Sugar Factory American Brasserie - Atlanta
I was called 2hrs before my dinner that my reservation had to be moved up 30mins . My birthday celebration was rushed mostly all the food was wrong but it was still good ... my waitress was rude I’d like to try again one day and really enjoy it without being rushed ...
Dishes were disgusting they gave us dirty plates and silverware. You have to ask for the silverware. They literally run out of everything. They gave us cheap paper cups for our water. It look like they only had one waiter for the upstairs. Food was cold. The drinks was the only thing good. The restaurant is nasty. For the price they charge, the bathroom doors should be up kept better and upholstery. Beautiful black velvet chairs but need cleaning from all the ice cream from previous customers hands. Smell the kitchen right wen u walk in the door and not in a pleasant way. If u ever worked in a kitchen you would know the smell. They need work in all departments either they were short staffed or the manager doesn’t know how to manage. Are waitress tried but she was spread way to thin. Couldn’t even stop to let us answer a question of is everything okay. Didn’t bring enough waters out. It was horrible overall
Great place to be. Family friendly, great for birthdays celebrations!
This is my second time going and I love it!
The food was excellent , place was a major vibe services was satisfactory and overall great experience
We came here for our 3 year anniversary dinner after reading about the reviews online. Terrible experience. Our food was awful. My husband ordered the donut burger and the donut was so dry he just took it off completely. Couldn't send it back because our witness never returned to the table after even taking our order. Someone else actually delivered the food. I was able to get a drink refill when she came to give us our bill. She conveniently added an 18% gratuity for our table of 2. When we were leaving we noticed the sign that said 18% gratuity added for groups of 6 or more. That was a quick one she pulled for a $15 tip. We ordered a $36 goblet when we sat down that arrived AFTER we were already done eating our food so no point in ordering dessert now. I would have just canceled the drink order but remind you, our waitress was now where to be seen after taking our order. Terrible experience, awful food, even worse service. I had such high expectations given I wanted to spend our anniversary there but I have nothing positive to say about this place other than when we finally got to leave.
I went for my birthday this past weekend and by far the best experience ever. Service, food, and drinks outstanding. Jakel was an amazing, friendly, upbeat waitress I would love to have her as my waitress every time I come because I will be coming back.
Waitress was rude. Took a long time before our order was taken.
The servers are very rude and so is the manager!
There were quite a few guests waiting but we were seated fairly quickly for a busy Friday night since we had reservation. Once orders were placed food was also served quickly and our server was very polite and professional.
Food and service was amazing, expensive but worth the price
Our waiter took $20 out of our total. He tried to add $65 to my dad’s total for a tip.
Everything about the restaurant was great and I will be back
Our waitress Meek was great! She’s so personable and energetic. Meek helped make my daughter’s sweet 16 a memorable experience at Sugar Factory.
Gratuity was charged for less than 6 guest, which is false advertising
Server had a nasty attitude and wasn’t courteous at all.
Table wasn’t cleaned in a timely manner
Great place for a couples date or familt outing. The hostest was amazing and the place was clean and well lit.
It was terrible. Food cold, drinks watered & tasted funny, spent $130 on nothing could’ve went to Ruth’s Chris. Never going back.
Took to long to seat me and to get to my table , my drink took 20 minutes
Drinks were horrible!!! for $39 ... I was expecting to much more flavor! 18% Gratuity added on a bill with only 2 people !!! Oh and the bill could not be spilt! Asked for chicken tenders and fries and I was charged separately instead of the combo!
Over priced and just not good !!! Will not be back
You have to make a reservation or it will be a 1-2 hour wait. We made a reservation so it went smoothly. Atmosphere is nice. Music playing. Once we ordered it took about an hour to get our food and drinks. Which is a long time to me but the food was good so it was worth it I guess. The big drinks for $36 were cool but we ordered a watermelon flavor and when the waiter brought it out he has other candy and it and told us they were out of watermelon but why didn’t he tell us that before he made the drink.. there’s a 8% gratuity. So beware. If you have the extra money to spend it’s Nice there.
Me and my husband had e great time and the waiter was wonderful and the manager I talked to was just amazing and had very good customer service.
It’s a beautiful setting and really has potential. The serves were very energetic but it came off as very playful sometimes and no one wants their food played around. Also, everyone at my tables food needed to be heated up. We made a reservation but our seats we’re terrible because they decided to have us at a table right near the kitchen door where we consistently heard the annoying squeaking of the door and a waiter almost dropped food on my friend who was sitting there. The hostess came back around and asked if we we’re good, then said Y’all better not say no, but it was written all over our faces that we were not. He then quickly skipped away to the beat of a song that was playing. I don’t think I’ll be going back until they make a few changes. Don’t ignore the bad reviews guys.
The service and food was okay, however the music was entirely way too loud! I couldn’t even have a conversation with my family. Don’t really care to go back
We waited a hour for our drinks and then when I received my drink there was a a chunk of hair in it! We waited a hour and a 1/2 for our which when we received the food all the order of fries were cold. We did not have the experience I expected! I am very disappointed.
Food was undercooked, almost raw. And over priced.
My overall experience was good. Everything was really pretty. Food & drinks were just ok, but a little pricey. The staff was really accommodating and very nice about the it. Our waitress Shan, was the bomb!! I loved the atmosphere, it was a great evening @ Sugar Factory!!
make the burgers real pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I had an amazing experience! My server was great and very detailed! I don’t remember her name but she has red hair and she was training that day! I asked for her advice on food and she had great recommendations! Went back the next day as well!
Great Service very nice staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would never go again, server took 2 hrs to come to table and we left. Took an hr with the table next to us!!
This was the worst experience ever. The sugar factory is over rated, i made reservations for 4 at 6:30 but me and another person came so we thought with it just being us the service wouldn’t take long. We asked the host can we sit on the patio which we did but it wasn’t supposed to be open. The host sat us and we waited almost a hour before a waiter came to our table. 2 people came and sat next to us and left because the service was POOR and took forever. Me and the person I was with had to ASK for water after sitting 30 mins with no one coming to our table. After they brought the water we asked could we place our order and they told us give them 15 mins because they were short staffed so we still had to wait. After we placed our order we waited another 30-40 mins before our food came and it was cold. The drinks are not as strong as I thought they would be. The manager gave us a free appetizer which was all we ordered because of the wait. My overall experience was terrible.
The customer service was good but they didn’t have much that night. They ran out of sweet tea, no French toast, & the noodles that came with the pasta weren’t the same as usual. It’s like they were giving us what they could and my expectations were higher. Bad experience!
The mood was nice! The food was delicious, was disappointed that I couldn't get my fried oreos due to a backup in orders. But overall a nice experience and I will return.
We didn’t have drinks until 30min after being seated.
Food came out before appetizers. All the staff looked miserable and stressed.
I’m a music lover but the music was so loud I had to yell to have table conversation.
Very disappointed overall.
My family had such a poor experience I went to corporate. The service was horrible the food was cold and came out at different times and we all ordered pretty much the same things . Some of party never received food and we never received drinks. Got tired of waiting decided to leave after 3 hours
The food was really good. This was my first time going and I will be back.
The food was better this time around. I pretty much have been to all of the ones in the states! Good first experience since the pandemic
Music was way too loud, food was mediocre and overpriced, service was terrible. Won’t be back again soon.
The food and service was good! It can take two people to finish the goblet since it is so big and especially if it is alcoholic. I like the birthday fireworks treat they give patrons celebrating their birthdays. The reason for the one star off is out of the servers control. The prices for the drinks expensive. $26 for a non-alcoholic goblet was the most expensive non-alcoholic drink I ever had in my life but I guess it was worth it for my birthday.
Excellent! I will be going back! I took my daughter and niece for her bday and they really enjoyed themselves. Our waitress was awesome and down to earth...we had a great time!
