that out a second time. Food was fine. Over salted tots, no salt on the BLT ingredients so it tasted flat. My partner liked the cheese curds though the gluten free batter was different and not what he'd expected.

They didn't have enough servers to handle the customer level, which I get has to be a huge challenge right now, so service was pretty minimal. That was fine.

Ultimately, underwhelmed and won't be going back any time soon.

The stray dog is a very comfortable, funky little place on E Hennepin Ave in NE Minneapolis. The dog artwork and decorations are really cute and interesting. The burgers are the thing to order on the menu - very delicious. The service was great and it was very safe and social distancing and masks were required.

This place has great vegan options and is wonderfully dog-friendly on the patio.

Overall pretty good food and service. Good beer selections. Would definitely go back.

We reserved a table outside and were able to move it into the sun, was a great experience and they were very accommodating.

Stray Dog is fantastic! I met the owner, by accident, and was telling him how good the service was and the food. I love this place and they have the best burger in the Twin Cities . The New Yorker is by far the best burger I have eaten in Minneapolis since I have moved here 25 years ago. Keep up the great work. I know it is tough times, but we will continue to do carry out in the winter months. Also, the staff has been fabulous! Courteous and very helpful.

Love this place! Food is always great, we sat outdoors and had our dog with us and had a great time. Service was a little slower but I think it was because of a no show worker. But it still was a great lunch and the staff was very accommodating. Look forward to our next visit.

I've been going to the Stray Dog for years and I've never had anything but excellent service and great food. I have Celiac and my friend is Vegan and the staff is great about making sure we are not served something we cannot eat. I love it because they have a dedicated fryer so I can eat their amazing tots! I will continue to come back again and again! Love the Stray Dog!

Stray Dog kitchen is excellent, and they have a great selection of beers. I'm always made to feel welcome here.

The food was delicious! I had the vegan spicy burger and it was soooo good! Also it was actually spicy which I appreciate. The fries were perfectly cooked, and I washed it all down with a superb local beer. We sat outside and it was obvious that the employees were cleanly and attentive.

The place has lots of character and great food. Recommend.

One of my favorite NE spots, Stray Dog is always excellent

Stray dog as always been my absolute favorite casual place to eat ever since my freshman year of college. They have an entire vegetarian/vegan menu that has variety besides the standard veggie burger. Every server I have had has been friendly and a bonus to my meal. If you’re looking for a place with good beer and exceptional food then this is it!

We had good service and the outside seating was great until two large dogs were seated near us. They barked too much and is was not how we wanted to spend our time. I love dogs but not that close when I’m eating dinner and trying to carry on a conversation.

The steak salad wasn’t as good as it usually is.

Stray Dog has top notch service, awesome beer selection, and consistently great food. Love this place!
