Made me feel special on my birthday 🥳 Thank you so much.
They were busy when we went, our food was good, however we didn’t get any refills, and every time I tried to order something, our server was nowhere to be found. I was really excited to go, and I was severely underwhelmed with our experience.
Super fun place to celebrate! Drinks are pretty expensive and its mostly ice... but overall it was a great time.
The Sugar Factory in Bellevue was vert Charming. This was our first time eating there and it was a Wonderful experience..The Drinks and Apps were Amazing!! Can’t wait to go back!!
It took 15 minutes after we sat down for someone to greet us, it wasn't busy at all, definitely not worth it, I ordered a $ 19 smoothie for my daughter and that took 25 minutes to get to the table. I will definitely not go back again not worth it.
We visited the Sugar Factory for my daughter's birthday and was very unimpressed with our overall experience. Though the restaurant was fairly empty, our service was poor and infrequent. The waiter was often not available and had water & drink refills had to be requested every time. They forgot an entire order and had to put it in after the rest of our food had been delivered. My daughter ordered off of the appetizer menu for her dinner, and they brought it out well in advance of the other meals. The qualify of the food wasn't that great, especially considering the price. We paid $15 for what appeared to be a fairly unappetizing grilled cheese sandwich that was soft, had the cheese melted out onto the plate, and looked like it was made with wonder bread. The prices were outrageous for many things, especially the goblet drinks ($40 for a non-alcoholic beverage!), and overall just seemed way over the top for not much value.
Our waiter was phenomenal. The food choices are extremely limited and no real healthy options but what can we expect when you go to a place with Sugar in the title. We didn’t do drinks but those are excellent in variety but we passed for now. Would go back for sure but maybe after Covid and perhaps on a cheat day.
There’s no outdoor seating even though it was an option when I booked the reservation.
The experience was good but I felt disappointed because it was my birthday and my date inform our server about it and he overlook it.
So an couple minutes later, the server we had went to another table and sang happy birthday to that table and I was like serious.
My 8 year old daughter and I had a mommy daughter date there for her spring break! She absolutely loved it and wants to go back for her birthday! The drinks were delicious as well as the food!
We went as a special treat for my 11-year old’s birthday. This was the first time visiting the Sugar Factory and we will not be returning. The music level was loud to the extreme. I had to shout at everyone at the table. Not only was it loud, the music was offensive. One song repeated the N-word and another talked about having sex. We were not the only table with young children. There were at least 5 other families. All of the food came out luke-warm. The cheese in my club sandwich was old and had hard edges to it. The kids’ milkshakes looked fun but had a glutinous texture to them and were unpalatable. A very disappointing experience especially for how much money we spent.
Food was subpar for extreme prices. The floor and tables were dirty. The music was soo loud you could not hear anything...it was far past the level of energy or fun ambiance. I went in with little expectations of the food and more for the experience, and was still disappointed. After our food was dropped at the table, we were never once checked in on again. Waters were empty, we needed condiments and napkins and were never able to get someone to come to our table. Even my 8 year old was annoyed and kept trying to wave an employee down. Then they couldn't figure out how to use the standard gift card i had and tried to claim that if it is bought in vegas it will only work there, though their online policies say differently as did the restaurant when it was purchased. In the end, even after their troubles, the manager did nothing and just handed us the bill. I now have a gift card for $50 that i have no desire to even try to use again. All the bad reviews are too real, do not overlook them and waste your time and money going here.
Had high expectations based on the hype online and "self-promotion" of company. Started a little strange: when looking on open table for reservations, it was clear from my choices that there was plenty of room. Open Table had spots open every 10 minutes or so. Since we were only a block or two away, we simply drove over and figured we'd walk in. The first person who greeted us asked if we had a reservation and I said "no, but your reservations looked wide open so we came right away". He said let me see what we have. While he was searching for a table, another person comes up and asks if we had reservations I told this person the same answer to which they replied "we are booked for the day." What??? How can this be? So I got onto Open Table and booked a table for 5 minutes from then. Meanwhile host number one walks back and says "we found a table for you". What's weird is that there were more than enough tables, there were only me and my 11 yo son. Upon sitting down the table still felt sticky, and the floor was greasy with food particles everywhere. Took a while to be met by server, and food took longer. Then between items being dropped, server was scarce. Place seemed like it only had 2 active servers, yet there were all these other employees walking around, not sure what they were really doing. Guy behind bar was working hard too; our server was nice and pleasant, and great attitude for being obviously overwhelmed. Thing was, it wasn't THAT busy, just understaffed for what the crowd size. Food was good -- not great, not bad. But surely overpriced. I don't mind paying top dollar, I simply expect top dollar quality. This is more of a thin veneer at this place. They constantly show different "celebrities" at different locations and this is supposed to make the place "haute"? The final insult was music: for a birthday they played "All I want for my birthday is a big bootie ho". Listen to the words, totally inappropriate for a family place.
It was fun for my boys, drinks where awesome. Food not so much to choose from. It was very dirty, food and dirty napkins on the floor didn’t even swept before sitting us.
Server did not come by as much to check. No utensils until I asked and it was after we started eating and same with the additional water we needed for our group. No one told us when we would get the milkshakes and the kids thought they were forgotten especially since they were almost done eating their meal.
Service was sub par which was more frustrating as we had a reservation right at opening when we were one of six tables. Having to ask for silverware, not getting refills on water, asking for app plates, and notes on reservation were not upheld all made the lunch (a year in waiting because of dining being closed a year ago on the same day) to be very diminished in the experience at other Sugar Factory locations.
I’ve been to the one in Vegas, and this one is so beautiful. Very friendly staff
My boyfriend and I went here for lunch and enjoyed our time there. The drinks with dry ice are great except several of the drinks are unavailable virgin which isnt noted on the menu. The restaurant was what you might expect, a little noisy, bright, but definitely fun and unique, The food wasn’t bad.
I made a reservation via the app when we arrived the manager said he couldn't find our reservation in the system. He then said "I'll just squeeze you in somewhere" he was rude and acted like he was better than where he was working. I showed him my reservation conformation on my phone he just shrugged his shoulders. This resulted in a no show on my account. The food was great the server was fantastic. Kids had a great time!
Great food, Awesome desserts and popping music. Service could be better for the price your paying.
The service at this place was awesome! The staff is attentive And wanted to make sure our experience was memorable! The food was pretty good too and the milkshakes are like wow!
We spent $39 apiece on three beautiful drinks that tasted like carbonated water with a few gummies in them. Absolutely the worst drinks we’ve ever drank! Our server didn’t check on us; we waited for 30 minutes at a time before we could get something else. The floor was covered in food from previous diners. Fries were delicious, burger delicious, milkshake delicious, those were the only good takeaways from $275 spent.
It was so much fun and the food was delicious!
My milkshake came with a huge piece of cheesecake on it! Its definately worth it. Just be prepared to fast the next day, lol 😆
Menus were dirty with food obviously not sanitized. We had 5 in our party was only five 3 place setting after asking for them. The had to wait to ask for 2 more place settings. Service was slow. Food was mediocre. Won’t be going back.
WAY overpriced. Mediocre food at best. Poor service. Server even said "we're not really a restaurant". Don't waste your time or money. Completely disappointed.
Over all good experience. I think other locations are much nicer then this location, so I think the prices aren't worth it. It's nice to take the kids and have fun at dinner. Wasn't special like I've heard about and saw on the website.
Great experience!! Would love to go back for a birthday party!
Waited almost 15 min for a server. Once ordered food came within 10 min. Dry and noodle dish not fresh. This restaurant has really diminished the last couple years. Very transactional experience.
Food was not the best at all. The food definitely didn't match the cost at all.
Overall it was an ok experience.
Problems:
The music was way too loud
Waiter spilled water all over me (accidents happen) but he said my drink was on him but the manager was gone so he wasn't able to remove the charge.
It was an awesome experience! Ambience was great! Food was terrific, prices were absurd. Ordered an ice tea and never got it, that was ok. Had to flag someone down for silverware, and waters were never refilled. At the end of our visit, we ordered a Oreo milkshake and realized it was $18 and request to take it off the bill. It came in a 16 oz cup, with a snicker sticking out of it.. and that was that. We appreciated them taking it off, otherwise everything else was good.
Music was a bite loud at times. I brought my Family of six with three smaller children 5-6-8 yrs old. It was a later reservation of 9PM maybe this is why the atmosphere was more like a club then a kid candy restaurant. Personally I had a blast. My family and will definitely be coming back.
Waited 20 min after reservation to be seated. Drinks as popular as they may be took some time to arrive. Half drink was stuck under a layer of ice. Food and shakes were great. A place where people came for Birthdays. Very loud.
It was our first time there, I loved the hospitality of the host and servers as well as the food runner. The drinks as milkshakes are cool, and fun and as well as the food, it was fairly good, but nothing out of the ordinary.
One thing I feel like I should comment on as a young interior designer is that the front of the store was fun, lots of colors and candy of course, but as soon as you enter the restaurant it got dark. Black, red and gold on the walls, and black booth bench as well as white and black striped chairs.
It’s the sugar factory, it should be a bit more poppy colors and fun candy like accessories, lamps (for example), fun color chairs, tables with candy on or In them just for the look and to give a better fun candy vibe, something to look forward to doing again.
Overall it was ok/good.
We were at the Seattle /Bellevue location, not sure why it’s saying Vegas!
What a let down, my kids were very excited and they even thought it was lame. It was a dirty unclean restaurant.
Nothing on the menu was anything better than Glorified bar food. Our service was not great by any means, we had hoped for a fun cool experience but we honestly all wanted to leave before even being seated. Our food was cold, literally cold 😳. The staff was okay, but slow & forgot my daughters $18 shake (that we ordered with our drinks) we mentioned it & it arrived after she had her dinner. We should have went to the steak house across the way, I’m surprised this place is in between the high end shopping. Won’t be back
Service was terrible. Waiter literally took our order and never came back to our table once. We didn’t have any utensils or napkins. I had to get up multiple times to ask for things and refills of our water. My $40 drink (which was the wrong drink in the first place but i didn’t complain) had what she said “too much dry ice” so half of it bubbled all over the table and the other half froze at the bottom solid and became slush and ice. She saw what was happening and didn’t offer to make a new one until an hour later. Keep in mind it’s not busy at all, she was waiting 3 other tables. I told get to take it off and she did. Food was very tasty though so good job chefs. But waiter needs some work, and bartender needs to use less dry ice next time.
Service was very slow. Waitress wasn’t open top of getting drinks or delivering drinks when they were ready. Had to keep going up to the bar to ask for things. Went here for a birthday celebration and won’t come again based on slow service. This was a week night and not busy, so don’t understand what the problem was.
We had the best server, the food was amazing, drinks were amazing, got a free birthday shot and scoop of ice cream! It was the best birthday experience i could have imagined! Thank you sugar factory!
It was a fantastic way to spend my daughters sweet 16!
