STREGA Italiano – Woburn

Great food and great service. I would recommend for any occasion.

New ownership, Danu Partners. Menu changed a little and more focused on Italian food. We got married there 8 years ago when it was Beacon Grille and go every year on our anniversary. Strega Prime over the years has been great. Apps were a mix vs before. Aranccini not as good. Octopus much better. Steak before was much much better. Didn't like my side of.whipped potatoes. But wife got the branzino and was excellent. Tiramisu was better than before. Waiter was great and really helped pick a great bottle of wine. Overall like the old chef and menu better but still good. I wouldn't get steak there but will try pasta next time.

The food at Strega is always excellent - so our experience this time was no different. All 3 courses were expertly prepared, and dishes was inviting and succulent. The service has been maddeningly inconsistent over the past few years. Our server, while courteous and knowledgeable, was not overly attentive or helpful with wine pairings with our entrees. If Strega can fix the service flaws, they will return to a top flight experience across the board. Until then, come for the food, and lower your expectations on the service.

Food and service were fantastic! It was a Saturday night, but was quiet due to Covid. Staff was very kind and attentive. I had the filet and it was done to perfection. Others in my party chose to go with a pasta dish that was delicious

Terrible service, no specials, no welcome to Strega, this was a special get together for my husband and his friends who all served together , we came to spend good money on good food and it was very lackluster to say the least, overcooked filet, slow service, very displeased

One year dating anniversary with my girlfriend

My husband and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary there. The service was great and the food was delicious. The ambiance was perfect for a romantic night out.

Great food, drinks, service and atmosphere!

We had a great waiter. Had a couple of issues with food. My steak was a bit underdone. Vegetables were not hot when served. Both had to be sent back to the kitchen.

Arrived a little early for our reservation Took us right in Service food was very good been there a few times have not been disappointed once and in light of COVID-19 the food menu had declined and a lot of my favorites have been taking off the list due to the sale of the restaurant from a steakhouse to An Italian restaurant food was still fantastic the wine was awesome low to medium noise level what else could you ask for it was a fantastic Halloween night and I was with my wife

Not in love with the menu changes. The linguine & class was SO salty couldn’t eat it. Was never asked how things were & why I didn’t eat it or want to bring it home.

We love Strega. It was our daughters birthday and we were celebrating 7 yrs cancer free. Our waitress, Katie was fabulous!!! I was a little disappointed in my NY strip. And the choices for appetizers. I usually get a crab cake or a tuna app. But neither choice was offered. The wine the service just amazing. Kate

We celebrated our anniversary at Strega. It was a great night of fine dining with excellent service topped off with a complimentary tiramisu on a plate wishing us a Happy Anniversary. Great place to enjoy a special event!

Gone down hill

Food was not up to par for $100 per person. I heard it recently changed ownership. Don't mind paying if the food is good. Unfortunately this was not the case.

Pre-COVID steaks were great. Now, I ordered a ribeye and it was the cheapest cut of beef they could get. A lot of excess fat and grizzle. Barely edible. For $52 a steak I expected a much better steak than something I could have got at a Ninety-Nine restaurant for less than half the price.

Always wonderful

I’ve been to Strega Prime when the original owners had ownership but now I’ll never go back. So, our repeated himself with the special of the day, then he brought me over the wrong drink and he was very dry and I still tipped him 25%. I also wasn’t happy that my two $20 gift cards expired and when I asked my waiter to tell his boss he never came back over to us so we left. The place you could hear a pin drop which was very awkward to enjoy yourself. I’ve been to Strega prime and the Waterfront at least 15 times but will definitely not return to Strega Italiano aka Prime

I have a lot of food allergies so, dining out is difficult. However, Chef Tom went above and beyond to ensure that I had a SAFE and pleasurable dining experience. His attention and care, in addition to the great food, will keep me coming back to this location.

Our reservation was originally for 3 but our son at the last minute told us he was bringing someone with him. I want to thank the staff for accommodating is and to our waiter Thomas for making it a wonderful night, was friendly and attentive to our requests. The food was excellent and will go back to try other things on the menu

Food was excellent! We were over due for a nice meal during Covid. Restaurant was very clean, servers were providing excellent, safe & extra hygienic service & we appreciated the extra effort they were putting in to ensure our safety! Chef really got it right for us from the delicious bread, to the slightly different take on garden salads, which were so fresh, to the perfectly cooked filet’s, to the amazing whipped potatoes!! Let’s not forget the rich chocolate dessert to end a perfect meal! We were very patient with these times we believe we should be so maybe things took an extra few minutes but that was fine with us! We will definitely be returning sooner than later next time!

Great experience, great service and great food.

For an upper end restaurant, the food was rather poor.. Filet Minions were obviously frozen meat that was microwaved to defrost, then grilled, and such had very little flavor and were very dry.. The Saltimbocca chicken dishes were way over cooked, chicken was very dry, had only a tiny, very tiny piece of cheese for a filling, and were extremely salty, almost to the point of being inedible. they were perched upon a very thin painted on bit of mashed potato, definitely not worth the price being charged... One of the guests ordered a southern comfort Manhattan, only to have the waiter come back and tell us that they no longer carried southern comfort! BIZARRE TO SAY THE LEAST, TOPPED OFF BY A NON RESPONSIVE, BRASH WAITER WHO COULD CARE LESS.. If this is how the new owners are going to operate this brand, they won't last here!
